  1. Great news, looks like our flirtation with the Championship is gonna continue for the foreseeable future!
  2. In a word no. Without meaning to sound too despondent i think we still have a lot of poor results to come this season. The win against Charlton was good but lets not get carried away, it was only Charlton at home at the end of the day. Charlton are piss poor this season. As long as we stick to playing Arteta in the middle with Cahill we have a chance to make some kind of progress. We need to stop playing dross like McFadden and Bent who are simply awful and hopefully bring in someone who can play during the January Transfer Portal.
  3. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ham/4590296.stm Same old story
  4. Strange as that was the reason we bought him in the first place?
  5. Make your mind up mate, in the first line you say he is, then you go on to say you don't believe what you heard. Sounding a bit hotel/motel yourself mate! And No, if anyone can do it McFadden definitly can't.
  6. Exactly mate. Count our blessings that the likes of BT,Arteta,Cahill,Yobo,Hibbert are all fit and well (touches large piece of wood).
  7. Hi mate, 53 yeah? We seem to be inspired by the fighting spirit of Cahill at last. Long may it continue!!
  8. Welcome to Toffee talk , nice to see some ladies in here for a change
  9. Kroldrup has a sprained ankle at the momment which he sustained against Villa, don't think he will make the Millwall match. Ferrari and Yobo did alright yesterday, i would stick with them for the Lions if I were Moyes.
  10. Just a thought as i can't really see him fitting into the side. He seems a bit lightweight to be a PL centre back? Could he be the most expensive defender that never was?
  11. Who gives a flying fuck we hammered them 3-1 COYB!
  12. Well done Tim much more like it. We are winning 3-1 at the mo COYB!!

  14. Merry Christmas , Hope 2006 is year to remember for all the right reasons !
  15. You know when people talk about the dark days of walter smith, are we currently in a similar era? I can remember some awful performances when Smith was in charge and our current form reminds me of many of those times. I think we scored more goals under Walter as well which is worrying beyond belief. Are we doooommmed? Hope not COYB!!
  16. Don't worry bout it mate we will get that back when we sell Bent to Charlton!
  17. Wee'rre Doooooooooooomed i tell thee (Again in the voice of private Fraiser)
  18. Worst performance i have witnessed this season i think. We didn't seem capable of keeping possession of the ball which is a very basic skill required to win a football match. Kilbane, Osman, Weir and Bent were dreadful last night and i think i may cry if i see Bent wearing the Royal Blue again. Beattie took his goal well but still seems slow of the mark and hardly a 20 a seasoner. Weir had a nightmare. Would anyone please explain the Per Koldrup situation to me? This is fast becoming a 5 million pound farce.
  19. Everytime i have been to Old Trafford for the Everton Games we have out-sung the scum by a mile.
  20. Bent was a fucking disgrace when he came on, he really does look completly dis-interested in playing for us, and what about that pass in the last minute, Jesus wept. Well done lads , a spirited performance which could have been 3 points had we had a decent frontline. Davies looked good on the counter but our front men were poor today. Defence was great today with Nuno V impressing for me. Bring on the Hammers!
  21. He played alright against the Skunks but i would hardly describe it as a 'sparkling' performance for fucks sake lol ! Had a couple of good efforts and should have finished better
  22. Don't say you weren't warned 24 November 2005 How much longer can this ridiculous situation be allowed to go on? Who else other than Bill Kenwright would allow a club of Everton's size to be run by the worst manager we have ever had and simply sit back and allow it to happen? I think now even the most loyal in the Moyes camp must be fearing the worst. How can they defend him after what's gone on the past twelve months? We don't just lose by the odd goal any more: it's fours, fives and sevens... The basics of football are quite simple: put the fucking ball in the other side's net. If you can't, you're fucked. Does any one out there still think Moyes is the Messiah who can lead us to the promised land? Who the fuck put us in this position in the first place? Does anyone think I enjoy having to endure this endless misery we are all going through? What I try to say is that there are too many head-in-the-sand Evertonians out there at the moment and it's got to stop. Poor tactics, poor signings, very poor man-management skills... Davey Moyes has got the lot. Wayne Rooney: the best young player in the world — first name on England's and Man Utds team sheet — was not good enough to start for Davey's Dynamos. When people ask, "Who could do a better job?", I say anyone could improve on four goals in twelve games. Give Bobby Robson a call. If he agrees to take the job on, give him an understudy like Dave Watson who understands what Everton are all about. It's only an idea but we need something soon or Davey will take us down with him. If Moyes had any feelings for this club or its fans he would do us all a favour and chuck his hand in. We can't go on like this. Does any one really want to let him loose with more money in January? If we have got any left that is... All I ask is this: If we are going down, let's go fighting. Play some attacking football with some pride and have a fucking go at teams. Sitting back and waiting to get tonked is no way to play when things are this desperate. Defend Moyes if you must but don't go crying when the Grim Reaper calls. Tony Marsh (What you guys think?)
