  1. Where´s Coleman? It´s beyond a joke now, he deserves a game at least in the cup

This.....................how to demotivate someone in three easy lessons, he should be in for this one but it seems the boss is taking it seriously

  2. Seriously i havnt seen or heard anything on victor for a very long time where is he?

Last I heard he was still trying to recover from Kevin Nolans career threatening tackle last season and the chances of him doing so were against him, it is that bad

  3. Yeah Jo is as good as gone. The official site wouldn't have published such critical comments if he were to stay. The same happened with Lescott.

When did Lescott bugger off on an unauthorised holiday? different kettle of fish here Louis. This is reminiscent of the Yak not returning from the last ACN. DM must believe he is through if not why suspend him when we are short of strikers, a hefty fine would have been more appropriate..............depending on how much of his wages we pay!

  4. I absolutely stunned that people can be criticising Pienaar! He has been the best player in our team for the last two years, especially at the end of last season. I wouldnt say the game against Burnley was his best by any means but he still worked his nuts off, helped Baines defensively, made plenty of runs to create space for others and he helps us get the ball down and play football. He may not have the finishing ability that some do BUT he does some much more than your average winger would do that it compensates this void.

Also another thing about the stats, dont forget that Arteta takes most of the free kicks and corners when he is in the team so his stats should be better and seeing that Pienaar is at least there or thereabouts says quite a bit about his impact on the team.

Hold on mate, I think you are being a tad hypersensitive here, I rated the Pieman on his display against Burnley, full stop, which in my opinion was fair and accurate. The vote was for MOM not player of the season

  5. First the niceties. Great to hear from you again Jim, hope you're doing ok.

Now back to the real thing, NO i never got the answer. To be honest after my 6 months detained under Section4 of the Mental Health Act 1983, I had to get my life back in order. I re-grew the beard that i pulled out hair by hair with tweezers and took up yoga and emigrated to Tibet to forget about obscure connection quizzes and now this post..........................agggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh, Wheres my pills :D

so you want a clue :lol::lol: , I said this one would last, thanks Bill for not giving the answer (he knew all along :D

  6. Felli and the Pieman both deserve great credit for their performances against Burnley but my vote goes to Heitinga's control of the middle was for me the performance of the day. He was cool in everything he did, his vision for creating from the back is superior to anyother player we have available at present, including Joey Yobo and I feel he will only improve from here on out. Felli was nearest to him with the Pieman third (Steven P lost the ball too many times and his choice of pass could have been better but no one on the face of this earth could say he wasn't an all commited EFC player...........never stops running, never stops trying and provides excellent cover when the full back goes forward

  7. Thanks for the welcome lads. Just to report that my op was partly successful, I may need more surgery this year whilst my wifes op was a total success, it took two surgeons seven hours to remove her tumour but it has since proven to be low grade so she will not need chemo and with any luck will be back at work next month. My poor old dog is still hanging on, I have wanted to have her put down but the rest of the family won't have it so imo she is suffering for their sake..........no matter it is a New Year and we are still here.

I have been posting on GOT for a while but I also have a soft spot for you lot, nice update by the way

  8. Beware of history..........I remember smugly thinking we were going to take these to the cleaners when 2 - 0 last time they came to GP, we lost. I would field Coleman and Duffy along with Agard and Vaughan resting Saha, Pip needs games so he should start and tbh Bily needs an easier match..............that said we will also need a very strong bench.....just in case, complacency is a terrible thing

  9. This must have been one of the most shocking sackings in football history, talk about panic from a Board who only ever sold, never ever bought. Most will know that I always saw Alan as a replacement for Moyes if he ever decided to pack it in.............come back Alan most of us rate you as an old Blue and a bloody good coach and, despite what happened at PNE a good manager. A mate of mine from Preston says that the local support are up in arms about it, but a Board like that never listens and clearly has scant knowledge of football :suicide_anim:

  10. IMO this entire business surrounding Pienaar stinks, thesae rumours that have surfaced about this and that club wanting him have in my mind been put there by his agent in order to get the club to increase his contract, called me old fashioned but I don't like to see that type of dealing at EFC.

His value will be between £8/10 mil and if we needed to raise money would be worth accepting although I do believe DM will increase his contract and he will not go anywhere <_<
