    Bolton (away)

I watched the whole game and basically it was shit i could hardly even watch it as we played about 100 ballls into the box but never even looked like scoring. Saha played terrible everytime the ball went near him he just wanted to offload it without ever loooking like an attacking threat. No one played good except our back 4 and Fellaini is just a God, didn't do much all game but all was forgiven with that winner.
  2. Has just been appointed the coach of the Argentine national team. How does everyone think he will go?
  3. That Cahill one it horrible. But the one of Yak is quite funny.

I agree Yak has been shit but i want us to persist with the 4-4-2 we played against the mancs whilst bringing in cahill, so i want Yak and Saha to stay.

I don't think Ossie was that bad either but I desperately believe Cahill should be in the starting 11 so someone has to go.
  6. If this is true we are all fucked anyway. Think of how fast it would spread.
  7. Us aussies are taking over this site
  8. If i wake up thursday morning to find Hibbert starting at right back and Neville on the bench after his great performance against united i'm going to throw my remote throught the screen.
  9. Seriously i love this bloke, did you see how pumped he got after his goal! I was about to cry with excitement over how good he is going to be for us for years to come.
  10. I watched their game against Stoke and trust me he is a massive threat. Has so much poise when he gets the ball in the box and always seems to be in the right position. I will be shiting myself whenever he goes near it.

Hahaha if only. That would be brilliant. I think we should play the same 4-4-2 as we did against Man U and swap Ossie for Cahill. I know Tim has looked far from impressive when played in the centre of midfield in the past but i think he needs to be given one final chance to prove himself there as he can have such an impact on the game. And anyone who saw how he played for Australia against Qatar during his suspension will tell you he is in some absolute ripper form, granted against crap oppostition but I still think if we are to play our best football he needs to start.
  12. lol that is very optimistic considering we haven't played a complete game for the whole year. I do think we are capable of winning our next 5 but and that would put us right back in the mix.
  13. I watched the whole thing live on TV and it was awesome. Most free flowing football I have ever seen and illustrates exactly why the two teams are having success in the Premier league. They believe that they belong here and have a fair dinkum crack rather than just playing defensively to avoid getting pounded. This will mean that every now and then Hull might get a result like they did against Wigan but this will easily be the most successful year for promoted teams in a long time.
  14. Imagine what we will do to Bolton and Fulham if we play like that!
  15. Any premier league team in Australia would be massive. Whilst i would obviously love to see Everton unfortunately i think there would be a truck load more interest if a big four team came as unless an Australian player has had a particuarly good game they are the only teams that get any coverage here. But i still think that if Everton came and played one of our local teams they would fill the MCG (our biggest and best stadium, holds 100,000).
  16. Yeh i agree he is our best ever performer. I think if Harry Kewell had of been able to remain injury free he might of been a bit ahead. At Leeds he was one of the best players in the Premier League before signing for Liverpool, it messed up his career. But as i was saying i don't think Rasic's comments will be met with much argument.
  17. I'm pretty sure he has a hamstring injury.
  18. I don't think rodwell is as good as Mo at the moment and doubt he ever will be. I stand by what i said about tall, gangle athletes mate they just take a bit longer to completely fill out and learn how to use their bodies properly. Maybe I am just trying to be optimistic about Mo because i would hate to see so much of our money be spent on a player that couldn't perform but i think he is showing positive signs and will be a real player for us in the next year.
  19. We must have been watching different games. Sure he didn't finish the game but what he showed in the first 45 was very promising. Won a truck load of contested headers and not only won them but put the ball in good positions. He even disposessed a few of their midfielders by foot on ocassion and they aren't just your run of the mill midfielders either they are world class. Didn't waste the ball when he had it and all this at the age of 20. I think people see players like Fabregas dominate at age 20 and expect anyone of any quality to be able to do the same, but look at Mo's body composition, it's a known fact that taller more gangly athletes take longer to grasp the co-ordination and skill needed to play any professional sport and the fact he is as good as he is at this age shows how good he will become. Your entitled to your opinion but I hope we can come back to this thread in a couple years so everyone can see how wrong you were.
  20. I didn't think we played that bad, we were outclassed in the second half but no ones work ethic can be questioned. Even Yak tried hard given he was 1 on 4 whenever he got it in the second half. Peanuts looked really good and was our main attacking weapon in the first half. Fellaini was awesome. He gained posession for us countless times whether in the air or through disposessing them by foot and even provided a bit going forward. That was the best I can remember seeing Hibbert play he was even able to get the ball off Adebayor a couple of times. Arteta didn't do a lot but he rarely gave the ball away and was getting marked pretty hard. All in all I actually think it was quite an encouraging performance in what is probably English footballs toughest assignment.
