In any event, However I feel personally about Liverpool FC, Shankly was a giant amongst men, taken prematurely from us in the Autumn of 1981, and I've read countless tales of him and the sides of the 1960s and 70s. He was a damn fine manager, if not for him Liverpool may never have been the force they were to become, think he took over when they were still second division in the early 1960s or late 50s
 
Stepped down after the 1974 FA cup success over Newcastle United if I remember. He was immense.

I signed it, I don't like West Ham much, their endless 'we won the World Cup in 1966' statement is fucking embarrassing and an insult to the rest of the players that year who helped the national team to a success, but recognize Moore as a player of great stature and an icon in British soccer. Sadly no longer with us, but the man was a giant on the field of play, and while being held in Colombia in 1970 on suspicion of taking some jewelry, kept professional about the whole incident and never faltered and came out of it with his head held high and still put on another superlative display in mexico for the world cup a few weeks after. True professional if even there was one.
 
If you think it's hard trying to have a chat with West Ham fans, you haven't tried Millwall. I'd stay well away from House of Fun if you're an outside supporter, but they have changed it now and it's members only. But you can still sneak on and register and have a look at discussions. Best to keep quiet and just observe if you're of a rival team though.

I was a bit skeptical about this Naismith kid when we finally got him, and while you can't read too much into pre season games, and the Athens defense appears questionable, quite an impressive start to his Toffees career. Still hoping for a Hibbert 'moment' though.

Is this the same fool who exposed himself at Goodison a year or two ago, pulled down his pants and exposed his ass at the Gwladys Street End not so long ago, I remember something like this clearly. It's not so much that, although a bit of a juvenile act, but not really a player I would like to see here. The kids seems to have a tendency for agressive behavior and wild acts and I just don't think appropriate for us. Let someone else have him.
