There is no right or wrong here, only opinion. IMO Dunc is not what some people make him out to be, never been what you could call prolific, reliable, a good example or even a decent human being.

 

I was spoiled with Sharpie, Gray, Lineker,Roger Kenyon, Sheedy, Lyons, Ball, Harvey, Kendall, Royle ........ the list is endless.

 

In the years to come I hope young TT'ers can look back with fonder memories than a 3 month stint in Barlinnie and punching some Austrian because he didn't like what he had to say.

i think your post is a bit late my man, no one is on his back at the moment!

i think since xmas valente has settled well and is really in form, he has grabbed a few assists and his long range passing is superb!

cahill isnt quit as such, hes playing a different role, he was an attacking midfielder/second striker last year. hes deeper now, and sitting back more with neville, while arteta and osman are doin the forward play

foz we know you have no faith or confidence in anythin to do with efc so it comes as no suprise, im sure you critisize if we signed ronaldinho

he did a bit, looked fitter than his last game 4months ago! needs games though

i wouldnt take giggs to be honest, over the hill IMO, stilll got it but not what he used to be. our midfield is strong but 2 or 3 injuries and wer fucked agen..i would take steed

Were on fire at the mo, and we have players coming back to fitness in Naysmith, Carsley, Yobo, Ferrari, VDM and Vaughan. but can they get in the team?

we know the golden oldies are lacking pace, but can yobo an ferrari be as organised?

the first 4 have been great the last few months, can faddy keep his place? can killer get in? or does VDM have the extra ability to get us more goals?

no doubt about faddys ability, just his decision making, when to pass, when to run, but all comes with match practice.

cant write off VDM yet, ok hes been injured most of the time, but he only cost £1m ffs! again, no doubt about his ability, just his fitness. hes only 26 so we could have a very good player on our hands for very little cash! go to you tube and search VDM to see what hes capable of

if only we could get our players in the international teams, they stay faithfull, and attract more quality players!

id take them both, i think as a centre half o'shae is a cracking player, but rio and brown are player well and they just signed 2 new ones could help the deal along. and schwarz is still a reliable keeper

Its a simple truth that england have 1 world class striker in rooney (2 if owens fit) and nobody else to come in behind them.

 

My dark horse if theres going to be one (and i dont think there will btw) is Ashton,a lad in form scoring for fun at the moment,ok got no international experience but the same charge could be leveled at BT,crouch et al.

 

He will take 4 strikers no more..shrek,owen(if fit) crouch and defoe.

 

And i predict the country will go wild with world cup fever lots of cameras in pubs celebrating goals,till it all goes tits up in the quarter finals,because theres no way we'll win it.

i am 100% aginst crouchinho in the england squad, i dont want to see "something different" from my strikers, i want to see goals, and crouch does not cut the mustard! my RS mates even say "hes a decent player, but not good enough for england"

hes not even liverpools best english striker, id take fowler over him anyday!

couldnt see ossies goal from where i was sat, he seemed to keep fallinover, yet he never lost the ball quality! was right next to BTs though, excelent work!

and sorry, Arteta for player of the season for me (how do spain not include him?) with ossie close behind

just got back from the game now, a good result away at a form side.

but what a shit hole! no atmosphere, barely even sang when they were winning! BT was unlucky at the end, im happy with it though!
