Appy birfdee mate
-
Just watched him pick up his book award on sky sports news did anyone else see it?
Alarmingly he seemed to be shaking a little and it reminded me of watching films of Ali in the early days of his Parkinsons onset!

Yeah i thought someone would do the ebay thing, maybe sell their shirt for a small profit but that takes the p*** .. looks like theyve obviously bulk ordered a few shirts there (as they have many sizes and im sure more than 1 of each size was bought!) .. why the club have allowed that to happen i have no idea.. with limited number it would be good to say max of 2 per purchase or something .. as happens with concerts etc that are sure to be sold out.
but totally agree Louis, a pre-order system would have been the best thing.. whats annoying is its for charity too.. yet the charity hasnt maximised its income from this idea as im sure we could have sold many times more of those shirts than the poor number actually made ..
ah well .. the g/f wont be getting one.. im not paying over the odd's to boost up some cheeky f*kers ebay account.
Minge bag, get your hand in your pocket an think of the view when it's all shes got on

You'll look back on some good memories in years to come mate, nice one.
Thats for sure
-
Ah your back, thought you'd been locked up Liam.
No Bill home safe and fully recovered from the gallons of wine we consumed

I don't think theres many he hasnt won over by now, I had a moment last season or the season before where I faultered and thought he didnt have it in him to take us any further. Now though thats all in the past and I honestly believe with the financial backing he may just grab us some silverware in the comming seasons.
Exciting times ahead indeed and it's a strange feeling when you get spanked out of the UEFA cup but leave Goodison with a smile on your face. That man and the team he has assembled has given me one of the best seasons of my painful career as a football fan!
Now head down and save the pennies for next season and to anyone who didnt go this season believe me it's worth the struggle to find the cash, those 4 trips I went on this season have without doubt been the 4 best experiences of my 26 years.

I've got no problem with TC doing it at all, just disagree with comments like..
"His family have been through hell..."
...seemingly without a thought for the victim.
Josh got beaten up coming home from school last week, the lad's mother came to see us over the week-end and she's obviously going through rough time (police involved, son excluded from school) but I'd find it hard to sympathise with her tbh.
I get your point but if the tables were turned Mike you'd appriciate the friend put aside right & wrong and was just there for you!

Hmmmm, his brother did go down for GBH after jumping bail, running back to Oz and then being deported back....feel a bit more for what the victim and his his family are going through/have been through than TC and his family tbh .
The attack on 11 July 2004 in Bromley, Kent left the victim partially blinded after CCTV controllers spotted Cahill's older brother kicking his victim in the head twice as he lay on the floor.
Police found the victim semi-conscious and bleeding heavily and speaking in January, Detective Constable Will Hope described the attack as "brutal and terrifying".
TC's a cracking bloke and I'm sure he loves his brother whatever the circumstances but Joey Barton probably still loves his brother as well, would a similar celebration from him be acceptable?
I had a flag made for my mate who's in jail at the Nurnberg game, the lad made his mistakes & is paying for it but that doesnt mean I shouldnt show him I'm supporting him from out here!
I like when footballers make an honest statement, although I used it against him in many arguments I was secretly laughing inside at fowler's line snorting celebration. Good on the lad for sticking it back to the fans.

I'm looking forward to this one, the Yak on fire & Timmy comming back into his own for the run in it's a great time to be a blue.
I'm leaving at 5 tomorrow evening on a National express coach to Gatwick arriving at 2 in the morning then we dont fly until 9 so plenty of drinking time methinks. Fly into Pisa about lunch time wednesday an after that I'm not sure, as usual no hotels booked or travel planned just pack a bag, on a plane, beer money in pocket, sorted
We've had such a laugh in Europe this season and everywhere we've been the people / police / stewards have treated us exceptionally well with the behaviour of our traveling army reflecting the way we've been treated. This one however scares the shit outa me because I know the Everton crowd and although we are all mild mannered when treated like human beings there will be trouble if we see repeats of the brutal police treatement of English supporters in the past. I just hope a silly little incident or inevitable police batton charge doesnt kick of a riot. This could be the game we loose our good reputation in Europe & the Italian police realise you may be able to bully other people but theres a dangerous undercurrent in Evertons crowd that I don't think any of us want to see come to the surface. Let's keep our fingers crossed for another peacefull encounter on our march to Manchester.

I like the panther one, I like that tattoo design anyway but the UV addition to it looks good. Not realy into the others though!
-
Never.
Even over Kirkby?
The way I see it this Kirkby move has destroyed everything this club was built on anyway so we may as well grasp onto a bit of integrity and retain our place in the city.
-
Alot more than yours Bill but still a chunk less than today, my first season ticket in 1995 was £90.
-
Not for me either.
-
Always been dead against a ground share but I'd take one now over Kirkby.
-
I knew feck all about it until this morning but I've been know to sleep through all kinds, house alarm, mum falling down the stairs, little baby sis being rushed to hospital in an ambulance you get the picture.
NOTHING wakes me up!!

Their were loadz of chants going round Glwyds at the Brann game, but lasted 10 seconds each.
One verse Everton that's us these days, I know I'm bias because of my personal experiences but did anyone else make the link between the death of the Goodison crowd and the increased heavy handed tacticts from both club and police throughout last season?
Were we behaving that badly they had to beat the will to even attend home games out of us?
-
If they had a Rooney/Ronaldo/Berbatov/Torres, they'd be as good as liverpool and give them a run all the way. As it is I don't think they'll last the distance with the UEFA Cup as well.
Gota love the way the Yak is never rated by anyone,
Yakedy yak, don't talk back!
-
I've just grown out of it TBH I brought myself up that way through the dark times and spent many a post match clapping shite players off the pitch after another dire performance. I also taught r kid to never leave early when he started comming but this season especially I just feel I put in the hours, the commitment & the cash an if I want to go get a beer I bloody well will
I'll never leave when we're loosing though, I have a job to do then but when we're winning I'll take it or leave it depending on my mood.
-
I left early last night so I could get the bar in the boozer before the rush.

I used to feel you should never leave before the end but when your sat in a crowd like last nights who wouldnt get behind the team and actually support what's the point in hanging round??
