  1. how predictable that it is newcastle after our manager, why dont they go get some of their own ideas instead of always nicking ours and then throwing more money at them than we can.

he wont leave, loyalty is a big thing for him and we were loyal to him earlier in the season and he will repay it back to us. i think a 'why would i want to join a smaller club...' line is in order from you publicly moysey

  2. i thought forlan was good at man utd, maybe not at the very beginning but once he settled i thought he should be in the first team, never really gt a proper chance and so showed what hes made of at villereal and it wasnt suprising, why didnt we take a £2m gamble on him back then. Now he would cost £5m+ but still well worth it in my opinion if we cant get Johnson.

I did want Robbie Keane but thats not gona happen now.

  3. lucky u lot. i signed up for sky sports via telewest broadband, couldnt wait to see extended highlighted of the game every week...oh dear the red button doesnt work on telewest, only on sky digital. so all i get is game of the week which is man u ars or liverpool. great!

  4. agreed, in an ideal world we would build a super stadium all coloured in blue but that is gona cost £100m +. Arsenal are finding out how much you have to tighten the belt to make it happen. also land of that size is v hard to come by in the city.

sharing a ground with the shite might not be as an attractive option but it makes a lot more financial sense, every cost halved and yet we still make the same revenue from ticket sales and pie sales (cheers beats).

Seems to have worked pretty well for the milans and although my first choice would be develop Goodison i am not opposed to the idea of ground sharing provinded every thing was split 50/50 and at least some of the seats are blue

  5. i have chosen not to believe this story because it makes efc look like absolute idiots. surely we didnt pay over £5m for the wrong player, that would be ludicrous. koldrup has a v good rep throughout europe, didnt graveson give him his seal of approval when he moved?

the whole koldrup thing does seem to be a bit weird though, if it was true, no wonder we are always skint!

  6. thats outrageous. the lowest of the low. im not sure which is worse, throwing cups of piss on to the oposing fans below you or trying to overturn an ambulance with an obviously very injured player in it.

please never let Everton fans stoop so low. you cant control what your fellow supporters do i guess and then it gives everyone a bad name

  7. Hibbo is suspended for this one so someones gota fill in at right back. i think weir and stubbs should stay in the centre, theyve had 2 weeks rest and they look just as solid as last season. yobon and ferrari will have to wait for their chance. in the mean time i dont think we have a problem, either could fill in at right back or theres always neville if carsley is ready for a midfield role

  8. Good old Wally Smith has been picking the Scotland squad this week for their upcoming friendly against Switzerland.

I cant believe that he has again picked Shaun Maloney over Kris Boyd. Boyd is the top scorer in the SPL with 19 goals and looks the businessI think while Maloney is a bit part player from Celtic who scores the odd penalty against Forfar when they play in the Carling cup. Smith stated 'I think its a bit early for the lad (Boyd) to be involved.' Too early for what? Scotland havent got a decent striker (except Faddy), why are they leaving him out.

Makes me glad Wally is a distant memory to us blues.

  9. i dont think we have been riding our luck, quite the opposite in fact. how many disallowed goals have we had. in the last game against blackburn there were 3 of them and we had our keeper sent off, yet still we grind out a result. that shows the organistaion and determination of the team even when the luck is going against us.

  10. this new format makes even more of a mockery of the UEFA cup than it was before.

there is a race in the league to qualify for this competition but dont worry if u dont, we'll put u in a match one on one and who ever wins can go in to the UEFA anyway. even if u lose, we'll try and find a place for u somewhere!

saying that though, if thats the case i say go for it, why not :)

  11. i remember the 2nd half of the Wimbeldon game. I was 16 and it was my first day at my new Staurday job at Burger King in Kingston. I must have finished at 4pm cos i remember finding out we were 2-1 down at half time.

standing on the platform at kingston station when Horne (ohhhhhhh Horne!) scored a screacher, everyone must have thought i was mad as they probabaly didnt realise i had headphones in and it was before the mobile phone days. some crazy kid jumping up and down for no reason going a bit mad.

  12. we COULDNT turn down £2.5m for bent, too good an offer. sounds like koldrup wanted to go too reading the reports. it leaves us very short in the centre half position and on strikers. a few more injuries could be disatarous, we'll end up feilding half the youth team.

moysey you had best get looking for some quality to bring in and quick

  13. i do agree, it should be on tv, espec as we nearly done em earlier this season. but when they decided who would be on tv, it could have been millwall playing chelski (although that would be a good game too) and so they chose arsenal vs bolton instead bearing in mind that bolton beat them earlier this season. shame as it would have made a good day done the pub if both were on
