  1. He is number 10, I've just watched his interview on ETV and he says he's number 10.
  2. He's been given the number 10? Shows he could very well be a regular starter. Brilliant. :speak_cool:
  3. That's all true, but he's older and slower than he was and he didn't have pace in abundance anyway. Grav will probably be ahead of Jagielka as well as the rest I dread the moment when I see him do his headless chicken act at Goodison again. I'm just totally disappointed by this, what happened to building a young squad who can compete? What happened to buying a creative player? instead we by another bruiser who'll get more yellow cards than successfull passes made.
  4. Right so being embarrassed about signing a mediocre player means I should go and support someone else? I can understand that. I mean we're not heading into Europe or anything so it doesn't matter that he wouldn't be able to keep up with the play. Whoops we are aren't we, silly me. He failed in Scotland and they are fucking ecstatic to get rid of him, it says it all really doesn't it? MASSIVE step backwards when we should be looking forwards. He shouldn't get in ahead of any of our midfielders, even Carsley.
  5. It's all good and well having squad players but hwen you're in Europe you need your squad players to add something to the team, which is something mad dog will not do.
  6. I'm embarrassed by this signing and so should Moyes.
  7. Any seen the pics from his unveilling? Fuckinghell the ball didnt half look tiny in his hand in one pic
  8. Moyes reckons we could have another two players in before the deadline tomorrow night. I hope so. http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...2696097,00.html
  9. He played well for us for 6 months in the whole time he was with us. He hasn't played well since then. He's 31 so he's not going to get better. Has been.
  10. It's supposed to be getting announced tonight. What a come down eh? A quality young midfielder to a 31 year old has been.
  11. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/everton-fc/...00252-19711620/ Someone get me a tissue, I think im going to cry.
  12. I'd heard he'd chosen number 22 a few days a go now, apparently it was because he felt it would be too much pressure on top of his price tag
  13. If I don't rate a player very highly I'm hardly going to want him to come on am I? He didn't do much when he came on, yes it was harder for Samba but he still didn't jump for headers. All he does is back in and to succeed in this league you need more about you than shoving your arse into someone. Don't get me wrong though, I'd love for him to succeed and show me he can do more because you need all the strikers you can get at the top level. I think a loan move would be beneficial to him.
  14. The thing is with Diarra, and I do like him don't get me wrong, is that he's another defensive midfielder. We're crying out for more creativity.
  15. The fact is though managers don't get it right all the time. That's why there are forums, to discuss what you would do instead and get other people's opinions on what they would do.
  16. I wasn't actually. What exactly did he do to help us score? Other than be like Heskey and fall over because someone touched him.
  17. You can't deny that so far Vic has been crap, he doesn't deserve to play. I don't mind if he doesn't run around like AJ but not jumping for headers is a joke. I've only ever seen him play well once, and for that game I thought I was wrong about him but since then he's gone back to looking like he doesn't want to be on the pitch. Once Vaughan is back and fit he should be loaned out to teach him that he can't just huff and puff and watch the game go on around him. You said Carsley was one of our best performers last season. Like you said last season, we're now onto a new season and he's been average at best. Maybe dropping him for Jags will give him the kick up the arse he needs, but to me his reading of the play (which is something a DM needs to do well) has slowed right down, and is pretty non-existent now. Jagielka deserves to play ahead of him this weekend, and once (or if) Jagielka loses form I'll have no problem with Carsley coming back in.
  18. That's exactly what you want Vic to do though - walk into the side. His performances this season have been utter shite, he's been injured and Faddy scored to steal us a point last week. Yak should be on the bench with aj and faddy upfront and Vic stay at home and train harder because he's knackered after 10minutes.
  19. Still got no chance now? He's had a bust up with Mourinho.
  20. I'd be totally fucked off by that. The whole point of getting Fernandes was for creativity, so that doesnt come off and we buy another defensive midfielder. Theres something seriously wrong in Moyes' head if he does that.
  21. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/foo...icle2351335.ece According to this the best we can hope for is Diop or Vogel
  22. He's just one of McClown's bum boys isn't he? The thinking is he's done it before so he'll do it again. It's bullshit, he should have had to work his arse off to get back into the England team but we all know he'll start the qualifiers and it'll be like playing with 10 men because he's unfit and out of form.
  23. How can he regain his form if he isn't being played? Nothing ventured, nothing gained and all that.
  24. Carsley's a couple of years past his best now, he needs replacing. The man can't keep up with play anymore, and seems to think he's an attacking midfielder most of the time and leaves the defence exposed time and time again.
