I'm gonna say Bily, he's got to prove his £9 million price tag. Beckford second, he's not an international, nor has he done anything outside of those two FA cup games. Bily is a full international who needs to prove his worth and the highest club level.

for 8 mil i'd rather we buy the Don.
-
i'd be absolutely gutted if this comes true.
-
he's been stellar in the world cup so far. if we managed to get him on a permanent transfer later this summer it'll make our exposure in the US rise exponentially IMO
that's entirely to obvious for anyone in the back room at Everton to catch on to.
-
Sell him. If he can ever recover from the injury jinx he's got he'll be great, but in his current state I think it'd be great business to sell him for 3-4 mil.
-
^^this.

I hope Donovan breaks his ankle again.
I read that out of context for a second. Then I realized "his" referred to Cashley and I agree 100%

After an initial shock, I quite like the new away kit. I'll wait to see the home before deciding which to purchase though.
-
for that price i'd rather we take a chance on a young stiker: Jozy Alitdore.
-
I'll wait til I see the home kit. If the picture is really the kit, I don't know how I feel about it. Like was said, it looks more like a training top than a game day shirt. I may just buy the 1984 kit they're selling on the everton site instead.
-
it's already growing on me.
-
^ article says they've moved £42,000 in shirts. at £50 a shirt that's about 840 or 168/hr. Not exactly the huge numbers they'd have you believe. I think the kit is alright, it's not as dreadful as I first thought and will probably grow on me, but I'll wait to see the home strip before buying anything...when is that one coming out, you think they'd have set a date and announced it when they launched the away kit today.
-
it's official now. that pink thing was the real deal. what a fuck up that is. blue bill must have thought to himself, "i bet i could save a penny on kits for the players if we chose pink, never have a need to wear anything else." I'll make one concession: it looks marginally better on the players than in that picture.

Wow, you lot are awfully hard to please at the national level. I'm gutted for Bainsey if indeed he did miss the WC squad, but give Capello a fucking break. At least Englands wins matches now. When you have to deal with Bob Bradley as your national coach you can resume moaning. Bob Bradley is a tactical retard (Moyes looks downright aggressive in comparison!).

How about we cover our asses and go in for both? I mean Petrov is on a free and his wages can't be ridiculous. It'd be great to sign a first teamer (Bentley) and a back-up. I've resigned to the fact that Pienaar will be gone and I'd be content to see these two as his replacements. That and Donovan or Reyes.
-
Like was said. He can't be worse that Jo was and even better...we've signed someone BEFORE August 30th, hell before June. COYB.
-
Can't think of any better way to ward Citeh off our players than to send one of these there way every time they even think about an Everton player.
-
how fucking hard is it to design a football kit? seems like a pretty fucking simple process. The wankers at LCS better not give us another year of shit for a home kit.
-
City can fuck right off. I hate that lot. They're a fucking parasite and nothing more. They don't deserve a single trophy they win, ever.
-
I was implying that this year's kit is embarrassingly ugly. would rather have a boring kit than an atrocious one.
-
boring > embarrassingly ugly

I say keep the Yak for one more season. Let him bang in 15+ goals and then sell him for a profit next summer. We need the goals and the cash will be nice next year. I'm sure Yakubu wouldn't mind restoring his scoring rep this year if it means he can get more wages at a club like West Ham next year.
-
agree, already said i'd be up for that...bentley plus a few mil = happy days
more specifically, enough extra to buy Landon.
-
I'd like to see a half year spell, not a full year. With how he has played already for us and Blackpool I don't see him being a whole season of play off the mark of Neville and Hibbo. He should be a regular in the side come the new year.
Where Will We Finish?

3rd. Strongest squad we've had and, finally, a good pre-season.
