  1. Goal line tech, use what they do in Ice hockey.

Replays are a good idea, Andy townend(who i can't stand) made a good point the otherday, he said by the time the Celtic players had stop arguing, they seen 3 replays of the incedant an could have said it wasn't a pen.

also 5 ref's meand s 2 extra refs to screw us over. Colina the best ref in the WHOLE WORLD on his last ever game, was told to make sure we don't win. an he did, robbing git. so all an extra 2 refs do is increase the change that Uefa can fix who goes throught an who doesn't.

THAT just shows what a numpty Townsend is..... HE HAD TIME TO SHOW REPLAYS BECAUSE THE GAME HAD STOPPED.......

If it hadnt been given.... how long to say it was a pen....would he have time to do that...

  2. Leave it all to the ref... thats why hes there.... just give more powers to a "review panel"

The most important questions are....How far do we go? & What exactly do we target?

A process allowing managers to "report" incidents for review post match wood be good.. I dont want Big fucking Andy Gray getting involved.....

OK this may not have an effect "in game" but if players and referees were punished for their mistakes / cheating they would think twice about doing it again....

The only technical aspect I would introduce is goaline technology

  3. I think we will be much more likely to use Arteta in a deep-lying playmaker role (similar to Pirlo), as he performed it brilliantly in the weeks before he was injured.

I think we'll see something like this when at full strength:

    ----Neville----Arteta

    Pienaar---Cahill---Billy

    ----------Yakubu

Rodwell and Neville are interchangable, and I think Fellaini will also be used there as he was brought in as a holding mid and he showed glimpses of his ability in that role against Wigan.

Alternatively Fellaini can be swapped with Cahill in the attacking mid role.

He came on as a late Sub... and was played R CM ISH..... He was doing alot of chasing anyway and was pushing high up the pitch as we were chasing the game...... Not exactly HOLDING MIDFIELD.....

Not having a dig... just dont think Moyes will play Him that deep....... He played Cahill in the center over Fellini and we all know how poor ahill is in that role.... shows what Moyes things of big Fellini....

  4. Any deal for Heitinger, Banega or any other foreigner needs to be completed by Midnight due to International registration. We have until 5pm Tuesday to sign any one who currently plays in England. Hopefully this lad will be a blue.

I carnt see that happening...... do you have a link or are you just an expert on international transfers......

  5. sh.t becomes crap

    b.llocks becomes nonsense

I dont mind it to be honest... was just a light hearted observation.... Would be good to play with it if you could...

Change sh*t to poop instead of crap

    b*llocks to dangly bits

    general stuff like that...

People usually swear on here when there having a rant..... would be great to see their rants full of "poop's" and "woopsie daiseys"

  7. Top seeds..

    Werder Bremen

    Villarreal

    AS Roma

    Shakhtar Donetsk

    Sporting CP Lisbon

    Hamburger SV

    Benfica

    Valencia

    Panathinaikos

    Ajax

    Steaua Bucuresti

Thats some group of top seeded teams.... OK not the mighty giants of Europe but compared to our Blues.... hmmmm at least a couple of tough games coming up I think

  8.

I honestly dont see how it will effect the standing of clubs....Man U(256m) Chelsea(213m) Arsenal(222m) all have massive turnovers.....

If clubs have capped spending limits based on turnover as suggesed

"The detail of the proposals, to be introduced across European competition in the 2012-3 season, will not be finalised for another ten months, but the essence is that clubs will be expected to break even on their football budgets."

How will clubs like Villa(75m) or Everton(78m) EVER compete?????? Even if they are bought out

I know the emphesis is on "break even" but surely the big clubs... (that have already bought their success by the way) will have much more money to spend than everyone else..... Not much of a problem maybe....

But will this esentially stop clubs challenging the "BIG 4"

This may well save the long term future of the game (and satisfy Platini anlong the way) but it wont change anything significantly... No wonder owners like the idea of it though.... they can now safely say they are on their way to SECURING a place in Europes elite for the considerable furure

  9. theres no way they will go against referees though, because of this respect the officials stuff. and it shouldnt been fines if the players concerned are to be punished, ban them for 5 games. this can only be done after the game i suppose, if not they should get a red, non of this yellow nonsense. delibrate handball is red because its cheating, diving should be included...

Not exactly "cheating" if you read the rules  but the same thing... Im sure its along the lines of

deliberate handball in the area denying a goalscoring opertunity.......

Cheating in my book so I kind of agree...... The sticking point is IMO...handball is very black and white... you either did or you didnt a referee would have to use his judgement on the issue of diving.......something they are crap scared of doing sometimes....

straight yellow all the time.... no ifs or buts if its a clear dive.. yellow card..... even if there is contact and you go flailing to the ground.... its still cheating in my book... but I guess thats a different argument

  10. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/europe/8223917.stm

did anyone see the game last night and was it a dive? just seen on the bbc site that the SFA chief is calling for Eduardo to be banned. In his case, i would understand if he did dive in light of his injury, but if player should be banned for it (and i believe they should) where does it stop? Ronaldo wouldnt have played in his 1st 2 seasons with Manure!

ordinarily, i would go off on how i would like to see a panel that evaulates these kind of things after a game, that players are punished for cheating. really, how much can it hurt if theyre clutching a shinpad? sure it hurts, but not enough for you to make a face like someone giving birth to twins. and the likes of Drogba who drop to the floor at the slightest contact. Can you imagine them going down that quickly during a disagrement in a bar? no chance, hes more likely to leave you a bloody stain on the floor.

anyway, got slightly off topic here. rant over but question remains, did he dive?

    Simply... YES.....

I think diving should just be punished at it is now..... yellow card. Its up to the referees to grow some balls....

Its not that they dont see it... If Drogba does a triple salco in the box and lands on his arse and no pen is given then surely its a yellow for diving.... this is down to the referee to control.

I agree that panels should be set up for post match analysis but they should have the power to overturn / go against referees decisions.... panels already exsist but without these powers and until they get them nothing will change.......

  11. I hope I'm posting this on the right forum, if not my apologies

Is anyone having a couple of quid tonight?

I always look for a bit of value, and as Sigma looked a decent side, I think they will score.

Sigma to lead at half time, Everton win is 25/1. 1-3 and 2-3 scorelines are 16/1 and 25/1 respectively.

Mixing these scores with their top rated 1st scorer, Michael Hubnik pays 170 and 250/1.

    Any thoughts?

Better your money than mine..... I RARELY bet on Everton and the few times I have they generally let me down......

what are the odds on 5-0 Sigma.......

  12. The only two one that stands out for me as being BAD is Bret Angel.... that guy didnt even seem to know what offside was... Id never slate him though he got to do something that I couldnt..... pull on that blue shirt....

I remember Paul Gerrard pissing me off a couple of times.... Im not saying hes the worst keeper we have had but..... does anyone remember that time ha came and stood in front of the wall at a free kick........ DICKHEAD.... the other team just blocked him and passed it into the net.... Anyone remeber who it was against?

  13. Following a post earlier.. I got google to translate that russian website.... funny reading.. especially with the translations....

read their comments at the bottom....

"half of the views are so stupid)))) "

"all players of team Russia higher class than the players from Everton, is a fact, and let not being driven to Bilyu and Shavu"
