  1. If AJ was sold wouldn't we have enough left to be able to cope playing one up front. With VIC/JV as back up to Yak I would be happy to spend any money from AJ on a better midfield
  2. If I am honest I would be more than happy to go into the coming season with the strikers we curently have. AJ had a mediorcre season last year but if he gets 12-15 goals and Yak gets about the same wouldn't that be as good as most prem clubs. JV and vic can both score goals in important games. If you look at clubs like villa/pompey etc so they have any better stirking options than us.
  3. This makes it all the more important to keep AJ
  4. I think Vaughan and Anichebe need games they are now old enough to be used for a whole season. Mann/peanuts and Arteta were all loaned until we made them perm so i think we need to be looking at it that way. I can't believe everyone expects us to go out and bung 15 mil at a player. Bentley is not worth 17 mil and I would not risk our whole transfer budget on someone who has no loyalty and would be looking for the next best thing
  5. I am not worried as we have been active with Ramsay early on so we obviously have money to spend just think moyes doesn't spunk cash without fully researching it first
  6. I just had a look at the sky squad list for everton and we are looking very light outside the first team we have very little cover so although letting AJ go would be good business we need to get some decent loans and frees in to boost the numbers
  7. I would let AJ go he hasn't cut the mustard like the yak does and I think work rate is nothing if he doesn't score goals. If we are resigned to playing one upfront I would be happy with going with the 3 we have yak JV and Vic and get a back up in on loan. I would then spend the money on 3 midfielders who would improve the first team. I think manny a DM and an attacking mid would be good.
