Really bad form by the ref, and quite unsportsman like of Nani.
I fairness though, he played to the rules, and as it's been said, you play the whistle so Gomes should have held onto the ball.
Just cements the fact that Nani is twat and that there's no chivalry left in football!

I agree with you Romey...I think Stoke play horrible football and that's actually the reason they're still in the Prem.(as they don't have the quality players to play properly)
There seems to be way too much Stoke in this thread! What's the go?
Applaud them for staying up all you like, but they play some seriously shitty football and that is a fact.

part of me feels sorry for him..he doesn't look comfortable on the wing but looks good in the middle and has scored a few goals..if he got a good run central i think he would do well cos he's got good feet and a sweet as shot!
Agreed. I know it was only 2 goals, but the howitzers against ManU and Pompey were awesome, and I would have liked to see Bily in the middle on the weekend instead of Pienaar...hell, throw him up front! Looks to be a better shot than Beckford...

Someone mentioned Timmy being shit from set peices...they might want to check out his stats for clearances from set peices cause I remember him doing a hell of a lot of clearances last year from corners.

After watching the replay(on Liverpool TV no less!

I think we'll try to get Donovan in as we'll be without Cahill for a bit next year due to the Asian Cup...I know he's a winger for us, and does really replace Cahill, but you want to bring in quality when you're loosing quality. As well as that, Landycakes can play as a forward anyway, and we've got Coleman on the wing for now.
