  1. After a close Friend of mine was around a Championship player during pre-season, my mate said this player was more concerned about the cash/cars he was getting and hardly talked about the game. It is a shame that young guys seem to be footballers, only for the cash, not for the love of the game. Sad really!
  2. It is always a great feeling to buy quality players, but it is especially great when the player signs on for his love of the club, rather than his wallet. So I am very glad to have Baines, and very glad Smith can rot at Newcastle!

  4. Personally, I don't care if he is a great guy. I only care about what he did on the pitch, and there for the most part he failed! I wish him well, but his attitude last year was all wrong. A striker should rise to another striker (AJ) coming in and challenging him, instead we saw the same happen to Beats as what happened to Bent when Beattie came.
  5. The facts are that; 1) We won't be signing Lucho as he wouldn't want to come to us, and wages would be a problem also. 2) If and when Baines signs, a striker is first priority, then a genuine winger, then Vogel if we are to have a balanced squad. 3) If we do have eleven million to spend, then Moyes won't blow it on one player untried and untested in the Prem. Unless the bid is another propaganda tool for his royal bullshitter, KENWRIGHT!
  6. Hopefully yes he will be. Now for more players to come in, as one swallow doesn't mean its summer!
  7. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/baines-deal-close.html Could be done and dusted by tonight, hopefully!
  8. No worries mate, you stick around here and we will make you welcome lad. Especially with that flag of yours!
  9. Actually read the Tribal football link, it states Cadiz have agreed a fee but the player still wants to go to Everton. Here; http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=50601 But it is pathetic that Everton bring the guy in for a medical, then ship him out as his club wants a mill for him. Thats why I scream - KENWRIGHT OUT!
  10. Meaning supporting two clubs with the same devotion. An interesting concept, discuss.............
  11. If that was an lesser team than Liverpool, Gerrard would have been sent off for punching in yesterday Friendly. But as the world loves the scum, he gets away with it. SHOCKING!
  12. I don't trust old Wiki any more, after they said Lucho signed a five year deal with Everton. As a understudy, Wessel is better than Turner. But from what I can remember, is prone to being flappy at corners, just like Turner! And how many players have we had on trail now?
  13. This 2pm rumour came from Toffeeweb, who have a 5% accuracy rate of getting things right. So I would say there probably be no press conference tomorrow unless proven otherwise.
  14. Well if the rest of his game is pants, then it leaves a huge question mark whether to sign him or not. Especially when we struggle to sign Vogel for a million!
  15. That Thomas is crap! Got a bit of pace, can cross a ball, but thats basically is it!
  16. Listen carefully people, IT IS ABSOLUTE BOLLOCKS! We struggled to sign Vogel for one million, let alone bid ten for Luis. It is another 'False Flag' bid from Everton, and I am fed up with this club treating us like lemmings! KENWRIGHT OUT!
  17. Its like Joe Royle all over again! I am seriously pissed that Smith has gone to Newcastle, who else can we go for within such a tight budget up front? If I am vexed at this, imagine Moyes frustration! It just gets worse lads............
  18. My team for season with the current squad is as follows; Howard Neville Yobo Lescott Valente (I hope Baines comes) Pienaar Cahill Da Silva Arteta Johnson Vaughan Subs; Turner Jags VDM Osman Ancicbe Doesn't bode well does it lads?
  19. Where you a Toffeeweb moderator? What exactly does a moderator do anyway????
  20. I suspect he is just making a point / ratcheting pressure on tweedledum and tweedledee - he does like a good flounce from time to time so it is claimed. However, we are busy blowing another golden chance to progress as a team so I know I can't help but worry that it could all be about to go horribly wrong. The root cause is simple when you look at our accounts. The extent to which we have spent beyond our means and driven up the debt (despite flogging everything that is not nailed down) over the last 5 years is staggering. Put simply, even if Wyness made good on the £10m incremental revenue per annum that would only get us break even on our current cost base (debt/net asset decline is nearly 40m over the period despite 10m in one-off receipts, excluding rooney!) - basically we're overspending by 10m per year. In short, even Wyness' fairytale projections would not free up a single extra penny for team building. It would just render our team of Nevilles and Carsleys affordable! Without new ownership / investment and new sources of additional income beyond a ground move we are condemned to a steady decline - the point BK and Wyness make, albeit I'd argue the root causes are different than the ones they spin...and so is the solution!!! Where did you get that from?
  21. Unfortunately with Jags you are spot on! The board is an utter disgrace, there is 35 million coming in from Sky, 60 million in total of this year profit, where is all the money gone?
  22. With Bluekipper, the site administrators would allow all their mates to make racist, prejudiced jokes. Yet would ban others for having a valid view on Everton, or just expressing their horror at all the abuse. Toffeeweb has a problem editor, who allows the similar crap to transpire. But instead of abuse, he didn't allow criticisms of the site and Everton. Pathetic jokers all of them!
  23. I have been to mostly of the UK based Everton forums, and even though this is the most modest and quiet, it is the best thus far. I've been on Bluekipper, there everybody abuses each other and sadly has crude racist/xenophobic/porn undertones. NSNO is just a speculation fest with no substance, and no personality. And Toffeeweb is/was good, but has far too many clowns who support science fiction, rather than the realities at Everton today. Anyway, thats my contribution to my experiences, whats yours?
