  1. I've never done anything other than speak my mind and tell the truth. As i staited in a previous post. I will write something. Some agree/disagree fair enough. But out of nowhere some walking abortion will say something pretty ridiculous Like Barry, Tevez, Toure or Robinho are shit and i just think "people can't be that envious that they are willing to lie to themselves"??? i mean have your say sure. But don't lose the plot!! Do you guys genuinly not agree with my last bit about the city team. Every player we have would simply stroll into your starting 11. As i have stated many many times. I have a real soft spot for Everton, Its fans, what they're all about. But i won't sit and listen to blatant bollocks. I'm sorry if that comes across as being a twat.
  2. Well we will soon see. I bet i'm right here though chaps..... Louis Ha Ha is better in my opinion.
  3. Given - only player city have bought who would start every game at any of the top 4 (Reality = ???? Whatever mate) Richards - LOL (reality = A very talented youngster who was inexplicably played out of position, Would you like him at Everton? of course you would) Toure - unwanted by a top 4 club (reality = Top class prem league CB. Better than any on your books. Arsenal fans were gutted to see him go, Would you like him at Everton? of course you would) Bridge - 3rd choice at top 4 club (reality = fantastic passer/crosser of a ball, better going forward than back but still very classy, Would you like him at Everton? of course you would) Robinho - has his moments (reality = one of the most naturaly gifted players on the planet. Injured for some time last year but still finished as the prem leagues 4th highest scorer....FROM LEFT WING!!!, Would you like him at Everton? HAHAHA. Dream on kid. He wouldn't play for you and you couldn't afford him if you sold your entire starting 11...) Barry - 5th choice england cm (reality = in the top 10 best CM's in the league. Not missed an England game under Capello. Just ask the fat spanish waiter across town about him. He'd snap our hands off for him now he's lost Alonso. England regular, chosen over Carrick in the holding roll, Would you like him at Everton? of course you would) SWP - flopped at top 4 club (reality = he'll turn your blood inside out and he knows where the net is. Was criminaly unused at Chelsea, A City Legend, Another Acadamy product the current England manager loves, Would you like him at Everton? of course you would) STEPHAN IRELAND (HMMMM, FORGET THAT ONE DID YOU??? CONVENIENT) Adebayour - unwanted by top 4 club *arsenal fan insert oppinion here* (reality = Proven goal scorer. Prehaps paid a little over the odds but he's still FAR better than any of your strikers. Especially Jo the Donkey, Would you like him at Everton? of course you would) Tevez - 3rd choice at utd (reality = LMFAO.... The stupidest thing you've said yet. United fans literally begged Fergie to "sign him up", One of the best players on the planet, Would you like him at Everton????? See Robinho (Lescott - 3rd choice)???????????????????????? Sorry lads you missed the boat because of your Greedy stubborn Gollum like manager. We've moved on.
  4. Yeah i think that was.....erm...was it you guys??? oh yeah i remember. You made it there once and you "MAY" even get there again (every 10 years or so). But you will simply never make a sustained challenge like the big4 do year in year out. And like City will when we get rolling....
  5. You are quite blatantly barking mad....This coming from someone who's club captain is PHILL FUCKING NEVILLE....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA......TOO FUNNY.... P.S. i think you'll find Gareth Barry has started the last 10 England Internationals. Capello would disagree with you. (i also noticed you left out Stevie "superman" Ireland!!! Better than any player you have.....PERIOD!!!)
  6. In all fairness lads Jo needs taking out back and having one put in the back of his head..... It would be the kindest thing all round poor lad. He is quite literally THE laziest striker i have ever seen. This is something you will all soon learn. For a Brazilian his first touch is absolutely shocking. Plus when he is 1 on 1 expect him to bottle WAY more than he scores. Unless the ball is quite literally placed at his feet, he will NOT move to receive it. As far as him playing in the cups. Yeah i think he most probably can. Although i doubt you will because he's Gash. Unless you meet us at some point. I heard the most ridiculous comment of all time on a city forum yesterday. Some wank splash genuinely believes that City have told Everton that Jo can be bought at a certain set price if they decide to buy when the loan ends. No club on earth would set a price for a loan player to be sold at, Because if by some miracle he has a blinder for your lot. Then You'll get him for less than he's worth. When we pushed this tool to provide us his sources of this rubbish he simply repeated the same tosh over and over. What a knob.
