Transfer window opened today. Player contracts usually expire on 1st July, but that's another matter. Players can move already.
-
He's very good. Consider Sadio Mane. Pacey winger, can use both feet, can play both wings, very technical dribbler. It would be оur best deal of the season if we can get him, but I'm sure many top clubs are chasing him too.
-
I have watched him countless times and I can say for sure: This lad has serious problems with his conditioning and his stamina above all. He's great for about 30-40 minutes and then becomes too tired to keep the level. I like him much, because he's the most technical adept winger we have on our roster, but he's not an out and out first team option because of this huge flaw that's making him a player for one half only.
-
He's good, but I would rather go for someone with future like Horn, Pickford or Lafont
-
I just hope this summer won't be replica of last year's.
-
Can't remember, but did the Kitbag deal die already? If not, he's only good for marketing, not making money
Either way, marketing is supposed to bring more money. But this is not the subject of this topic.

We don't sign players to sell shirts, makes no difference to the club.
Yeah I meant that signing him will only benefit our merchandising, but he's not going to improve us as a team. I would rather go for Davy Klaassen. Strong personality and good goalscoring outlet from second position. Would be much more useful than Barkley behind the main striker, whoever he is going to be.
-
We are going nowhere signing another Samuel Eto'o only to sell a few more shirts. It's not worth it. We should aim at the best possible players we can sign at this stage of our development and Rooney is nowhere near the quality we're seeking.
-
He doesn't deserve more than £90k in my opinion. And signing on a 5 year contract for £100k doesn't mean that new deal can't be negotiated during those 5 years if he shows he deserves better contract. Nobody wants unhappy players and if he deserve the bigger paycheck we won't lose him because of that. I'm pretty sure we're capable of paying Lukaku whatever he wants to stay, but that's not the case, because he simply wants to leave. It's in Barkley's interests to accept the deal and stay, otherwise he's risking his career going Rodwell's way. If he prefers being a benchwarmer at £150k he's free to go.

Didn't Koeman said he will make a statement on Barkley's future on Monday? If so, which Monday?
-
It's Ross playing the same game he played before he signed his current contract. It was Lampard or Terry I can't remember who urged him to stay and become Everton legend.
-
Highly doubt he will go, he's a blue through and through and can see the club are moving forward instead of fighting relegation (in before people through "yeah but Rooney" at that).
The papers just don't like it when we are doing well and our players are, remember him being sold to everyone the other summer?
+ He is a regular, and surely we will offer him healthy 70k+ GBP weekly wage at the end of the season. There is no better club in PL that could offer him better terms.
-
Koeman looked delighted at the end.
-
It was a heavy second half. I don't know how it will end, but we were poor today overall.
-
I was interested in answering which is why I did .
But you didn't answered my question, rather my second explanatory post which wasn't a question.
-
But there's no rule that you have to play the game .
Fair enough, but you don't have to respond to my question if you're not interested in answering.
-
i wouldn't let either go
The rule is you have no choice but to pick one.
-
If you had to get rid of one of either Barkley or Davies immediately, without compensation or any deal involved, who would you opt to stay and why?
-
Yeah, but we have too many central midfielders. Barry, McCarthy, Besic, Schneiderlin, Gana, Davies, Barkley and .... Gibson? And we still have Cleverly on permanent. I guess Koeman wants to keep him, but McCarthy himself said that he wants to play regularly. Something that can't happen obviously, so he better go. I hope we get some reasonable cash for him.
-
I haven't seen a performance like this for years. Where are those who were shouting for Koeman's resignation a few weeks ago?
-
Dreadfull second half, Ross where were you?
Coleman, probably man of the match.
Oh well, the red shite won me £50 !!
Is winning bets against Everton what makes you fan of this club?
-
We should acknowledge the Ref was on our side. Barkley should have been sent off for this tackle on Henderson.
-
Steaks went off and we just knew it,
McCarthy was a massive loss
Stop repeating the Steaks nonsense. It wasn't Robles fault.
-
If we had conceded in the first half, probably would have won the game.
