Well obviously. Its not like there are lots of clubs in London or anything!
Actually, no I'm not from London. Am from the North. Although I rate Johnson very highly(see the thread Bellamy vs Johnson) and am pleased to see him doing well

Oh and incidently I am in England

Watford do look quite good but sadly playing good football doesn't guarantee safety if you don't have the quality players. If you play good football you allow others to do the same and chances are the opposition will be better at it! For teams to survive they have to battle it out, unless they are resigned to going down and are planning to use the money to go up again next year (this is a fairly good strategy that Charlton used to good affect)
I say Watford, Fulham and Wigan to go down. Keeping faith with the Blades to pull off a dramatic recovery in the second half of the season!

No..that was why it fell through...
Mr Pruksakasemsuk (President of the Democratic trade union alliance) believes the prime minister will use public money to buy LFC and says this is something which is vehemently opposed by trade union and non government organisations across Thailand.
Spending public money on LFC is a move which "disgusts" many Thai people.
Mr Pruksakasemsuk believes the premier sees Liverpool as a great business opportunity.
"He justifies using money from the public purse by saying Liverpool would become a part of the Sport Authority of Thailand and there would be all-round benefits.
"But many people in Thailand are asking why this money is not being used to benefit a football team in Thailand and the Thai population."
Oh okay. Sorry, my mistake. I bet Parry is relieved now then!

I'd say 4th or 5th is the best you can hope for. There is no way that Everton will be challenging for the title in the forseeable future.
It would be nice to see the smaller teams up there but it won't happen.

Johnson is a much more effective player. Bellamy has a lot of pace but ultimately doesn't score many goals, which is what you want from a striker. Johnson is strong, not slow and can score goals. They would actually make a great partnership as Bellamy is good at getting out wide, getting away from his man and putting crosses in but if you could only have one it would have to be Johnson.
The off-the-field and dressing room stuff I am not so sure about. Lots of players are arrogant tossers and it comes out when they are not happy at a club. I have it on good authority that Beattie was considered a very nasty piece of of work at Southampton towards the end. Bellamy has a nasty side I think but falling out with Shearer and Souness is, I would say, something to his credit!

No, not a shock at all. The programme didn't really offer much hard evidence and the teams who were implicated in tapping up were the ones that the agent approached. If he has approached others there'd probably have been others on the programme.
As for the bung thing though I doubt they are all at that. Some managers I'm sure don't take any bungs
-
The teams/individuals implicated (to varying degrees) were:
Fat Sam - 3 agents named him as someone who takes money, but have since all said they were joking, which seems rather flimsy.
Fat Sam's son - Proven on camera as dodgy but has since quit football
Redknapp - On camera discussing buying a player from an unlicensed agent but didn't talk about money
Kevin Bond - Caught on tape saying that he would take a bung. Has since left Portsmouth
Chelsea - caught on camera saying they would make payments (£150,000) to 15 year old at Middlesboro if he signs for them (without his club's knowledge)
Liverpool - discussed the same 15-year old without Middlesboro's knowledge
-
Wasn't it his personal wealth that he was looking to buy Liverpool with though? I don't think his assets would have been frozen in any case as he is not a dictator and has done nothing wrong. It is a coup against the governing system not the Prime Minister personally.

it seems that the shits are very wary of this game on saturday against us at Goodison.
Liverpool have had almost the whole squad on international duties and arent fully prepared for this saturdays game.
they also have major injuries in carragher, riise, sissoko, kewell, zenden and bellamy.
so our chances in this game are great but we are still the underdogs according to ladbrokes.com.
im predicting a 3-1 scoreline to us with Johnson 2 and cahill scoring the goals
I believe Sissoko and Carragher will be back and the loss of Zenden and Kewell would hardly be a loss for anyone
Sorry, Liverpool to win this one

They had 8 players ill. And?
Plenty of teams have had that many players (or more) injured at stages this season and they didn't complain. This is no different. Spurs should stop moaning and accept it.
Its not like they were destroyed by West Ham, which suggests that the team that played (which included some of the supposedly 'ill') were well enough and strong enough to put in a decent enough performance, away from home against the FA Cup finalists.
Not a leg to stand on I'm afraid.

It looks a bit like that - I remember AF sying "We have a good working understanding Everton" not so long ago.
Well it appears that this good working understanding consists of him getting the pick of the best Everton players and then being able to offload all his shite in return.
Not difficult to see who is getting the best of out that one

SUNDERLAND
Arca (free trade for Kilbane)
Whitehead
Le Tallac (why not hes a young striker)
Whitehead is a good player but Le Tallec isn't. Young doesn't disguise the fact that he's not very good.
The only young striker worth signing from Liverpool is Pongolle, not Le Tallec.

Lets hope not!
More likely Villa, Boro or Newcastle
Coulda Been The Redshiote..!