  7. TBH i think Hughes will get the whole season. No matter where we finish. And will probably keep his job beyond that. Only other teams fans Have a negative opinion of Hughes and believe the new owners are impatiant, or will get bored of City. They said from the very start that it was a 10 year plan. Considering we're only 1 season in, I can't believe how fast things are moving. Shit position last year, agreed. But that was because our away form was dreadfull. Once that is sorted we will be unstoppable. plus if Hughes does go the odds are we will get Mourinho. So it's all good.
  8. Ok. Look fellas your a decent bunch of fans but i'm getting a bit tired of writing something, Being complemented or just getting into a decent debate, just for some silly twat to then write some utter bollocks about City still being shit, or how Our success isn't guaranteed. Because i genuinely believe it is. if you look at our squad now just compared to a season ago. And then last seasons to the season before. Nobody can deny what is happening at City is remarkable!!! Our current first team reads....Given...Richards, Toure, (A.N. Other class CB, not bought yet but will be), Bridge.......Robinho, Barry, Ireland, SWP.....Adebayour, Tevez. plus another load of top class squad players (Onouha, Kompany, Zabaleta, Dunne, Garrido, Petrov, De Jong, Johnson, Santa Cruz, Bellamy). If you genuinely don't believe city are gunna be awsome then you have real problems. People may talk about Gelling, But be honest. Do any of you REALLY think that team won't Gell??? City are the future. Everybody knows it. But nobody will dare admit it. Is that the City fan Arrogance/Ego you all rant about??? One other point. Will for it as much as you want. Even yearn for it. But when you look at United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and now City. Do You Evertonians REALLY Genuinley believe you can break the Top4 and stay there. Competing for the Top prizes in England and Europe year in, year out. Well actually yes. You probably do. Because you have to. But in the Really Real world.....No! without a massive Investor Pumping Silly money into your club. And therein lies the root of why me and mine keep taking so much shit from All and Sundry. You can say what you like but we all know 80 - 90% of all abuse directed at City and it's fans is based on Envy and Fear. So i will leave you to think i am Delusional. And be assured i think your rather delusional yourselves. Add your Rants below....
  9. Sounds like me that pal. Apart from the Oasis bit. they're fucking dog shit.
  10. For your info lad. I was stood in the Kippax when City were in the third tier of English football. And we were still getting 35,000 fans every game. I've been a true blue for 25 years. I was even born and raised on the very Lane that the COMS is now on (Hulme Hall Lane) Moyes (who i rate very highly) talks about loyalty and principles. He won't allow Lescott further his career mainly for those reasons. Yet we shall see just how loyal he is when United offer him old Bacon faces job when he retires. He'll have no such issues or hang ups then. You won't see his arse for dust. You say We are Inflating the market for other teams? Nonsense. If that was the case then Senderos (who you will get for 3 to 5 Million) would end up costing 10 to 12 Million. A lot of managers complain City are "blowing clubs out of the water" when it comes to transfers. Of course they don't like this. But apparently Moyes wants city to "Blow them out of the Water" to get Lescott!!! Hypocrites. £30 million for an average CB, Keep dreaming. Tell me one thing that We are doing that your own club (or anyone else's for that matter) wouldn't do in our situation. We have offered good money for a lad who obviously wants to move on. That money would have gone a long way to improving your own team. Everton will regret Moyse's foolish stubbornness before City will. We will simply move on to Upson (who is better defensively anyway) Personally now i would rather burn the Money that let that greedy Scotch freak of Nature profit from it. P.S. If you think City will only manage a top 10 finish this season you're nuts. Pretty much every one has us penned for 5th place. And to be honest. i think we can probably do even better. Everton Are Widely tipped to finish 6th to 8th.....Nuff said.
  11. Lord Moyes of Goodison dons his tin helmet and fights the Evil Barron Von Hughes and his wicked Eastlands Empire. Aparantly the Bold, Honourable way Moyes fends off Hughes from his advances for a mid level squad player (Lescott) Is nothing short of heroic. Even though he is being offered twice as much as the player is worth. Because Moyes knows he will look damn stupid if he was to do a u-turn and sell the player now. Andy Dunn is a wank splash and his fellow Journo's are just as bad. They paint a picture of City being the bad guy. Don't be fooled, We have done nothing wrong. We are simply doing what every club in our position would do. And a lot more respectfully than most. Of course Rival fans hate city right now and will side with the Journo's. Because your clubs are not in the position we are right now. But ask yourself have we actually done anything wrong??? Have we really inflated the market for everyone else? No ofcourse not. We're not the ones selling players for 80mil. Every player we have bought have been pretty much good value. Adebayour may have been around 5mil or so more than he should be. But it certainly hasn't "ruined" football. It just means clubs will try to do City for a bit more cash. They won't try it on other clubs coz they know they havent got the same funds.
