I've always loved this,
-
The problem is he is going to take our best players with him to Utd, yes we'll get lots of money for them but we'll be left with about 25% of our players as new comers trying to play with a shrinking set of regulars.

If we are going to use 'old' designs can we please have the Black Watch design again? It has not been used for over 100 years after all and it must be time to revive it.
This would look so good seeing the team emerge from the dugouts at Goodison wearing this!

Excellent choices but I do think Sheedy deserves a place.Southall (Wales)
Thomsen (Denmark)
Van Den Hauwe (Belgium)
Tal (Isreal)
Pistone (Italy)
Alexandersson (Sweden)
Arteta (Spain)
Amokachi (Nigeria)
Kanchelskis (Ukraine)
Radzinski (Poland)
Yakubu (Nigeria)

Myhre (Norway)
Bilic (Croatia)
Nyarko (Ghana)

Very slight thread drift, when was the last time we finished ahead of Liverscum 2 years on the trot?
-
To be honest I'm not even confident we could beat Reading now!One point isn't bad. If we keep our heads and beat the up-coming teams like QPR and Sunderland we'll wrap up Europe.

I first discovered this song last year but hadn't listened to it for ages. Yesterday morning when I woke up I had a sudden desire to listen to it again and I just haven't stopped!

Dire, dire, dire!
We spent the opening 30 minutes just looking to see what level Wigan were at and by 35 minutes were 3 - 0 down.
Are we only playing with 10 men?
-
OK, only three games in the league.
Sorry.....
-
With all 4 of our league fixtures in March at home could this be the time to cement our claim for 4th place and Europe?
-
There's really nothing to say that hasn't already been mentioned
Not even going to watch highlights later, poor performance, european cup soccer all but over and even a UEFA cup place in some doubt, but there's still every chance of progression in the FA cup but not if playing as we did today. I've been saying for as long as I can remember that Moyes can do no more, and today was just another illustration of this. Some fat fuck scored a couple of goals including some late winner and I hope the local rustics and shit kicking yokels enjoyed their victory today, but won't be doing much once again. Some other teams in the vicinity got points today just to add insult to injury and all said, just another lacklustre performance and poor outcome against some opposition we should be beating, regardless of venue. I thought a few weeks ago the opportunity was there this season to get something out of this year, but it's in danger of a total collapse. Oldham may well be quietly confident about the replay, and we always mess up against that opposition in cup competition. Just a feeling of anger, frustration, predictability, disappointment, it was all those things. When Moyes decides to quit fucking around and make his intentions clear in that he declares he will leave at end of season, there'll be no tears this end. Thanks for the good times and finishes of recognition, but I do believe I've seen enough now.

Will we even finish in the top half of the table this season, never mind 4th place for Europe?
-
I think we should be pleased with todays result, both Spurs, Arsenal and The Shite only drew whereas we managed to take all 3 points. Can we carry the momentum on to Saturday home against Villa?
-
0-0

According to the BBC Fellaini's contract includes a £22 million release clause.
-
When we scored on 2 minutes against Chelsea we lost 2 - 1 so as Newcastle scored on 2 minutes they should lose this one.

Billy Dean because of the legend he created for himself but from my early years as a Toffee it would have to be a choice of either Ratcliffe, Southall, Reid, Cottee or Sheedy.
I think Southall!
-
Is that the fastest goal scored in the Prem... football league this season?
-
<sigh>
Not confidant about this at all.
I was really feeling we could possibly finish even top 3 this season but losing to teams such as Reading does put a dampner on things.
-
If we go and lose this, what chance do we have of even a top half finish this season?
-
Being quick, there are actual places called Everton in Arkansas, Indiana and Texas, and may be some others yet to come to the fore. And wasn't it Andrew Gray who said the above bit and not Reid ? I.E. (Gray) "It didn't matter if we went behind, we had such confidence in ourselves, that we'll score two" etc.
And in Hampshire, UK not New Hampshire or whatever the Americans might call the place!
-
Reading haven't managed a victory at all so far this season, a must win surely?
-
We started the season well but I think this game shows we'll be finishing 8 or 9th, some good games, some bad, a distinctly average season.
-
Fulham, away. After the draw at Liverpool (and QPR and Wigan before) can we hope for a victory here or play safe for another draw?

I like, certainly better than I was fearing!
