derek2222_ie Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 Hi All Was just looking for a bit of advice. My Dad is a life long Toffee but has never had an opportunity to go to Goodison. I am trying to organise a suprise trip over for him and was looking to find out the best way to go about getting tickets for a game. Also any advice on cheap accomodation for a couple of nights would be appreciated. Cheers Derek Quote
jacko 1990 Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 http://www.lastminute.com/site/travel/hotels/ and Evertonfc.com then click on Ticket Information. Quote
MikeO Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 Like Jacko said the official site is the place to get the tickets, you'll get the best available seats in your chosen section. Best place for a hotel is down by the docks imo, the two I've used are..Travel Lodge here..>>>HERE<<< and the Campanile which I can't find a direct link to, but there are many. Quote
Louis Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 We should be a travel agency at this rate ToffeeTravel.. You've got it in one... Tickets can be bought from official site and I know it sounds cheap but if you use http://www.quidco.com/?search=travelodge to book they'll give you 3.6% percent back. I've found http://www.travelsupermarket.com/ useful in the past aswell. Quote
derek2222_ie Posted January 3, 2008 Author Report Posted January 3, 2008 Hi All Thanks for all the replys, they are greatly appreciated. I have just booked flights over for the Pompey game on the 1st of March. I have also signed up for evertonia membership on the club website. Will this be enough to get me 2 tickets closer to the game. Still looking for accomodation. Cheers Derek Quote
CraccerC Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 for pompey, i would say so mate, should be fine Quote
jacko 1990 Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 im not sure how long the membership takes but if you came over without no accomodation i dont think it would be that hard to find a B&B or hotel! Quote
