  1. Villa won't keep this up. I went for Arteta, bossed the game again.
  2. I'm expecting 3 points for this one. If Saha and Anichebe are back then I'd expect to go: Howard Hibbert Jags Lescott Baines Arteta Neville Fellaini Pienaar Cahill Saha I would go: Howard Neville Jags Lescott Baines Anichebe Arteta Fellaini Pienaar Cahill Saha
  3. I'm going for a 1-0 win with a Lescott header.
  4. I was watching the game so I concentrating on the film. But oh well
  5. As I was with the City fans I had to keep quiet, outside at the end it really kicked off, I couldn't walk out with the Everton fans who were all fenced off, but somehow a few got in to the bit I was in, got a vid of the goal: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=9bVsvolm_Ek
  6. 1-0 to us Cahill with a header I was with the City fans unfortunatly and the atmosphere was dead. Their faces after Cahill's goal, oh it was funny.
  7. 1-0 to us. Cahill with a header. I'd go Howard Neville Jags Yobo Lescott VDM Osman Fellaini Pienaar Cahill Anichebe
  8. Fat Ronaldo until Jan :smile_anim: Then Podolski. Baxter and Jukewitz?
  9. Because Yak's out for the season, Vaughan is injured, Saha's injury at spurs doesn't look great.
  10. Pool A: Australia New Zealand England Papua New Guinea Pool B: Tonga Samoa Ireland Pool C: Fiji France Scotland Quarter Final: Winner of B v Winner of C Semi Final Winner of A v Winner of QF Runner up of A v 3rd of A Final: Winner of the semi finals
  11. After the good away form and some good results at the JJB over the last couple of seasons, I expect us to come away with 3 pts. 2-0 Saha and Fellaini.
  12. Arsenal have played the best football for the last 4 years and what have they won? Nothing.
  13. Should grab another three points tbh. I'd go with: Howard Neville Yobo Jagielka Lescott Anichebe Fellaini Osman Pienaar Saha Vaughan SUBS: Nash, Hibbert, Baines, Rodwell, Arteta, Cahill, Yakubu In Arteta, Cahill and Yakubu we have 3 players who can change the game and would have been regulars 1 or 2 years ago.
  14. Everton are planning to relaunch a bid for 22-year-old Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Moutinho after having a £12m offer rejected in the summer. (Daily Star) Imagine Arteta - Fellaini - Moutinho - Pienaar.
  15. Osman seemed to be playing deeper on Saturday to allow Fellaini to get in the box.
  16. Why did Matt Upson get the England nod before Jags?
  17. CASILLAS RAMOS PUYOL JAGIELKA LAHM RONALDO YAYA TOURE MOUTINHO KAKA PIENAAR MESSI HOWARD LESCOTT YOBO CAHILL ARTETA YAKUBU SAHA
  18. Conceded 17 goals at home all through last year. 8 already in 3 games. Shocking.
  19. howard neville jagielka yobo baines osman castillo cahill arteta yakubu saha
  20. Jagielka is playing very well. We went 60mins without conceding a goal, must have been the longest this season apart from the West Brom game. Just shows again why Marouane Fellaini is a player that can't be thrown straight in. Castillo has been the better one to adjust to the PL's pace. For Liege i'd line up like: Howard, Neville, Jagielka, Yobo, Baines (Lescott still looks shakey and needs to be dropped again) Arteta, Castillo, Cahill, Osman, Saha, Yakubu. Best moment of the match yesterday - Saha's shot. Remember Neville and Carsley doing that role. But we need Pienaar, as we can push Osman into centre mid where he does the box to box role, with Castillo and Fellaini competing for defensive mid. We must try 4-4-2 though.
  21. Not a sending off for me. Should appeal. Very quiet today, but our tactics was hoof it anywhere and the Yak wasn't quick enough to chase the balls being fed. When Saha came on there was a bit of spark. Saha a full starter for me now. The 4-5-1 doesn't work without Carsley. Extremely surprised Neville was picked at DM, I thought Castillo was a definate. And you can see why we have conceded so many from set pieces as we don't mark the man at the back post.
  22. Howard, Neville, Yobo, Jagielka, Baines, Osman, Castillo, Cahill, Arteta, Yakubu, Saha Fellaini is still 20 and has only played 2 prem games, to throw him in to the derby ahead of Castillo is a joke.
