Just reading on NSNO a possible twist on the transfer front could be bullshit might not heres the link
http://www.nsno.co.uk/e107_plugins/forum/f...opic.php?537582
I kind of have a blind faith in this rumour as my arld fella used to work for Everton, even though he was a dirty Red, and when we signed Van der Meyde and Anderson Da Silva my arld fell had the job of ferrying them by his own personal car ( a scabby Vectra) to their respective accommodation. So I knew these boys were signing before most people really.
Funny thing is this is a shabby way to treat players who are signing for Everton, you would expect Limo's and all that crap, also my Dad could have saved us a few bob really if he had the bottle, because when these players where asking how big Everton was and what about the redshite my Dad was dying to say Everton are shite you should sign for the reds, if he had who knows we could have saved some money. You see that's the big problem we face as well, as half these players are interested in the redshite.

Who knows maybe there will be a few new players paraded before the match against Blackburn or at half time?

Don't write this off just yet...

Interesting I would take him on loan.

This transfer won't happen because they want 20m.
-
He hasn't snubbed us apparently CSKA want the transfer to be permanent and want 15m.

My reply on 606: "As an Everton fan, I think Lawro's prediction for Everton is pessimistic. Obviously, Everton do need to buy, but remember that last season Cahill and Arteta were missing quite a lot, and Fernandes took time to settle and Everton were still fifth. Cahill, Fernandes and Arteta are raring to go now and some of the younger players will make their mark, particularly Vaughan and Rodwell."
when did we sign him? get a grip.
-
I hope this is so, I think I'm one of the few people who thinks he could bag us 15-20 goals a season (although he is streaky).
Love, Yak and Cahill right behind would be a 50 goal force.
I hear there is a hitch as no one is sure who represents Love.

Someone smash a mirror at Goodison?
-
If you mean Michael Bradley, he is still a possibility if the M'bia deal falls through.
I hope not Bradley is weak.
-
if every remembers last year it was the same spurs will break into the top 4 but wer better than them
What he said Who are Spurs, still think they crap. I still believe we will be there pushing signings or not.

Ok, i have a suggestion to make, so if someone can pass it up to EFC management, that'd be great
Espanyol, the 2nd team from barcelona, is having financial problems, and there's a guy there that's on top form, at the moment, called Luis Garcia.
Our "dear" rivals benfica have been after him pretty much all summer, but the spanish side is asking for what benfica think it's too much, around €12M, roughly £9.4M.
I honestly dont know how good a player he is, but he had a wonderful last season, earning him a spot on the spanish team at the euro.
for your consideration
Luis García Fernández? He's gash.

As much as i would love to see that midfield, Manny definatly is NOT going to happen, as i have stated in previous threads, Valencia's manager has publically spoken about how Manny has impressed him during pre-season and he wants to keep hold of him as he remains in his plans for this season.

well, i think this is a bit of rumour mongoring on the part of a clearly benfica-sided paper, but...
http://www.abola.pt/nnh/ver.aspx?id=146260
It says basically that, acording to english media, EFC hasn't given up, and it's studying a way to make a bid of about €23M.
that seems alot to me, tbh, given what i've read lately about ur funds for signings. Anyways, it quotes the BBC sports section site, so maybe someone may want to do a check around if there's anything new.
23 million euros is close to £18 million, seems quite a leap up from the £13 they offered last week.
I lent Bill 5m, he's going to pay me back in kind .

Can't believe some of you want Cahill dropped.
I think he's so vital to Everton - cracking player and bloke.
I wouldn't drop Cahill, he's just not ready yet. When he is fit he will play simple as.
-
This is him
He will be fit and I think he is the kind of player we could throw straight in, left footed by the looks of it, a lefty and righty up front.
-
disagree with you and agree with steve. Manny is not better than Osman, no way.
I agree I think Osman is a decent team player and chips in with some spectacular often crucial goals.

Off Topic.
surely 4 2 3 1 would be a perfect formation for us this season if we can sign 2 central midfielders, I wouldn't mind if we only signed 2 and nothing else as long as they were class.
a few names been mentioned have been Cana, Moutinho, Fernandes, M'bia, Johnson & Tymoschuk
If we can persuade just 2 of these to join us we could end up with a quality team. ( I no I have said this alot before )
Imo I think we have probably give up on moutinho because we probably couldnt afford him and another 2 so why not get manny for 8 million and Cana for probably the same amount? 16 million spends isnt to much to ask for.

It would be amazing how much better we would be with just them 2 added, all them midfielders on that list could do that job and its not like they all have 20 million price tags, I no its easy for me to say this but how hard can it be, they have all been linked with leaving there teams, why not offer for them all and see what happens then choose.
No place for Ossie?

Im starting wonder if people actualy want a footballer or a hitman
Id much rather have m'bia over cana if that was possible
You know we have had a hole to fill since Ferguson retired, we need a no bullshit presence on the pitch. I would settle for either player if I'm honest.
-
Thats the best mix you can have
The rest of the premiership would shit themselves if we signed him, a tough tackler with a deft touch. He makes Rooney look tame, as I have said before his style excites people and would be an instant hit with the blues. Go get him DM!

LOL propa irelivant but it made me laf

I'm hearing things like "Good Striker at Leeds" and "Great squad signing"???????
Guys his goal scoring record at leeds was 38 goals in 172 games ( 1 in 4.5 games???) and remember they were an attacking side then and its even worse for his career : 68 goals in 354 games ( 1 in 5.2 games ) !!!!!!
The price is not 1.75mill it will be £3mill and he will be picking up £40k - £50k per week on at least a 4 year deal ie £10.4mill in wages so if you all think he is worth close to £14mill then you are mad!!!!
Save the 3mill and add it to the AJ money and spend on someone quality, would sooner have 1 or 2 good players than a hundred Alan Smiths!!!!
P.S My old man is a NUFC fan and he and his mates are praying we take him off there hands, they hate him up there!!!
It don't matter what any of us thinks, if Everton sign him you not going to sing and cheer if he scores? That's a big if! I don't like rubber lips never have, but players work differently at different clubs anyone thats played the game knows that, sometimes you just click. Moyes must have seen something he likes, if it don't work out fine, he won't be the first or last crap player we have signed.

Moutinho
in Rumourama - Everton Transfer Rumours
Posted
Love wants to leave CSKA after a fallout with management, he will leave just on a permanent signing though. Everton won't spend 15m on an untested player in the Premiership, stands to reason. I would risk it, but its easy to see why Everton won't.
I guess its the same with Moutinho, good player but 18m? forward the season and he turns out pony, how do you re-coup that? Football has gone crazy and old BK is right if your Chelsea it don't matter losing 20m on a crap player because they won't feel the pinch, we spend 20m at the moment and to be frank if the player is crap we are fooked.
