The only thing I can think of is that Big Sam miraculously works some magic this week and tightens up the back as to either keep a clean sheet or keep it to just one from Salah or Coutinho, and at the other end Rooney, DCL, Niasse, and/or the Blue Viking have the flippin' match of their lives in front of the Anfield crowd. I gotcha Mikey - I'm just saying that there must be folks out there that loathe a specific manager SOOOO much (Martinez, Koeman, Big Sam anyone?) that they would root against them in all regards, even if it means EFC soiling their trousers on the table (Not an actual table, mind you). Edit: Pints of wine. Years ago when my parents ran a village store in Somerset they used to sell scrumpy and sherry from barrels in the storeroom. Gotta say - I was pretty impressed with his presser. Nothing else to do now than to back him and see EFC rise in the table and in confidence. Any proper EFC fan that wishes failure upon him at this point needs a lobotomy. You don't have to love him, but you have to love the club and he is now leading it. COYB.
