  1. Come on boys and girls it's Derby day.

We march across the park, let out a battle cry and go to war. We are far better this season than worrying about other teams and go into the derby at Anfield every year with a long injury list.

We need to win this one and we will win this one I'm saying nothing more!

  2. I can't have a shit unless I've got something to read. The only book that I had time to grab before shitting myself this morning was the first tome of a Game of Thrones. I only read 37 pages on the shitter, but I'm already so into the book again that I know I now have to read all 5 books all over again. All 5,000 pages.

37 pages  that's one long shit!

  3. I've got nothing against it. TBH Blue Bill has wound me up over the past few years but really, if he had any cash would anyone be complaining about him?

I've got dirty kopite mates who have praised our community and charity work in the past few weeks, the kids at Goodison and the pic of Bobby leading the old dear out of her house for the Everton street party were 2 that got everyone talking.

I'm proud of our club, Bill is proud of our club and after listening to The Everton Podcast with Martinez the other week I have a new found respect for Mr Kenwright. There has to be something about him that successive managers keep praising!

Shout it from the rooftops, we are Everton FC and we are cut from a different cloth than the majority of Premier League teams these days.

  4. Policing has a lot to do with it as the constant reinforcement for Liverpool City Councils no standing policy, why they feel the need to get involved I'll never know??

People don't sing sat down unless it's Westlife perched on a stool!

  5.

All these people complaining still have the option of not competing. Not saying the conditions are right, because they clearly aren't but it makes me laugh that they know what its going to be like but still turn up.

Bit harsh don't u think? Would your opinion be a little different if England announced their squad for 2022 and a string of players decided not to go because of the heat? After all it's their choice right?

  6. I'm quite happy with this I think he has the skill and RM wont let him play until he proves on the training ground he can look up and pick the right ball. His only downside is how wasteful he can be with the final ball and in a team that's passing as slick as us at the moment he's going to have to turn it up a notch!

Not going to set the world on fire but a solid signing IMO I look forward to seeing him prove himself.

  7. I have a lot of respect for what Moyes did at Everton there is no doubting he piled the ground and laid a solid foundation slab at a club that has struggled for years. I questioned his tactics often, he played many players out of position and pushed aside many a player in favor of his favorites and that, lets get the sub undressed 7 times before finally bringing them on in injury time thing he did drove me crazy. Credit where credits due tho he steadied the ship, gave me a European tour and put in a shift for my beloved club.

It's a pity he turned the second he walked out the door and now tbh he will get what he deserves, if he turns it around at utd good on him and if he gets the sack I'll laugh my lil man boobs off. He is the past and Bobby's brown shoes are the future!

    Onwards and upwards later Moyesy!!

  8.

Who didn't? But have to say I was a John Ebbrell man myself.

Me too I actually had a few non alcoholic pints with him and Watson in the away end at the Nuremberg game away in 2007 top blokes both of them. Loved it when he threw those crunching tackles, shit football or not I have very fond memories of the dark 90's.

Just spotted my error there I was talking about Parkinson!

  9. *I've had a quick look but if there's another thread just shift this over*

I've been really impressed this week with Everton's charitable events, we've done the annual visit to Alder Hey Children's hospital. There's been this Everton Street party thing going on around Liverpool and a friend of mine who is a school teacher and a home & away Liverpool fan, works at Halewood Academy told me we had an Everton party for a kid who had brain surgery recently where Sylavin Distin came and presented a signed shirt to the lad.

Do we lead the way in terms of football clubs with these activities or is there any others who have raised the bar for the people in their communities?
