A better example would be the Red Bulls btw, who have Marquez and Henry, both as wildcards. Donovan is not actually a designated player.
EDIT: nvm, apparently as of 2010 he's considered a designated player. That's a fair example then.
I actually didn't make the connection before, but my friends great-grandfather founded the club. Pretty cool to hear all the good words! I'm sure he would love it if we played them every year...
I know, right? I'm an American and I was hoping with all my might that there would be a strike. It's not like anyone here actually cares about the MLS...
Hmmm, more people agree with me than I thought! Glad to see him getting some credit...I also had completely forgotten he made that tackle to win the penalty, good point Mike.
I think osman was better than he's being given credit for. He wasn't great on the ball, but he was a work horse and just stayed on lampard the entire game. Other than that, I agree with what's been said.
I hate to say it, but I think it's true. I live in the states and I have been unimpressed with Landon for his entire career. Every time he goes abroad he fails and he's honestly not even that good in the MLS. Hopefully playing in the premier league will get that out of him though.
I hate to say it, but I'm extremely confident we will lose. Perhaps if it was a week earlier when Chelsea was flying too high, but they already had their trap game. After hitting it last week they're going to be fully aware this week and will be sure not to slip up.
