i hate it when Liverpool think they have a connection with Celtic. Everton and Celtic will always be the 2 Catholic sides. In fact Celtic used to sing "you'll never walk alone" before Liverpool.
-
Not bad i suppose, we always seem to come into games near the end when we are 1-0 down. I would have loved to beat Blackburn though, they can get annoying sometimes. You only have to look at Savage's mug to work that one out.
Bolton will be revived after their big win, i expect a difficult game again. But IF Yak and Manny are here we can look forward to it.

i know this is a bit late, in fact very late but some of you may have been wondering where the hell i popped up from.
So here iam Jay Bernard, blue from first moment on this earth (and no i wasnt dead). 17 just about to start my A levels after a torrid year doing my AS's. Look forward to disagreeing with most of you and big long discussions .

BK is on some sort of power trip he just likes the fact he can say "look at me i'm a chairman of a football club" he knows as well as the fans do that he has'nt got the funds, or resources to run the club, and i do think he will bail out, towards the actual move but he's bound to insist on still being some sort of head figure at the club so he can get his free ticket and plate of sarnies each week, maybe this is why Robert Earl is starting to move onto the board ever so slowly, maybe thats the plan.
Aye, Robert Earl in my opinion is waiting for the right opportunity to strike. If he indeed put forward the funds to sign Yakubu and Fernandes he is already showing that he can influence the clubs transfer policy. Put it this way he is much more successful than BK and i believe it wont be long before he gets off his seat in the background and takes control.
Where we go from then who knows???

You make some fair points but thats a joke lad how can you call a proposal that's been allowed no time to develope "half baked"? They need to gather all the info to make a decent pitch and you cant do that in a few weeks. If they published a plan without the necissary info (like everton have!) that would be half baked but taking a few weeks to prepare an informative proposal is the way it should be done and that time frame was a godsend to the club because they could push through a rushed vote to try and kill off any opposition.
I have a sneeky feeling the board will rush trough finalising the Kirkby deal to kill of the loop proposal before it grows and when that happens you will see how underhanded they have been.
GoldfishMemory i agree with everything you say, this board are a disgrace for even thinking about moving Everton out of the city. But i still feel we havent reached the end of this story yet. We are but on the last chapter. I can see big movements against the board from KEIOC, and the real fans who want Everton to stay at home.
-
The annyoing thing is those people who wasted their vote by not voting could have made a difference.
"And so the big brother kicks out the brother who once was"
-
Those voters have just made the worst decision of their lives. In 50 years time the city will be all but redshite and we will have been relegated to the outskirts in terms of fan base.
For a team who was in Liverpool first this is a disgrace and shouldnt happen.

Mate I'm one of the ones that's been saying Yak is worth every penny, I'm hardly going to say he's going to be a flop am i?
no of course not, i was merely speculating. And in case your wondering iam also on board the pro-yak steam train. I just got the wrong impression thats all. No need to go all Ninja on me.
-
from what i heard 3 shots were fired and one happened to hit him in the neck. But whatever the circumstances it is a horrific crime and is showing just how bad todays world is becoming.
R.I.P Rhys.
Lets hope the bastard who done it pays.

i think Moyes just didnt want to change anything because of the results they were bringing in. But after the Reading result iam sure we will see changes in the near future. Baines will probably be the first to step up to the plate.
-
I look forward to watching him against Blackburn. I suppose we shall soon see what he can do.
-
While he was playing for us it's fair enough to criticise him, but he's moved on and so should we. He's not the first player (or number 9) to fail here and I'm sure he won't be the last.
Your surely not suggesting Yakubu will flop are you? He now has the number 9 shirt and all the expectation that comes with it. Surely he cant be as bad as Beattie.
-
LOL Wouldn't look good in a RS shirt!
lol quick off the mark there mate . Its indeed a funny decision by Moyes but i guess better teams were not willing to take the risk on loaning him. I can see potential in him but hes gonna have to work hard to even try getting a regular bench place. I bet you Barnsley have never had a Brazilian anywhere near them in their entire history.
-
For prices like that we should be snappin them up. The Scottish league is known for being one of little money, iam sure there is plenty of talent for cheap prices in their league.
-
FFS leave him alone, its people like you who done his confidence no good.
am sure you had a different opinion when he was missin sitters in an Everton shirt.
-
I am sure once he heard we were interested he jumped at the chance to come and join us. Who wouldnt want to move away from the awful fans that are Boro's. The only games they filled their stadium was when they were in the UEFA cup and even then most of them were probably neutrals. He will play with spirit here and he will be like a new player to watch in terms of passion.
My Dad has had me a bet that Viduka will score more at newcastle and that he would have been a better buy as he was on a free. We shall see

lol i have only just noticed this thread now, we need to KTOOF (keep thread on our forum). Speaking of words isnt Cubical a funny word.

i believe wessels has been signed so that ruddy and turner can again both go on loan. I would loan turner to sheff wed again as they really adore him and he played so well for them. I was speaking to an owls fans recently and he was nearly bowing at my feet that we loaned him to them. Ruddy can go anywhere iam sure he can handle it.
-
It is well known Moyes hates anyone playing for England, perhaps its a plot to keep him playing for Everton rather than England. Which to be honest i think most of us would prefer.

"Even though it saddens me to hear about his child"
What happened?
his daughter who was born 5 months ago hasnt spent a day out of hospital, this is why they think he skipped training to be with his daughter. i know you may think this is a lie but if its true you will feel terrible if something happens.
