watched most of the game 2day, and he looked good, the commentators wouldnt shut up about him. his passing and vision was very good, a good throw and also puts in a good ball, he's tall as well which would help our midfield imo. played on the left, and probs is alot better on the right, he was still the best player on the pitch by a mile thou. btw he scored a well taken penalty aswell as a lofted ball which misled the keeper and ended up goin in.

yobo returned from injury and the defence were doin well, no manager is gonna change his defense when there keepin clean sheets. if yobo was english he'd probally cost more, only teams lescott is linked to are 1s below us, man city and villa, yobo was linked with arsenal the las few years, and am sure wenger has a better eye for talent.

bein optomistic with us finishin 4th, but i really dont rate villa, i watched alot of there matches last year and they were v.lucky, and only seem to have the 1 game plan which every team sussed out in the second half of the season, plus ther've lost barry and laursen and i cant see them replacin them with as good players.

Yobo over Lescott?

yobo over lescott any day. yobo gets linked with arsenal every year, lescott gets city. lescott was forced on the left when yobo was fit. yobo's are best cb, people go on about his mistakes but last season both lescott and jags made more, people jus jump on yobo's back.

yobo hardly makes mistakes anymore and has more talent the lescott. lescott only got a game at cb cos yobo was injured and, i have no idea why he played so many games last season because in the 1st half of the season he shud of been dropped to the reserves for his half arsed performance at lb. he is a very good cb but he is only our 3rd best, possibly 4th once rodwells got a bit more experience. 15mil for a player who'd be on the bench with a fully fit squad imo, unless moyes picks him over baines again(hopefully never again cos baines is by far better at that position) wen we have other priorities to adress in the team we'd be mad to turn it down, unless we got took over by some billionaire we cant afford a 15mil player on the bench and only have a 5mil player like osman or pienaar starting.

i'd let lescott go for around £15 mil, but not sell atreta, because with all our injuries this season arteta's has proved jus how much we NEED him.

we don't need another centre back, 3 is fine and the idea is that rodwell will become one too

need - defensive mid, creative centre mid (back-up for mikky, maybe a younger player), atleast one winger and a striker. left back is ok because of lescott but we could use back-up, i'd like mattock but he'd cost a bit

 

oh and osman/gosling = not good enough

osmans not in are best 11 but he's a quility back up player, and wud get in most teams startin 11s below us.

goslings still young and has showed alot of potential imo, and i dont jus mean the goal against l'pool, he's had quite a few scorin oppotunities which he's done well to get into jus needs to take his chances better, has created a fair bit as well.

voronin is awful and didnt have what it takes to make it in the prem. kuranyi is a good player imo, but if we can keep saha and vaughn fit we wont need him. unless moyes is thinkin of playin him on the wing which wud be a bit of a risk.

are fixture list compared to villa's make me believe we could still get 4th , plus they have been quiete crap since nov imo, jus ridin there luck but now its finally runnin out, jus gotta grind out the results now till the ned of the season think arsenal are the most likely to finish 4th thou. think we wud defo of finished top 4 if arteta was fully fit.