  12. I don't supose any of you chaps have read todays news of the world? In there is a rather stupid article on how brave Lord Moyes of Goodison dons his tin helmet and fights the Evil Barron Von Hughes and his wicked Eastlands Empire. Acording to the idiot journo who wrote this tosh, City might well as be the Nazis. Swarming accross Football and beating all and sundrie into submission, Even when thier advances are unwanted??????? The truth of the matter is City have done ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING WRONG. we bid for Barry, A fee was agreed. Everyones Happy (except Villa fans ofcourse), We bid For Tevez, A fee was agreed, everyones happy (Except United fans ofcourse) We bid for Terry, Bid rejected, move on, everyones happy. We bid for Adebayour, A fee was agreed, everyones happy (except for Arsenal fans ofcourse). We bid for Toure......you get the picture. Then comes the Lescott bid. By far the smallest purchase but granted a very important position. All the media have done since City became so wealthy is pull them apart, calling any player who dares show an intrest in us money grabbers or greedy. They say City Bully clubs into selling thier best players....How so???? If a club dosent want to sell (like yourselves) then simply don't. But the Papers shouldn't then make your manager out to be a champion of the honest hard working club, Fighting off the school bully. Because it simply isn't true! Some even go as far as to state, rather moronically, that City and thier vast wealth are the very ruin of our beloved game. NONSENSE. All we are doing is the very same ALL big clubs allover Europe have had to do to aquire genuine sustainable success. Look at Mdrid. 80mil on a greasy, Diving hermaphrodite. But nobody bangs on about them. Why??? Maybe because The money City and Madrid spend on these players finance everyone elses deals. Did the massive spending Chelsea did ruin football??? Of course not. It simply enables other clubs to finance thier own deals and clear debts. We should know. At that time we were in around 60mil debt and had to sell SWP. We didn't want to but looking back it made sense. We were able to clear a sizable chunck of debt and Chelsea got the player they wanted. (Even if they never used him) Do people expect the worlds richest club to sit back and spend nothing??? Remaining a mid table club instead of doing everything they can to enable themselves a crack at sustained success??? Lets face it. If the shoe was on the other foot, clubs like Everton, Villa, Spurs, infact all other clubs would do exactley the same. Probably not as respuctfull as we do. So please guys, get off our backs and if anything get behind us. No disrespect is aimed whatsoever at Everton. The wonderful Real family club it is. With some of the best suporters in the game. But let's be honest. City are the only club in the position to break the so called "BIG4" and stay there. Don't be sucked in by The pathetic media, who whip you all up into a frenzy with no real evidence. Use your own eyes and you will find City are presenting themselves honourabley. And have nothing to be ashamed of.
  13. Ha Ha Ha. Yeah. Mr Fantastic wuold struggle
  14. Unfortunatley mate i think you're spot on there. I think he started to believe the hype a little too much. Teenage kids with silly money and nobody to keep his head out of the clouds is a recipe for disaster. I've also heard the binge drinking rumors aswell. He sufferd a pretty nasty abdominal injury not long into the last campaign, and we heard nothing until we were all amazed to see this bloated meat-head in a night club pissed out of his face. Aparantly there are reports he's got a pretty terrible attitude. I don't think he's a lost cause by any means. He neads to take a leaf out of Stephan Irelands book. When all his team mates were sunning themselves on beaches in the off season, Stevie was Running up hills in Glossop and doing some pretty intense martial arts training so he's razor sharp for the new season. Johnson just needs someone to put his arm around him, have a sensible word in his ear. And set him back on the right path.
