I wouldn't like Distin to leave. To me he has been consistent and him and jags work well together. This might just be me but I prefer him in defence to Heitinga, he is strong, quick and is confident when getting the ball. Give him a contract Moyes and let him see out his career at Everton .

Anichebe, for me. We were weak on the right. Ok, Naismith can defend but going forward he was losing the ball, wasn't quick enough, bad touches.........but when victor came on it changed, we were giving their defence troubles on both sides. Baines also played very well but for me victor made the difference.

Yeah but it was in general. Look at phil jones - 15 mill for a player who played a season for Blackburn. Young - 15 million. Wright Philips to Chelsea 21 million. Carrack to united, barry, milner, lescott the list of over priced English players goes on. I was using Liverpool as an example as they are the most recent. Fletcher to wolves......ok Scottish but you get what I'm saying. If all these players are worth that much then surely a player like felli would be worth twice what we paid for him or more.

I wouldn't want to sell Felli to another English club. Even if they did offer them lot. Would rather we ship him away so we wouldn't have to play against the big man. Henderson - 20 million, Downing - 20 million, CARROLL - 35 million. We should get at least 30 million plus as he is better than ALL them players .

Yeah I know we wouldn't get him in this transfer window, a lot of rumours are gossip but the amount of times we have been linked to him, there must be some truths in it. I would like Eagles at Everton....He reminds me of Gibbo, but not as tactically minded as him. I can remember him playing for Burnley and he impressed me back then....he can hold the ball, take a shot, get in the right places. The only difference is with Gibbo we payed under the odds for him.......with Eagles we would have to pay OVER the odds which isn't worth it.

To be fair, we all know that he is looking into getting rid of Heitinga, he is a good player but Moyes will be looking into other options. Maybe he doesn't play him because he fell out with Moyes. I am concerned myself with how he is being left on the bench, Moyes will be looking to sell him for 6 million and get someone else in. Or loan him out to that turkish club, they were interested in him in the summer weren't they?

I have got a bad feeling about this game. We will go into the game thinking oh Reading haven't won a game yet this will be easy. We will underestimate them and there at home and will have to attack us. I reckon it will be 2-2. Games which we should be winning we aren't. Take the QPR game for instance we made them look like Barcelona at times.

That is exactly it Tricky Trev. The end of last season our defense was unplayable at times. Heitinga and Distin played well together, but for some reason we are letting easy goals in, not going towards the players, giving them loads of space. I do think our attack is good enough to see out the game but if we defend anything like we did in the Wigan, QPR and Liverpool game then I am afraid it will be another draw. Lets hoping I am wrong. Suarez is a cunt. Simple as, dirty player, not a nice person. Clearly went into that tackle aiming to hurt Kev. Then the tackle against Distin, should have been sent off. Gerrard a cunt as well, has anybody heard what he has said about Everton today? Saying we play like Stoke.... Did you get that from Fergie by any chance....If you look on the liverpool website and the statistics. Liverpool long ball passes were a higher percentage than Evertons. Is Hibbo still injured? The formation I would go with is -----Howard---- Neville-----Jagielka---Distin---Baines Mirallas---Osman--Gibson-----Pienaar -----Naismith----------Jelavic------ I know it is unlikely this formation will go ahead or the team. I like Coleman but I think he is better at going forward than defending. Neville as RB for me as I personally think he is better at defending. Everybody on here is slating Neville, OK, he hasn't had the best of games but he is a leader and that's what our team needs. We can't go into this game thinking we are better than them, that we will turn them over.....Like we did in the Wigan game. We need to go into the game respecting our opposition. I just hope we don't go into this game thinking it will be an easy win. QPR are due a win and will be fighting to get it, especially at home. I reckon the score is going to be 1-1 myself.

Yes, Howard has made his fair share of clangers over the years but he should have played him in nets against Leeds. I watched the game and didn't see Mucha once try and organize the team like Howard does. When Leeds scored in the 4th minute against us Howard would have shouted at the defence and get them organized. Mucha just took it, gave the ball back and didn't say a word. What I can remember anyway. It's the presence in the box that Mucha is missing, his overall goalkeeping quality is top notch.

Well yeah......True......I was going from the stats from last season how he played most of it and at the end he was injured. I hope he doesn't spend that much, I think we have a decent team this year, but I don't think we need defenders. We need a midfielder as where a bit weak on legs. If gibson or fellaini got injured we would be stuck really.

I really hope we don't go for this player. We do not need cover for Baines. One he is an absolute machine and will go all season without getting injured and two............He doesn't look that good tbh. Would rather the money went on someone who could play in our team straight away and spending a reported 5 million on an unproven player is ridiculous. The whole reason we got rid of Yobo, Cahill, Rodwell was because of our wage bill so why spend money on a player which will be back up!? While where at it why don't we sign Owen Hargreaves, Owen and Heskey! I hope I am wrong and if we do sign him then and he does well then I will apologise. I just don't see why where spending so much on a defender.
