  1. ow yer thats that dude who sits there who thinks he has all the contacts an they talk to him when he has like 7 mobile phones lined up around him haha and he allways manages to slip in a riquelme is coming to everton thing lol

hope this one is true though its the kind of player nevile was talking about that we need, a real match winner

still need the cars' like figure to compliment him mind :)

He plays Harry Hill's position.......I think.

  2. I know it's a bit radical but what if we didn't go for a central pairing and went 3 5 2?

    Lescott Jags Yobo

    Baines playing left wing back

Bring in a right wing back

    M'bia def mid

Sell Johno and bring in a centre forward.

    Sorted. Done. Someone email Moyes.

How about Neville right back, Lescott and Jags in the middle and Baines left back with Joey playing in Carsley's old position. I remember we played Joey in midfield a few times down the years. Joey would then be our first line of defence....just a thought.

  3. Well let's all not argue about Andy, I can see why people are angry because he has let himself down and the club. Andy is going to have to pull of some Rocky style comeback off if he wants to win over the majority of us fans. Yes, once upon a time Van der Meyde was a class act and probably does still possess some ability, the question though is fitness. The premiership is an unforgiving league which is based around fitness first then ability. If Van der Meyde gets fit this pre season he has to maintain it (which will be hard considering he is more injury prone than big Dunc), secondley he has to win over Davie Moyes, which is going to be a massive ask seeing that he has let him down time and time again.

I would love Van der Meyde to come good because he does have better technical ability than Arteta and Pienarr, but he obviously isn't as proffesional as the aforementioned players or as fit. Andy has made the come back speech every season so far and hasn't done it. Last chance saloon I think, its down to Andy to prove us all wrong. Lets not get wrapped up anymore in this debate, I don't think he will even complete pre-season.

  4. papers again linking us with him

Don't want Bentley, yeah he is one of the fastets players in the Prem (I was suprised too) good delivery, butI think his attitude is wank. Defensive midfield, if Neville could pull the game he had for Man U when he dominated Viera a few years back out the hat week in and out I would stick him there but he hasn't re-produced anything like that since!

  5. Theres alot of interest in this young man, lets hope he keeps his feet on the ground. Lets hope too that he's got trusted people around him to help him make one hell of a tough decision and that he isn't influenced too much by his agents.

1st team football in the premier league or three or four years warming the bench for the big four, perhaps a start in the carling cup and the probability of being loaned back to a championship club anyway.

Lets face it, we should have moved a lot earlier if we wanted him. Hate to be defeatsest but he will choose Manu or Arsenal over us.

  6. Jags showed last night that when the midfield doesn't turn their back and run away (as our midfield does) then he doesn't hoof. I think it's unfair to label Jags as a hoofer tbh.

QFT, Jags looked decent at passing last night as the midfield were willing recipitents. That's why we will look better with a couple more quality midfielders, but I do have a lot of confidence in Joleon more than Yobo. Oh and Carragher is a bag of shite wrestler.

  7. Oh my god, some of you guys must have a screw loose. There is no f**king chance shandy andy will come good, useless waste of millions of £ on wages. Has done nothing, is doing nothing and will not do anything. Should have his contract terminated today.

That's what people want to know, he is not in Moyes plans, so what's it to be? Either he will come good or terminate his contract, we just want answers.

  8. I do feel for him and I have always wanted him to do well but its not going to happen unfortunatly. I have always wished he would come good in the end but he just cant get back on the bench let alone the first team. Hes got quality we all know but its starting to dissapear and I fear for his career. I would love to ask Moyes about Andy and what future he has at the club and why he isnt even on the bench when he is one of the most experienced players in Europe in our team!

Josh your right kidder, I think a few Evertonians want to ask Moyes the same question mate. Its shite being left in the dark.

  9. I am quite surpised how much goodwill there still is for him to be honest.

Granted, his child is ill and as a parent I echo what Mike says, that comes first with anything else a distant second. And to be honest, when you have the money, this country is probably better than most for accessing healthcare.

However, there still has to be some effort made. And frankly, what we have had so far surely makes his signing one of the worst pieces of business we have ever done.

I of course hope we get to see something of him, no doubt the talent is there. But in the unlikely event that you are reading this Andy...time to step up the plate for your employer.

I think everyone knows he has talent and hopes he will get a rocket up his arse and come good. We wait and hope, if he can't do it for himself or the army of blues supporters he should at least do it for his daughter, who when she gets older would be upset that her father threw away his career.

  10. If it were my child and I felt the best place for her was where she is...the place that is the only home she's ever had...then I'm sorry but any other consideration would go out of the window; fuck football and whatever anyone thought about me. Think any parent would feel the same.

I think he should be given a chance to shine. You just don't forget how to be a quality footballer (which Andy is). We all know that if he gets fit, hell it would be like a new signing in every sense of the term. I heard he looked freaking awesome in the states training last year, take him on pre-season get him fit and watch him fly. Andy when fit is a much better player than Arteta how Moyes drags it out of him I don't know, but if he does imagine him and Mikel on either wing.

I pissed off with him though as it is a tragic waste of talent and wasting someone elses dreams I would cut of my left tezzer to have the chance of playing for the Blues