  15. Sorry mate...My bad..just a jest. He is a class manager (but he really does look like gollum )
  16. 1. Vladmier Wiess (future of our right side, Academy product) 2. Nedum Onouha (City through and through, Academy product) 3. Shaun Wright Pillips (Already a City Legend, Academy product) 4. Michael Johnson (top class CM, Academy product) 6. Micah Richards (when this guy reaches his full potential he will be one of the best defenders in the world, Academy product) 7. Stephan Ireland (with all the world class signings, he is STILL our best player, Best young player last season anywhere by a mile. Ash Young beating him in the YPotY award was a joke. He will be our captain in the coming years, Academy product!!! There is a hell of a lot for City fans to be proud of. From the very start our new owners realised we had the best youth acadamy in the country (probably in Europe). The very first thing they did was pump Millions into it. They said from the begining they want a mix of Established World class players and home grown wonderkids. And thats what theyre getting. The owners know how much of a family club we are. And it's one of the big atractions to them. I can imagine from the outside it may look like we are losing our "SOUL" or something....but believe me. We arent. They are always throwing fun little family days and Making sure our big stars do thier bit for the local comunity. Season card prices have been frozen for the second year in a row. They do it Because they can afford it. We Havent changed. Only envious eyes have made others look at us diferently. (This reply is in no way a dig at you atall mate
  17. As for the Lescott Transfer...Sorry chaps, but i think you have missed the boat. If Golam hadn't been so gready you would have got 22mil for a player worth about 12mil. He was much to concerned with saving face and keeping hold of "His Precious" He has every right to reject any bid for any of his players, of course he does. But was that REALLY in EFC's best intrest??? Now you are stuck with someone who wanted to leave. Who would have trippled his wages (About 10mil in 5 years), Which will surely piss him right off. And who would have been at a club in a position to become one of the biggest in the world. Don't get me wrong. Everton is a great club to be at, but as much as you may disagree (which is your right ) But they are not in the same position as City to break the big time.
  18. Mate if you think Everton can make that "next big step up" to be a top 4 regular (and not just reach 4th once in a decade just to be dumped out of the champions league in the group stages)with good old hard work, Comitment, Togetherness, Great fans and afairly decent team. Then i'm sorry pal but it just isn't gunna happen. As lamentable as it is, it takes RIDICULOUS amounts of money to make a squad capable of a sustained push at the top. Things have changed since the likes of Beckham, Giggs, Scholes made United the team they have become. Unfortunatley I don't think we will ever see a club do the likes of that ever again. Not at a sustained level anyway. Everton deserve to be a world force, Chalenging for the very highest honours in my opinion. Simply for the fantastic fan base. Same as City, Newcastle, Sunderland and Pompey. We at City have had guys like your United fan mate (Utd not even being a flaming Manchester club) rubbing thier success in our faces for over 30 LONG YEARS!!! If anyone expects us citizens to apologise for being a bit unbarable and a bit OTT now that the worm seems to have turned. Then sorry mate but were well within our rights, Prehaps even more than we are being right now. If that makes us unpopular, So be it. You Toffee lads would be exactly the same if you were in our shoes. I know full well the red fans of LFC have been lording it over you for at least 20 years....all those Europen cups, Perenial top4 achievers. One of the most recognised clubs in the world, able to attract players like Torres. If you were in our shoes. You'd let em ave it BIG TIME. And so you should Imagine however. LFC fans giving you all the stick they have.....and get this.....NOT EVEN BEING FROM LIVERPOOL!!! Only then can you see where City fans are coming from.
  19. Sorry Bill mate but the CTID on Bluemoon is not me. I only signed on there for the first time last night. I'm on there as BlakeTheBlue. The first post i put was about how i'm not sure we really need JL. I think Richards is better that him and Onouha has potential to be better than both. Although i would like to see a new top class CB at city, I'd prefer to see Hangeland, Alex or Luizao. I've seen some jokers on here saying how they think Lescott is worth 30mil. Give it a rest lads. He's probably wort around 12mil tops. I also said my piece on the diference between good old fasion Manc/Scouse banter, and simply being a foul mouthed over the top cock P.s. CraccerC. You say you don't have anything against city, other than what they are doing to football..... What exactly are City doing to football that you deem so awfull???
  20. I've never been on the bluemoon forum. There are other city ones i prefer. I'll give it a miss froem what you lads say. Unfortunatley my beloved City has it's fair share of Tossers since we got a bit of cash and the great players that inevitabley provides. They need to realise we still havent done anything yet. It'll be a long road. As for the Manc/Scouse Rivalry....Sorry lads but thats been going on much longer than you or I. And will be around for many a long year yet. Besides there's nothing wrong with a bit of regional banter Downright rudeness and Making things personal however is a different matter. I like the banter. But i'm no scouse hater. Especialy not against you Toffee's. You wear the right colour after all (even if it is the wrong shade) LOL . If These Ric and Damocles twats are as sad as you say, Then just ignore the Nobs.
