Haha yeah i do vaguely remember him getting put in goal by Warnock for Sheffield United for the last 15 minutes of a game few year back.

Only knowledge of him is through FM (so not much haha) but must surely be a step up from Mucha so would be pretty pleased if this was true, especially as he's a free agent. Imagine how bad things could get if Howard somehow got injured and we only had Mucha to fall back on...

Agree with this, WBA exposed us a bit at the weekend and we need a strong performance against a Newcastle side who have proved they can hurt even the best sides due to their abundance of match winning players. Controlling the tempo early on is going to be important and Neville in midfield isn't the best way to go about it, if Gibson isn't fit then moving Fellaini back next to Osman would be a better option. Also going to need a good defensive performance to keep Cisse, Ba, etc quiet, another good reason to move Fellaini back a bit if we're minus Gibson.

Hard one to call because so many players where poor or average. Gave it to Howard for that save before half time because its the only outstanding thing i remember one of our players doing all day.

Gave the ball away too easily at times (especially second half), and our passing in the final third was never really good enough to cause them many problems. The few chances we did manage to create where wasted. Hoping to see a bit sharper passing and more attacking intent against Newcastle!
