  1. You can see why they stuck with them, their respective chairmen/women know how difficult it was to get in the prem and stay in it with very limited funds available. I can see why licker got mixed up as Sunderland stuck with McCarthy when they went down a couple of seasons ago I think it would be a different story for Bruce, who has had pot loads of cash to spend, and hes spent it. Dont like Birmingham, considering they keep banging on how big they are and how fantastic their supporters are, did you see how many empty seats where in the crowd when we played them. I suppose rowlo can give a bit more insight as he went. What is it like to go there? Anyway, things can change all to quickly and WE are not out of the woods ourselves, although I am extremely confident we will keep moving in the right direction
  2. Maybe you can do one, that is now my last reply to this boring tosser time to ignore Hope Z-Cars can kill this thread along with Xavier
  3. I think Bruce will take Brum down, although the board have publically backed him, lets see how their nerv holds if they go into Xmas bottom I think Perin will get the bullet first though if I was a betting man, can't see that Milan Manderich geing too patient and can understand Birminghams loyalty as bruce has spent a fortune on crocked or passed it players MUZZY IZET
  4. I think old "bulldog chewin a wasp face" Bruce will be under the most pressure I said when we played them that the loosers would be relegated and I think the pressure will be very much on him now

    Willo

He got divorced and his wife got custody of the computer As for Willo, do you reckon he got lulled into the Ladyboy life style
  6. I would have to disagree, I though MOTD2 gave a balanced view, the highlights they showed were balance and I thought that Graham LeSaux ( although I dont like him) was fair in his opinion. We were good yesterday, but we were far from great, there was a few encouraging signs, and it was typically nervy on and off the pitch at times, which is what happens when you are chasing results. Let hope we can continue to build on this and really start to dominate teams rather than hang on
  7. YOU ARE THEREFORE A BIG MEMBER
  8. Im worried that he wont get his chance until theres an allmighty cockup, but true rowlo. You dont change your centre half with 15mins to go to give the new guy a run around do you. He's here for the long term, so if it aint broke dont fix it
  9. Thats the reason. Moyes is very reluctant to change a winning team, hes always done that in the past, a few weeks ago when it needed changing he wasn't available and now joey and wier seem to be doing the biz
  10. Well, go the toilet then
  11. MATCH DAY HERE AT LAST Its been a long week waiting for this match. Most of the results for the teams around us went our way, so if we dont capitalize on this then we need shooting Can't wait, 3 points, hat trick for beattie, and the off to the pub to watch manures misery
  12. Nods in acknowledgement. I feel your pain BOWL BROTHERS I'll have to did out a photo
  13. Its good news. What do they want to hear You can read between the lines as much as you want, but let not knock ourselves when we dont need to. In order to be successful on the pitch we need to be successful off it and vise versa LIKE PEAS AND CARROTS
  14. MEMORY LANE I remember the Villa away game in 87 because it was my first ever away game and I was 15 and went with 3 of my mates, Seems like a life time ago now, but as licker would say "I'm only a babe". didnt we win the league the next game after that againt norwich? Despite all the success of the eights, I cant really remember any stand out moments, I guess when your that young your brains taking so much in that you take those times for granted and its only now looking back that you realise how good thing were. When you think back you could walk into the ground and pay in, you didnt need a season ticket and we were winning the league, shows how football is so popular now. Anyway, my fondest match must be the semi final against spurs in 95, I didn't have a ticket and a few of my mates were going, and who got me a ticket?.............. My RS mate came up trumps because he new a man who new a man Im sure you all know the detail, but I (like someone mentioned about remembering the crowd and the atmos) always remeber how we had three sides of the ground and the massive banners that where passed over the heads of the crowd at both ends before kick off. BRILLAINT STUFF Also that year we beat the mancs and dig dunc scored that header and we won one nil, remember that match for so many reasons, but its still the only time Everton have scored and I got butterflies and had to sit down while everyone was still cheering Best memories are my away day trips, and one in particular in about 96ish when a minibus traveled from my local pub, where me and me bro knew the assistant manager who arranged it to a cup game against York, anyway we got beat but had a grand day out, and that was the first time I met a group of fellas who I still go the match with today. AINT FOOTBALL BRILLIANT