  21. OK. Where to start :-) First. thanks for all your Replies to my little post. I go around every prem league clubs fan forums getting a feel for where other teams fans are at right now. So please don't think i'm trying to have a pop at you Toffee lad's, I'm not. Just yesterday i was at a Chelsea forum (they were a lot less kind than you fine folk). Fulham tomorrow. A few really good posts. Especially Philinlondon. The reason i say City deserve the success is because of it's Truely amazing fan base. We have taken all kind's of shit down the years. None less than from the Plastic Mancs from Trafford. Not many clubs would have got 35,000 fans every match in the 3rd teer of English football. I could only imagine a couple. Everton, Newcastle, Sunderland, (Liverpool wether we like it or not). Clubs with what i would call proper fans. Villa? Arsenal? Utd? Chelsea? I doubt it. But we have been rewarded with so staggeringly little. The odd promotion to cheer about....Great! So of course (in my humble opinion) We deserve our time to suckle at the otherwise unreachable prem league Titty. I agree totaly that a club "should" be rewarded for hard work, honest graft and long term building. But lets be honest with ourselves. That unfortunatley, is not the way football works in this day and age. A great club like Everton when coming up against the established big 4, Might be able to finish 4th on the odd occasion. Maybe reach a couple of Domestic cup finals. Even lift a couple of trophies. But Win the Prem league? Or the Champ League? Unfortunatley not (and i emphasise Unfortunatley). City however are now in the genuine position to do it. prehaps not immediately like some crazy top flight managers and some pot stiring bookmakers believe. But we will in a few seasons be top 4/5 regulars chalenging for top honers. thats why i say ya'll should get behind us. It takes Money. And ridiculous amounts of it. To be able to make a "sustained" challenge on the top spots, and the big titles. I don't agree City and Madrid have inflated the market for everyone else. They've simply inflated the market for City and Madrid. If Spurs or Villa had bid for Lescott, and City were never involved. Do you think he would be valued as high as he is? Maybe, but i seriously doubt it. The fact is Everyone who has ever had real sustained success has thrown crazy money around to get there. Arsenal prehaps being the genuine exception. So why are City any different? We are just doing what others have done. And from a weaker starting position than the likes of Chelsea. So inevitabley it will cost silly money to get the best players. Anyway on the player this thread is about. I still think he will join City. But honestly, I'm not sure we really need him. Is he any better than Richards? He's probably actually not as good when both are playing at thier very best. Onouha will be fantastic in the next couple of seasons too. We just want him so we have a great squad. So thanks for listning and commenting. Hope you guys have a great season. Could reach the top4 yourselves if things go your way. And remember, Its football, It's not a matter of life or death. It's much more serious Take care chaps......
  22. But when he starts bringing the attention of the media to where he is, dressing up in massive gold chains, flouncing his cash wastefully whilst the local drive around quietly in their Bentleys surely he can't expect to be popular? I can't see why that would get peoples backs up?
  23. Ok. I know i'll get the predictable barrage of abuse city fans seem to get every where now. But let me just ask. If you have a player that blatantly wants to play for another club (irregardless of how long he has left on his contract). Why in the hell would you even want to keep him? It seems people are 100% against City breaking the top 4. WHY? If there is one club in the country that deserves the good fortune we are now enjoying, surely it's us! You should all be happy for us. But all we get is Bile spewed at us from every direction. All based on fear (on behalf of the "Established" top 4), And Envy (every other Prem league club, Especially Everton, Villa, Spurs Etc). Another thing that bugs me is all this Hughes bashing????? I simply DON'T get it. You say he tries to bully clubs and acts disrespectfully in regards to our transfer policy. How so? Have any of you actually heard the way he deals with questions directed towards him concerning possible transfer targets? He wouldn't even say Lescotts name in a recent interview because he isn't our player. His exact words were "we have had two bids rejected for the player, and thats where we stand". How in the hell is that "Disrespectful"??? Moyes (who i rate as a very good manager) says it's "disrespectful" not to "phone" a fellow manager about a possible transfer. Thats just not how we do things at City. We do things through official channels. That way everything is above board. We are well within our right to put as many bids as we wish for any player. Just as the owning club has every right to turn those offers down. The fact is Moyes REALLY wants to keep Lescott, But knows the player prefers to talk to City. Plus Everton are skint. So in the interest of his club. He will eventually give in at a reasonable price (£22M)
