Dunno if any of you guys on here have heard this before, but Danny Kelly does a two hour special on the club from 10pm tonight on Talksport, it's a really good piece with lots of club history and interviews. well worth a listen

Said it before but I'm convinced DK is a character (along the lines of Alan Partridge) made up by some comedy genius.

 

It appears to annoys him when I say it but I think that's just an act because I'm getting close to the truth .

He seems to me to be more like Count Arthur Strong Mike, but it sounds like you've been on his case a lot longer than me, so I bow to your expertise here :dont know:

It's not really much different from the SPL. Just another league in the British Isles, that can serve up some decent play here and there. I was (as before) watching a little of it today but didn't find out the eventual score. We can get BBC ALBA also and they sometimes put on games from the League of Ireland and some Scots games. I think 'foreign' would include any play from outside the UK, such as the aforementioned Irish league for example.

Ahem...it's a bit different from the SPL in that all the teams are rubbish by comparison DK

What a refreshing and heart warming thread, I don't know the back story as I'm relatively new on here.... but it reinforces to me what Everton are about as a club...I know that's a cliché and a bit trite...but hats off to you guy's and the community you've got on here

A wee update on how things are going at Tynecastle. We're on a losing streak league wise (3 in a row) but the performances aren't all that bad so hopefully we can turn the corner with that. Still 9 points adrift of 2nd bottom St Mirren, but they are truly awful and there's always hope we catch them soon.

We beat Queen of the South on penalties on Tuesday night to go through to the quarter finals of the League Cup up here...Celtic were knocked out at home to Morton so that leaves it wide open for probably 6 of the 8 teams left...we got beat in the final of this last year so it'd be great to get straight back and it's a cup I've not seen us lifting since we last won it in 1962. The great news for us is that we pulled Hibs out the hat so it's another Edinburgh derby for a place in the semi-final.....and yeah, we'll beat them :jump for joy: . Home to Dundee Utd on Saturday, it'll be as close to a sell out as matters and hopefully back to the kids picking up 3 points.
