  1. He's a great lad a great leader not denying that but he's god damn awful footballer now, he was never the best but i'm at a loss as too how he is near the side. He got ripped apart again by a bloody div 1 player the other night. Sorry but he should be on his way if he wants to carry on playing or stick around and coach the kids but not as a player.
  2. Mr Moyes is edging me very close to losing respect for him. To treat a club like ours the way he is at the moment whilst picking up one of the biggest cheques in the country is nothing shot of disgraceful. It's getting beyond a joke now and cannot be sending out a very good mesage to the players, even if they say it doesn't bother them. Why would you not want to sign a new contract at a top premiership side, who the hell does he think he is. At the end of the day the man has won naff all not a fecking carrot. Like i've said before if he doesn't want to be here then f*ck off because the way he is acting at the moment is a disgrace.
  3. We don't half make things hard for ourselves but a good win in the end. Heitinga and Neville are liabilities.
  4. Obvious choice is Baines but I thought Anichebe had a great game as did Pienaar
  5. People seem to think that this knee injury has popped out of nowhere, it hasn't and DM,BK and anyone else who deals with scouting or recruitment would have had prior knowledge of it that is why i'm criticising them because they have left it so late. They probably had no intention of signing him it's all been a PR stunt to silence the fans or is that me being cynical.
  6. I understand that and I wasn't really dissing his record I was merely stating that his record doesn't constitute him being called one of the best in the world. It doesn't not even close but I'm thankful to the fcat he has stabilised us.
  7. In context, I meant they must have known about his knee before they made a bid yet wait until his medical before saying they may not sign him. top marks for sarcasm though nice one.
  8. The old Moyes debate rears it's head again. Listen Davey has done a tremendous job but to call a manager who has never won 1, not 1 trophy and has only even been to 1 final in 10.5 years one of the greatest in the world is pure and utter nonesense. Now i'm not bashing Moyes as he has done well given certain financial restraints and has always turned a trump card when after selling a key player always seems to find a replacement at least as good or a couple of players that have strengthened the squad. So he is definitely astute in the transfer market. He and his staff are also good at progressing and getting the best out of players no qualms about that. Then we get to matchday and all his good work unravels as he continually plays players out of position so to accomadate favourites. His defensive minded tactics that he has deployed for the majority of his tenureship are at times mind numbingly dull. Even this season when we have at least started well and played some eyecatching football, there have been games that we have looked like 2 different sides in 2 halves. On top of that we only seem to play well against the 'bigger' sides. In short it's never all or nothing Everton have been around(and in the top flight) for a long time, we suffered greatly when we were handed a european ban and it has taken us a long time to recover. We will carry on regardless/
  9. In typical Everton fashion we balls up the transfer, The last player we didn't sign due to an old injury hasn't done so bad for himself has he, Mr Ba. Why can Everton ever do things simple like every other club in the country. His knee must have been known about surely. Everton make me so mad sometimes. Get him signed and someone else and hurry the f*#k up as we now know you have at least 8.5mil to negotiate a transfer with so come on DM & BK sort it.
  10. Some of his comments there a bit disturbing, suitable intermediate step towards top leagues like Germany, Spain or Italy.. But if I take a look at the players, I expect myself on top of the pecking order very soon. Not what they used to be, but they're doing alright now. Even though now I could probably forget about European football with my new team, I hope that I can contribute to avoid, say, relegation. relegation, what planet is he coming from like, we are nowhere near relegation fodder. Does he know we are in the running for Europe this year. I'm going to forget I read some of them or I'l be on the hate wagon straight away, what a plonker.
  11. Listening to the Dutch journo on SSN he sounds like a good signing. The journo was stroking himself whilst talkin about Fer, so sounds promising.
  12. Happy Harry would have been sniffing as well
  13. Dutch international as well, they have a good squad so he must be half decent. He can't be worse than our current midfield encumberent in Cap'n Pip though. Here's to our new right winger
  14. I don't like giving new boys a hard time as every player takes different times to settle but naismith just doesn't look good enough. He's being played out of position fair enough but that's not an excuse for having the touch of a drunken baboon or the passing ability of a blind person on acid. He runs around a lot like a headless chicken but can't even seem to make basic interceptions and if he does get lucky winning the ball his inability to even lay it off 5yards to a team mate is worrying. Seriously even watching hungover lads in the park on a sunday they can pass a ball. For some strange reason though I have a feeling playing him behind Jelavic he may just nicka few goals as he does get in to good positions. It's when he has to think about what to do next that his brain seems to just go,'meh'.
  15. Shocking lads haha, *insert general cheese related quip*
  16. He doesn't offer anything at all though and it's no coincidence that our centre midfield gets over run most weeks by teams deemed lower than us who play a pressure game against us, so the job he is there to do which is protect the back four doesn't work, he doesn't offer any protection at all. On top of that he certainly is no play maker, our defenders don't trust him with the ball and so hoof it even more than they normally do. I personally feel his time as a first team regular is long gone. I like the lad as captain mind but he's a declining footballer.
  17. The problem is centre midfield it very weak an easy solution until gibson is back is switch fellaini and Osman around and play less high balls, we know this won't happen though. Hitzlsperger is a better player then Neville, who for me is becoming an embarrassment and is weakening our team. Then we have Naismith who should be nowhere near the first team he is truly an awful footballer. Hopefully Mirallas will be fully fit and back on the right. Jelavic will find his form again and I think he suffers when fellaini plays up top. He suffers when we have no creativity coming through the middle and our left hand side is shut down. He suffers because 3 of our back 5 kick hopeless long balls on a consistent basis. All in all, we need Gibson and Mirallas back and a new centre mid. That's my feelings.
  18. Howards distribution is very very poor and yet he never looks for his full backs. The amount of time he lumps it up out of play or back to the opponent is actually disgraceful. His shot stopping is good but his command of area and long range shot stopping are fairly bad too. at this point i may add Jags and Distin aren't much better either they seem to think they can ping 50yard passes like Franz Beckenbauer and they do give the ball away a lot. Maybe if Phil Neville wasn't the deep lying player we wouldn't bypass the midfield so often, hurry back Gibbo.
  19. I voted unhappy, I personally feel he is being very disrespectful to the club and fans by not signing or giving any indication of his intentions. I want to know the exact reasons he has for delaying when he is one of the best paid managers in the country. I don't honestly care if he signs or not, Everton have survived managers coming and going for a long time and if a new dawn is around the corner then I shall embrace it. If Moyes doesn't want to be here then sod off if he does then sign the contract. He knows the money situation so unless he's hoping a rich guy comes knocking before june he has all the facts he needs to make a decision.
  20. Alrighty lads, my first post. I gave it to Howard for keeping us in the game first half although his kicking was very poor. An all round shoite performance really. Glad Mirallas is back we need some guile and trickery. Jelavic is woefully out of sorts I'd give Vic a start. Naismith and Neville are atrocious and should be benched.
  21. hello chaps and chapettes North West Evertonian here, signing up to talk with Toffees on Toffee Talk. Blue Cheese
