Massively unrealistic to think we will get Richards + Jo and any money at all! As quite rightly pointed out by previous poster!! Lets be fair City want rid of Jo...paid 19mil...already gunner take a big hit on him say worth 8-10mil now??!! Cant be much less than that!! Richards was awesome when he came onto the scene... not long ago maybe season and ad a half ago was being linked with 20million pound move to the gunners so again cant have lost that much value even tho his attiutude has been brought into question!!!

If Sheffield United can ask for £7million for a player that's only played around 40 games at Championship level then £9million wouldn't even buy you Rodwell's boots. Well said squire.....rodders is a very level headed young lad..... his sense of loyalty and dignified approach will keep him out of the clutches of fergie for many years and he will achieve all he wants to in the game with the team he loves!!! 9 million?? In the current market, taking into account his potential it would have to be nearer 15!!

Realise that there are a number of areas we need to strengthen this year, but do think that we should try and secure the likes of Matuidi or M'Bia as a direct replacement for Captain Fantastic when he decided at the end of next season that his little legs wont work like they used to!! Nailed on success in the PL either of the two mentioned and very different to what we currently have on offer!! Either greatly received.... hope u listening DM!!! In Moyes we trust...

First time poster guys so bear with me but got to say have been an avid viewing guest on the site for the last 6 months or so and hve thoroughly enjoyed the banter and spectrum of conflicting views on offer!! To me Arteta is one of our "indispensibles". Money cant buy sum1 with his vision or craft in the final third and I want him to finish his career with us and never leave!! Lescott is different, he has improved and improved since coming here and is talismanic to what <Moyesie is trying to create here!! He is a central personality in the team and is a good player.... BUT personalities can be replaced and I strongly believe that if we can hold out for 18-20million of $hitteh's millions we should bite their arm off!!! It would free up much needed funds to strengthen and attract players to take us to the promised land and with no potential investors on the horizon STILL ( which i have to say baffles me continually ) is our best option to progress as a club and move forward!!! Sorry to be a bore...
