  7. To be fair I do think its extremely unfortunate for Evertonians that Bobby decided to bring him with him from Wigan

  10. Actually he isn't! The last time we finished in the bottom half Moyes had made 3 major signings by mid June compared to Bobby's one ( Cleverley being the only player we have actually signed and Garbutt is already an Everton player anyway) http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/doing-business-early-how-everton-9396486
  11. It was the deal of the century when compared to the £6M we spent on Kone!
  12. I seriously doubt that would come as a shock to anybody that has ever looked in any thread on this forum

  14. I don't think we did necessarily play to Roms strengths it was more a case of us actually getting the ball into the oppositions half rather than continuously fucking about with it in our own half The tactic of minding the ball while we wait to get beat really wasn't going to get the best out of any forward never mind Rom And actually in the 22 games he has played in this year, since we started going more direct, he has scored 13 and assisted 4

  16. I think you are completely missing the point, we are not winning Last season we played some of the most mind numbing football I can ever remember, Goodison was like a morgue most weekends. Now I could understand your point if it had got us results but we finished in the bottom half of the table for the first time in a decade Martinez went on record to say he doesn't like to win ugly but going by his record last season it seems he's perfectly happy to lose ugly

  19. I don't think it is unduly negative, in fact I think he got it spot on His apathy towards this Everton team and the dross served up last season resonates with me perfectly I sit smack bang in the middle of the so called singing area in the Gwladys Street and everyone seems bored stiff Most games me and my mates have been goring down for our half time pint by 1530 I know a lot of people who have been thinking exactly the way this guy says ie going the game more through force of habit than actually expecting to be entertained or hoping to win
  20. Rooney left 11 years ago so I didn't really have him in mind Saha was never fit enough but certainly had the talent , and the touch The Yak had a great first season but was woeful after that. In fact it's probably the only time I've ever been happy to see an Everton player pick up a long term injury , he was that shite
