Three disallowed goals - were they all for us, if so that is shocking. There was a thread earlier on about disallowed goals - how many this season now !!

Well done Everton and Ruddy a fantastic result ;)

Hey... I just read this...

"I was pretending to be tired but managed eye contact with Mikel so he knew what I was doing and what I wanted...

Is this what he's been doing for the past 6 months?!?!

The 1st Dissall effort was offside...Had Beattie been Greedy & taken himself it would not have been.

THe first goal was NOT offside - BT chested the ball BACKWARDS to cahill - which is allowed. if you play back towards your own goal, as long as their is an opposition goal keeper, then that is not deemed offside.

Alan Hansen and Linekar (MotD) and Andy Gray (Sky-the last word) all thought that it should have been given.

The other two disallowed goals where valid decisions - one was offside and one was a push in the back from Stubbs. BUT...we should have been given a penalty in the second half for an aerial challenge on Arteta - the ROvers defender wnet right over the top of him..

However, if we include those goals in our 'not allowed because' tally, then this year we have had

9 goals disallowed.

Peter Beagrie :D said the same on Sky-Football First that it should have stood, likewise Stubbs' push that really wasnt, he was just holding his position

If he hadn't given the stubbs goal as a push he would have given Beattie as ofside as stopped the goalkeeper from getting across the goal.

I thought that the ball went forward when Beattie chested it down. Bet he wasn't expecting Cahill to nick it off him anyway

The Joy Of football....Looked offside 2 me...Might revisit the tape.

Yep Beattie Chest's on 2 Cahill whom is clearly in a offside postion

What was the Supa pundit's version then?. You No Hansen knows all n that.
