MikeO
Approaching a third of the way into the season I got to thinking how's it going to end up? My prediction... 1...Arsenal 2...ManU 3...Chelsea 4...Blackburn (impressive against the top teams and no Euro distraction) 5...Liverpool (but only just, two man team this year instead of one) 6...Everton 7...Portsmouth (won't quite sustain their form for the whole season) 8...Man City (let down by away form) 9...West Ham 10..Villa 11..Spurs (have to start performing at some point) 12..Newcastle (no defence, nothing changes) 13..Reading (have enough at home) 14..Middlesbrough 15..Fulham 16..Sunderland 17..Bolton 18..Wigan 19..Birmingham 20..Derby Whattaya think? Have a go and there'll be a major prize for whoever gets the most correct....or more likely there won't .

zequist
Oh, what the heck... 1) Man U (think they'll edge out Arsenal's youth...this year) 2) Arsenal 3) Chelsea 4) Liverpool (in the 87th minute of the last game of the season Garrard falls down in the box, claims it was the defender's bad breath that knocked him over, the ref awards a penalty, and Liverpool convert to win 1-0 and edge B'burn for 4th by one point) 5) Blackburn 6) Everton (what their form will be like in April and May after this marathon season is the million-dollar question) 7) Portsmouth 8) Man City (can't possibly keep this pace up, can they?) 9) Aston Villa 10) West Ham 11) Newcastle (at least they're still scoring more than they give up, which is more than can be said for the 9 teams I have below them) 12) Fulham (bottom half is mediocre enough that they could push for the top ten if they learn how to play with a lead - I've already lost count of how many they've blown so far) 13) Tottenham 14) Reading 15) Sunderland 16) Birmingham 17) Bolton (mark your calendars now...April 19 will be Bolton vs. Boro in the Jobquest derby) 18) Boro (averaging 1 goal per game and giving up 2 per game is generally a recipe for relegation) 19) Wigan 20) Derby (be sure to collect your 50 million pound consolation prize on the way back to the Championship)
Ex-Pat-Sefton
Beware! I'm usually good at this. 1. ARSENAL (deserve to be top as they play the most attractive football) 2. MAN UTD 3. CHELSEA 4. BLACKBURN (looking quite solid this year) 5. ASTON VILLA 6. LIVERPOOL (Jammy! they'll deserve to finish about 8th but with refs on side will be further up the table). 7. EVERTON (depends on how we do when African Nations Cup is on) 8. MAN CITY 9. PORTSMOUTH 10. NEWCASTLE 11. WEST HAM 12. TOTTENHAM 13. READING 14. SUNDERLAND (had a bit of bad luck but I like the look of that Jones lad, great header of the ball). 15. BIRMINGHAM 16. FULHAM (dont like 'em but they'll prob stay up). 17. MIDDLESBROUGH (again might just scrape through). 18. BOLTON (may end up 4th bottom but I dont like them so hope they go down). 19. WIGAN 20. DERBY (arent they relegated yet).
