I just dont get it. Alkmaar payed over 4 mil euros for swedish Pontus Wernblom. A regular u21 international not half as talented as Elm, but they are only willing to pay Kalmar 2 mil euros for Elm. They say something about a transfer clause in Elms contract. Which cant be correct as the new contract was negotiated this spring. Long after Elm had his break through in the internatinal team. No club would let him go for 2 mil after that.
Alkmaar say, "we really want him, but wont pay more. I know he might be talking to other clubs but I hope his choice is Alkmaar

Ive seen this guy play alot, I thought that he would go to a big club before Arshavin, but no. I think he is better than Arshavin but he was also getting more money than Arshavin in wages. I thought he was too dear to buy. (wage wise) 9 mil is cheap for him.

We need Banega and Taylor, It didnt look that bad. Missed penalty, if Saha scored there im sure Everton could have scored another. Burnley played really well, closed the game off after they scored. They beat Manure aswell. Sure Everton needs to find the net, but it wasnt as shite as some are saying. Doomed? No, bad start, yes...

I agree, although CM can be pretty spot on with showing the potential of players, i seem to remember Ibrahima Bakayoko being one of the best players on the game years back.....
I remember Denilson was the player to buy in 01. He turned out to be nothing haha. 20´s all around on his profile..

oh i dont know. Zlatan ibrahimovic, Henrik Larsson, Johan Elmander, Marcus Berg all took that same small first step. They all turned out ok, some better than others.
This proves that the lad had a good think about things. Alkmaar had the lowest wage package, but the promise of first team footy. Good luck to him, we might see him in Everton later.
