Manager's Flaws

Moyes epitomises the stereotypical 'British' manager. Determined, hard-working, loyal, principled, wheeler-dealer, great motivator and by association a good man to bring through youth because he understands their mind.

Negatives being he's not as cultured in football terms, is an ex-player not a career coach so doesn't understand/implement the major technical and tactical theory, favours consistency over brilliance (Both positive and negative).

However I think a lot of people are being unfair. Playing the 4-4-1-1 is not a negative approach. On attack Cahill is nearly as advanced as a striker. Playing the 4-4-1-1 is the right way in my opinion, Cahill has way too much quality to be on the bench.

However where he is negative is in the build-up, or rather not scolding Tony Hibbert and Joey Yobo for their hoofball.

Overall, David Moyes is still my God.

He is hard working

He is determined

Loyal to the club

Doesn't take crap from anyone

Has a decent record with young players

Can spot a very good bargain ie Arteta, Bent, Pienaar and Cahill

Excellent at installing belief and togetherness to the players, as a unit.

So there you Duncan, hope that helps lol.
