  1. He has changed a fair few aspects of his game which I think has made him a better keeper. To break into the CSKA at 17 and keep his place speaks volumes to me. Picking up league titles and a Uefa cup on the way.

Keepers tend to mature a lot later and become more complete

Courtois is a good keeper and should do well at Athletico Madrid and given his age he does look a more rounded individual than most young keepers.

i dick about with the odd thing but i'm more of a fixer than a maker to be honest...if summat breaks then i always try and mend it myself no matter what it is..i love electrical stuff i just enjoy openin things up and havin a mooch inside them! did it at school but it was grim as fuck cos it was just soldering circuit boards and balls like that never actually building anythin of any use..except for a fuse tester which i still use today though!

I have been known to do that. Except when put back together I still have 2 things left, ah well it still works. I have burnt down 8 houses though not sure why laugh.png

  3. They said at half time De Gae had been beated from distance more than anyone in La Liga last year.

I think they are hoping to mould him, if they do they could get 20 years out of him.

Can they afford to mould him? If it takes time and he isnt the complete article surely they need more than that. I had my money on Stekelenburg going there and carrying on the dutch theme and then prob a season or two for De Gea.

I dont think he is bad but I did think Utd aspired to a little more than moulding a keeper, they need one ready for the here and now. I wouldnt want us to sign and play a keeper with potential, every mistake undermines confidence, mistakes in big games even more so. Be interesting to see how picks himself up.

And surely that silly fucking beard has got to go, bum fluff does not constitute a beard young man

  4. why do you say warnock?

i agree about kean and mancini..especially the way city surrendered that lead yesterday and the man is so so negative it's a joke

Shocking isnt it? Spend a fortune on all this attacking talent but so negative. The FA should implement a use it or lose it rule. You play shit football so we are taking Aguero away, you are stopping him fulfilling his destiny and here you go its Robbie Savage in return - or somebody else equally toilet

  5. I live in Bristol now and have seen Maynard play a couple of times, he is a good player, pace, good movement and composure. Bristol City are reluctant to let him go though and certainly wont be selling him to a fellow championship club. without him they are likely to go down.

Last season they stuggled whilst he was injured but upon his return climbed away from the drop zone and he scored plenty

Probably 3-4million to prise him away,

  6. Men and power tools, like women and shoes

I run a sheet metal business so have all manner of guillotines, presses, folders. I find myself making all sorts. Im pretty practical and reuse all the wooden pallets that come in, so far I made the frame for a huge decked area in the garden, a bed for my little un, a tree house and a rabbit hutch.

I would love to build a house one day, all my own work but I reckon it will take about 2 years non-stop

Did you really build that Louis? And why, to burn it? biggrin.png

  7. He isnt shite. His goalscoring record on loan last year was almost a goal every other game 13 in 27 for Levante who finished 14th in La Liga. Playing on his own (as he would for us) strong, holds the ball up well and plays in others.

Granted his stats for Man City were not great but just handfuls of appearances in 3 seasons is hardly a platform for consistency
