Lot of rats jumping off the ship today I see. I am wasting my time here when I read personal abuse of our own players - plenty of whom have been heroes on other days this season.
We're people expecting us to piss on The Arsenal?
Good luck to the sensible. cheers.

I was not a big Neville fan. If he had retired after the cup final it would have alright with me. Moyes picked him too many times and in my opinion stunted the development of Coleman who was ready to play full-back the season he returned from Blackpool. Gave away free kicks in dangerous places all the time. I think even his strongest supporters were largely sick of him in the end.

Deserved a point I thought. After playing superbly it appears Howard punched in their winner - albeit under immense and unchecked pressure from Terry. Cruel game. Clinical finisher required.

Has not played anything close to the level he reached upon his return from Spurs. Falls over like a rag doll when brushed. I find him frustrating much of the time.

Spurs were bound to be better in the second half - as was the case. We did not trouble the onion bag when we were massively on top - and we switched off for their goal. Not sure Goliath was there yesterday for anything other than squad experience to be fair. One of those dribbling subs could easily have won us a crucial free kick around their box - whether Clatterburg would have given it is another story entirely. Preening cock seemed to be busting to see Spurs home.

We can trouble the likes of Skelator and Tourre. Keep The Fang quiet and we have every chance.

McArthur is a good footballer. Not only tough but technically sound. Like McCarthy he has been a regular starter since coming down from Scotland as a kid. I thought he was the better player of the two in their Hamilton days. I seem to remember a similar amount of underwhelment when McCarthy was being mentioned. He has turned out alright. Have some faith in your manager.

George Green - my guess is by end of next season will have made first team appearance
John Stones - my guess is that he will get England cap by end of next season - after world cup the likes of Cahill, Jags will needing to have their successors blooded in.
He will have to fill out a bit. He currently looks like a pull through for a rifle. Nice interview with the boy on Soccer Saturday last week. Humble sort of chap. Seems Martinez tried to sign him while at Wigan.

The backroom staff was his biggest error. Get rid of one, fine but not the whole lot.
Bringing Neville as a cheerleader was a particularly daft idea.

Needs a fresh start. Good luck to him.

Let's hope your comment isn't picked up by search engines, otherwise you'll have just knocked a couple of hundred thousand off his price!
I think they will have already noticed that Martinez has preferred a skinny kid and someone who has barely kicked a ball in six months to Fisty. I mean him no harm. He just needs to leave and play for someone else at this stage in his career.
I type while watching Villa v Arsenal. Some absolute whoppers represent Villa.

Wilson of Stoke, Moxy of Palace and Heitinga..

1: West Brom; 0-0.
2: Cardiff City; 0-0.
3: Chelsea; 1-0.
4: Villa; 2-0.
5: Spurs; 0-0.
6: Palace; 0-0.
7: Stoke; 4-0.
8: Manchester United; 1-0.
9: QPR; 4-0.
10: Norwich; 2-0.
9 clean sheets in the Premier League & 10 if you include the FA Cup game against QPR. Overall we have played 24 games this season (21 in the league and 3 in the cups so far).
Thank you. Impressive stuff indeed.

Can a statto to please tell me how many clean sheets we have had this season. Seems like a good number to me - especially from a team whose full backs are a pair of attacking gems. We are a bloody good team.

Did you miss the entire 2012/13 season?
No. My point is that Coleman was so obviously an attacking full back and not a midfielder. Moyes chose Hibbert and then Neville there for far too long.
-
Get over the early adrenalin rush from the home players - then tank them. We are going to win the cup.
-
Home win.

Me neither, the current squad(that is performing so well) is made up of players he mostly signed, and we have always had a solid back four under him, But i do think some of the praise is a bit OTT, that's all.
Solid back four but only Baines overlapped with any menace. His persistence with Hibbert at full back and using Coleman as a project right winger was particularly painful for me so you can imagine how much better I feel currently. Also youth got a chance under Moyes when there were injuries. It gets a proper chance nowadays on merit.Me neither, the current squad(that is performing so well) is made up of players he mostly signed, and we have always had a solid back four under him, But i do think some of the praise is a bit OTT, that's all.

No. I was sick of Moyes several years ago. I respect the job he did but his stubbornness - for example over Coleman and Barkley was really pissing me off. Martinez was producing miracles keeping Wigan up and regularly scalping perceived better teams. We are lucky to have him.
-
We are a definitely good enough to win the cup but this is a tricky one - especially with the makeshift central defensive pairing. We should have too much guile for the Rs though. Strong team please - no unnecessary dicking with the line-up.

This is good news. Better there getting experience than riding the pine. Seems a long time since his dice with death. Should come back a better player for his year in the Championship.

Thought he was dreadful again yesterday. His mis-hit "pass" to Lukaku. how did he miss that? Wasteful and weak in possession.
