  1. If he did, I think Peter Reid would be worth a shot. Blue through and through.
  2. Even if we win, we won't get 10th spot if Wigan win or draw but they are away to the Arses. COYB
  3. I think he's sincere as he's out of the shadow of his gobby brother and I wouldn't be too disappointed to see him captain next season.
  4. Perhaps Shrek shouldn't have been wearing BLUE boots!
  5. Privileged to have seen the great man play. A true servant to EFC, R.I.P. Brian and thanks for the memories.
  6. Daily Express today says DM has made a firm enquiry to Cardiff about Cameron Jerome. £3 million and he has scored 20 this season. Manc City and Charlton are also interested.
  7. This is the point, the defence are not confident with Wright in goal, but Moyes invested in him so sticks with him. D'ya think he reads Toffee TAlk then flies in the face of popular opinion?
  8. Just been on the Addicks website to see if there are tickets available but only singles or restricted view, so knocking it on the head. The match preview does suggest that Curbishley might rest some players in view of their cup replay next week. If so let's hope we can take advantage of it. COYB
  9. Let's face it Marcus Bent will be up for it so I'd play Joey instead of Weir. It's got to be worth throwing Turner in goal for this one. Problem is if there's little realistic chance of UEFA how motivated are the team going to be in any case? Hate to say it but not confident at all.
  10. kAYLEY, DARLING YOU'VE GOT EVERYTHING GOING FOR YOU, YOU'VE GOT BLUE BLOOD, LOTS OF LOVE XX
  11. Point is Rocco, when you are talking about the mighty Blues you don't say "we" which rather seems to point to the fact that you are on the outside looking in, yeah you'd love to support us hand on heart but WE DO NOT CHOOSE, WE ARE CHOSEN.
  12. I'd risk Turner in goal. Dfinitely agree with Raccy's earlier comment that we should give youngsters a chance to prove themselves in the blue shirt. Otherwise they leave and become a success elsewhere. Let's face it Hibbo and Ossie had to break into the team once!
  13. Thanx to bluenose and mac1970 for being the voices of reason. Yes we are all disappointed but have to move on, COYB.
  14. Anychance of getting rid of Crouchino who seems to spend more time exchanging his dubious views with Blue Boys rather than his fellow RS?
  15. Gutted. Definitely missed Arteta. Tim subdued after his yellow, but great goal. Dowd simply didn't understand a Merseyside derby card happy c--t. Teflon has to be replaced next match, defenders don't have confidence in him. Bring on Sunderland to restore confidence, oops, it's on AprilFool's Day!!
  16. You've depressed me now, presume you mean that he will move on? That would be a blow. His skill was awesome on Saturday we have to keep him.
  17. I was p----d off with Rob Hawthorne on Prem+, kept banging on how AV had to field so many youngsters. I reckoned that McCann, Samuel, Sorensen, Mellberg, Hendrie and Bouma have a fair amount of experience. But it's what we expect - putting the Blues down, no accounting for the injuries we have had. Bring on the Shite! COYB

    Everton V Villa

    2-1 Beattie Cahill
  19. I'm with you Claire. Think the World cup is going to take it out of alot of players so our squad should be fit and raring to go in August. Tim might suffer though.
  20. Ditto Parker. Thought Arteta played with total comitment. Also impressed with Westerveld considering he hadn't played regular first team football. If he performs is there any chance of making his loan permanent? Weir's two strikes, if only....
  21. Thanks Goldfish, that really sums up The People's Club roll on the Geordies!!
  22. That was never a pen. But what do we expect when playing Chelsea? What was with Wright's injury during warm-up?
  23. Personally, glad to have him back, he is blue through and through and loyalty counts for alot if he can perform.
