Apparently Nice is close to securing a loan for Depay.
thought Utd only wanted to sell, cant see him going on loan, Jose said already if he stays he will play.
-
Yep that same one. Talented as fuck... I watched him many a time and the game was almost too easy for him. Freakish ability.
"I have played with some of the best strikers, and I can tell you Mario has all the attributes to be one of the best strikers in the world." - Andrea pirlo
it depends what one you get, if the lad actually applied himself he would be some player, his talent is there just attitude sucks for that I cant see it happening.
-
Even though the main reason we struggle at the back is because we have an ageing slow defence that can't push up high. Would be furious if we signed another old slow defender. Not slating him he's a quality player, just not the player for us.
And just whilst I'm on the topic Jim White is a wanker. At least be a wanker and be liked, such as Durham!
if we sign him it just shows we are not getting our real targets

at that price its a no from me, but would have loved to see him here.
would love him here would have loved to have had a gamble when he left Utd was around 10 mill?
-
Simple fact is Paul, we shouldn't be giving West Brom any sniff of a chance. If Utd want 24 then just pay it, get the lad in and move on to the next target.
It's this contant wrangling by us that drives me fucking insane. You never hear of us bidding for a player and buying them in a day or so like every other club seems to do it turns into a circus and is all over every media outlet. Everton haggle over base line fee, Everton can't agree on sell on/add ons, Everton would prefer a loan with option to buy.
It's shambolic it really is but I supposed more fool me for thinking now Moshiri was here those days would be over.
I could understand us stalling or negotiating over a Lookman but Schneiderlin is an important crucial first team player who we are crying out for.

heard a few people saying he's slow, very similar to Gareth Barry... is this true?
more McCarthy than Barry but not electric pace
-
I dont think there was a boat to miss tbh. He wanted to work with Koeman, it was that simple.
I think at the time we where more attractive, he still wants to work with Koeman but wont pick us over City. (not apples with apples I know)
-
Agree with everyone here - would be a great signing for us and add real strength to our backline and be a perfect partner for Williams.
-
Would love him here, if Swans sell probably means relegation for them so cant see it unless he forces the issue.
-
This has transfer deadline day move all over it sadly but hopefully think he would be good for us.
-
His missus makes him wear jackets with her face on the back of it, nothing to do with his footballing abilities mind, just thought I'd point out this useless information.
whats wrong with that, I thought everyone done that so my wife said anyway
-
plus ross isn't a whining bitch who tries to get fouls every 5 seconds. I honestly think wilshere is my least favorite player in the league, means well probably get him now.
Hope so just for this :-)

I watched that rumour meter thing a lot in the summer...it's the biggest heap of shite idea I've seen in transfer coverage so far!!!
if that was to believed in the summer we would be a team of superstars!
-
thought this would go when Martinez left!
-
£24m isn't a huge amount these days. United are playing hardball - which is irritating considering the fact that he has stagnated there.
irritating but well within there rights and probably doing the right thing for themselves they had huge outlay in the summer so trying to claw back as much as they can (I know wages plays into this)
-
We should have had him in for Leicester match - result probably would have been different and worst case he would be a match into his career ahead of City. Throwing in a player against City that has not even done a full week of training with his new club could kill us. I can understand Koeman's frustrations and if we don't bring in at 4 first team players for Jan I fear for Koeman's long term future with us.
-
as said previously we missed the boat when he left Celtic
-
no one is saying he is bad, and would he get in our team probably yes. however is he one of the best defenders in the league I dont think so.
-
agreed think he will go to Utd
-
If Stones was £50 million then Van Dijk will not be far off that.
I imagine Keane and Gibson will each cost between £20 to £25 million.
I would love Van Dijk here but even with our new found wealth he will go to a Champs League club.
have to agree and agree we should be aiming higher than Keane and Gibson aswell.
-
Fonte handed in transfer request interesting times!
-
always mooted as the next big thing, the fact he never moved on says it all. doubt he is better than what we already have.
-
I'm happy to give Robles a go for the rest of the season although wouldnt say no To Heaton or Forster
Still think its an area we need to strengthen, neither keeper instils me with confidence especially given our back 4 are not rock solid
-
think this will be done before EOW, needs time to settle plus he hasn't played match for sometime so will need time to come upto speed, thankfully he wont need to adapt to Koemans style!. excited by this deal him and Gana will be a solid pairing in the middle hopewe pull it off. Agree think 22.5 will be the price aswell!
