Anyone else think the Everton fans were fantastic tonight? Way to make us all look good guys, could easily hear Follow, Follow and Grand Old Team above the monotony of Fields of Anfield Road.

Great all around performance, and I think Cahill's goal just makes him stand out.

I agree, Victor was good tonight, shouldn't have gone down for that penalty but besides that I thought he gave us a threat on the wing that I didn't think we'd have tonight. It's clear his strength will serve him very well on the wings if we play him there again.

On the note of the 6+5 rule, Everton actually looks good if the 6+5 rule comes in, we already can have an all-English back 4, + Neville and Osman in midfield. Then you've got Vaughan and Anichebe who are both English and Baxter, Rodwell, Gosling and Kissock as prospects.

Numbers won't be our problem, paying their wages will be And like the Fellaini case, getting talented youngsters from countries like Belgium etc. where they need talented nationals to make up their 6, would mean we'd be priced out of the foreign market without new investment.
