NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
There are too many clashes between thew interests of he board and the football team.
He should also not be allowed to feel too comfortable in his tenure.
Like he isn't secure already? There would be all-out war if he left, the fans adore him AND the team adores him, a rare combination.

So close...Twice..
EDIT: Penalty or not?

This odd, second time I've seen imscouting linked on a football forum today by someone with 1 post.
Other was the Football Manager forum.

I'm not watching it but all I notcied from the min by min was: Assist (pass) by Tim Cahill (Everton) from centre of penalty area.
Shows how much we rely on the bugger.

Rodwell playing well. Back 4 are solid enough again. Baines doing a lot of work. Yakubu doing well linking up, Vaughan isn't doing much though.
Spoke too soon.....2-0 Johnson....
-
What's with Vaughan?
-
JESUS too close....
C'mon guys, play up
-
It's on Setanta. Don't you have it?
-
Neville not playing that badly, Baines great going forward, Yakubu's delivery is good, Arteta so unlucky.
If it wasn't for the score and our back 4 this would be okay.
Bring on valente, take off Rodwell, move Ossie to the centre and let baines play LM

Only bright spark so far has been Osman.
ah so close!!!!!
-
Bloody hell, would they ever bloody close down Defoe?
This is getting sad....

Look at what we did last season without Cahill.
And who have we really lost from last season who truly made a difference? (Besides maybe Carsley) We've got Pienaar, Arteta and Cahill in our midfield folks, all good/great players. Yakubu is one of the premierships top strikers. Howard is arguably the best keeper in the premiership, Lescott, Yobo and Jagielka could get a place in nearly any team in the premiership.
With our new signings, hopefully Jacobsen can improve our deep cross from the right side and maybe even play some smart balls to Arteta and kickstart some beautiful corner runs like we used to see. Castillo looks like a good player, Red Star Belgrade are a Champion's League team after all. Saha is a great striker when fit and is a good backup to Yakubu, especially with Vaughan and Cheeby waiting in the wings.
Did I mention Leighton Baines' free kicks can outrun speeding bullets?

Sorry but not being from england i dont quite understand the work permit thing over there. can someone explain why someone wouldn't be granted one
Well the British Home Office only allows players who will add quality to the English league if they're from outside of the EU. Quality is determinded by international caps for a high enough ranked FIFA country.
Otherwise you are not allowed to ply your trade in the UK.

If anyone EVER insults Osman again lol.....
Get in!

Let's see what Vaughany can do eh?

If anyone's interested in seeing how well you could manage Everton in our current situation:

Much harder

Moutinho's incredible on the game, just as good as Cahill, great for my 4-5-1.
I do recommend Hitzlsperger on the left though.
And Baines is one of the best left backs in the game.

Spot on, fussybear. Zenit did just cut the price, although nobody is saying by how much. Spurs still look odds-on to get him, though.

Tottenham pull out. There may be some arse shaving going on in Goodison yet!

He is ok, very overated in Ireland my by friends over here, strange guy as you can see from the link above. No better than what we have a step backwards if we signed him
Overrated in Ireland because he was our topscorer of the qualifiers lol.

Mikel Arteta is only fit enough for the bench for today's clash with Aston Villa.
Arteta has been struggling with a stomach injury and was receiving treatment in Spain earlier this week.
But David Moyes has named an attacking 4-4-2 formation with both Yakubu and Andrew Johnson selected.
Leon Osman, Steven Pienaar will feature in an attacking midfield that also includes Manuel Fernandes and Lee Carsley.
Joleon Lescott continues at left back, while Phil Neville reverts to right back with Tony Hibbert amongst the substitutes.
Phil Jagielka and Joseph Yobo maintain their partnership in the centre of defence.
Joining Hibbert and Arteta on the bench are Victor Anichebe, Leighton Baines and keeper Stefan Wessels.
Villa's own attacking threat looks likely to come in the form of John Carew, Gabriel Agbonlahor and Ashley Young who all start.
I really like that selection. Hopefully Manny keeps on improving for this game. And thank god Hibbs in on the bench, maybe we can get a half decent cross from Neville....
Man Of The Match ... Vs .. Newcastle.

Voted Baines. If it wasn't for Peanut's defensive error causing the second goal, I might've voted for him.
