  1. Yeah, coleman's been brilliant. Hibbert was good first half, but it's just gone downhill. EDIT: Also, yakubu's just been miserable.
  2. Of course he dived and I agree therefore it wasn't a penalty. I just think it's interesting to think what would've happened had he stayed on the ground; in a sense the dive didn't even help him because he would have been awarded the penalty anyway.
  3. That was an interesting penalty decision actually. It was clearly a blatant dive from ngog, but you have to wonder whether it was a penalty deserving tackle. For instance, if ngog had not just been so overly excited and stayed on the ground it would have definitely been a foul. I think he definitely dived, but there is truth to the fact that he was trying to hurdle the tackle to avoid injury. If he hadn't dived it clearly would have been a foul regardless.
  4. No. Our win was not particularly impressive and it was against a (now) bottom three team. Sure, it was a step in the right direction, but it's not a title run. Think about it this way. Last year we had all the players healthy (except jags at the very end) and we played well and finished 5th, but well outside of the top 4.
  5. Yes. Exactly what we needed, a hard fought scrappy victory. Well done!
  6. Just please, please, please don't repeat the early second half of villa =/.
  7. This is true, we probably wouldn't have conceded on Saturday had Jags been there, since we had about 40 chances to get the ball out of the box.
  8. Of course. Nothing can prevent injuries from getting hacked at in games. That just happens. It's unlucky, but we couldn't prevent it.
  9. Personally I'd prefer Arteta. The better possession and play making we have the harder it is for our opponents to create chances, thus indirectly helping the defense. In addition, I think we're really having trouble up top. Against Villa at least, all our balls in the final third were just going over the top or just sloppy touches, we really needed some composure.
  10. I agree with this, except even though yakubu may have had a high work rate, it still wasn't exactly the best game for him. I personally would have started saha up top with him. Our defense hasn't been top notch recently and aston villa has some quick players up top, I can't see us getting the clean sheet against them. I'd rather have tried to push and go for more than just a one goal game.
  11. Did he already get a yellow, I must have missed that when my internet wasn't working. He really does then, came dangerously close.
  12. Arteta rumored to be soon, no news on pienaar.
  13. Cahill's doing well controlling the midfield, but we're playing really sloppily in the final third. Either just booting it in or taking terrible touches.
  14. http://www.freedocast.com/forms/PopOut.aspx?sc=532A428E31D42145109A Spanish commentators, pretty bad quality, but it works.
  15. Fellaini is play decently though, which I haven't thought recently.
  16. Wow guys. I mean, that attack was ridiculous, so many chances to get it out.
  17. Lots of other goals elsewhere too. Liverpool draw even, sunderland pulls one back, and portsmouth scores again. But still, BILLY!!!!!!!!!
  18. Fulham beating liverpool too.
