I'd take him in a heartbeat to be be fair. He's suffered pretty much in the same way as Bent did at Tottenham. Massive (unjustified) transfer fee, and then not living up to the expectations of put on him as a result. He went for not too short of what we sold Rooney for (£21m I think). Ian Wright has always said he needs to go somewhere were he's appreciated a bit more, and given games. If that's going to happen with us, then I reckon we'd get a good player there!

Just read on Sky Sports website, that Moyes still wants to get "5, 6 or 7" players in before the window closes. Sorry to keep the optimistm going, but surely he must have a couple of irons in the fire if he is able to state those numbers. If we didn't have, then I would think it would have just been a generic statement of 'looking to strengthen'.

I think from reading the article you can see that DM is just as annoyed with the situation as everybody else. The comment about about 'why should I take second best... although I might be forced to', indicates that there will defo be some movement over the next 2 weeks but it may not be the big names we're all hoping for. Might find it's more of squad type players (Hunt etc), because when fit we still have an 11-13/14 that can challenge, and isn't too dissimilar to last years.

Just been listening to R5's season preview, with the Italian bloke who seems to everywhere, David Pleat and someone else. David Pleat is a prick! Basically along the lines of David Moyes needs to start looking elsewhere for another job, becasue the reputation he' s gained at is beginning to get tarnished at Everton. What the hell qualifies a no mark like David Pleat to make a judgement like that. What was his greatest success as a manager?

Good players do become available on loan! How did we get Arteta, Pienar, Fernandes and Ferguson (to name but a few good loan signings) in the first place? If Love's agent led the club to believe that he was available on loan and we acted in good faith, then there really is nothing else to be said about it.... apart from his agent is dodgy as fook!

Yeah suppose so. Possible they could have accepted the bid, but we can't do anything about it until after he comes back from the Olympics. Or on the other hand I could be clutching at straws..... again!
