  1. Condolences and RIP Mrs Moyes.....God Bless All
  2. Can EvertonFC allowed to hold stocks/mutual funds from other industries like Airlines, Petrochemicals? Instead of trying to make money from football alone, maybe EvertonFC should also buy into the shares of some performing companies. I am sure they are not allowed to buy into another foortball club due to conflict on interest but i suppose it should be just fine if they buy some stocks from other industries.....if they had done these over the years, these stocks could have been a cusion for the club when these stocks started to pay dividends.... I suppose thats how RealMadrid could have worked.....So its time for EvertonFC to invest in high potential growth stoks for the future.... yes yes we can argue..."how da fick will they invest when they can't even buy player above 4M??!!"....lol...agreed....but still they have to find ways to reduce debts and increase cash flow....imagine the dividends from the invested stocks helping us pay of interest of loans yearly?? phew!! that would be a great help!! ......
  3. Speed Up if we want Baines.....Man Utd are after him if Heinze beans decides to join Liverpool!!! Source: http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...2626246,00.html The Article "Heinze saga may affect Baines Gabriel Heinze is set to return from his holiday for talks with Manchester United, who could turn to Wigan's Leighton Baines as a replacement. he Argentina defender is seeking legal advice to see if he has grounds for pursuing a complaint against the Red Devils over their refusal to sell him to Liverpool. Heinze is contracted to United for another two years but the club's chief executive David Gill gave his agent a letter confirming the figure they would be prepared to sell him for, thought to be around the £6million mark. However Gill claims he made it clear the left-back would not be sold to any of their three major domestic rivals. Speaking to the News of the World, Heinze said: "I am on holiday but may return next week and say more. "For now, I'm a United player. But I'm not saying anything else." The paper claims United have offered Real Madrid and Juventus the chance to sign Heinze in a bid to stop him moving to Anfield, while Gill has moved to clarify the issue of "the famous letter". He said: "I wrote to Heinze and his agent to give them an indication of what value we require for, effectively, an overseas transfer. "If there is overseas interest and the valuation is right, I can see him moving on." Several of Sunday's tabloids believe Wigan's Leighton Baines could be the unlikely beneficiary of the row, no matter where Heinze's future lies. Baines snubbed the chance to join Sunderland in a £6million move recently as his camp apparently believe he can shine at a higher level. And he could now get the opportunity as Liverpool and United are reported to be keen on the England Under-21 man and are planning moves - if necessary - once Heinze's situation is clarified. " What are our chance if Man Utd or the red shites are after him???

    Salt Lake

Heard Salt Lake is one of the lowest ranking club in their league? If that is true, a 2-0defeat is worrying for Everton FC..... Hopefully they will buck up when it comes to league football....
  6. Hahaha...spot on mate...thats why i check the official site even at 4AM due to my time difference with the hope that we would have signed some stars!! Phew!
  7. At least this is an assuring statement from the club... "Everton fans have been reassured the Blues' squad will be bolstered further before the closure of the transfer window on August 31. The Blues are set to complete the signing of South African international Steven Pienaar from Dortmund on a season-long loan early next week, subject to a work permit application being successful. He would become the second major summer acquisition following the arrival of Phil Jagielka from Sheffield United. But chief executive Keith Wyness has stressed there will be more - and that the Blues are working tirelessly to ensure the squad is of a sufficient size for the 2007/08 campaign. He said: "Some transfer windows develop early, some develop late. We will have the bodies and the faces in before the start of the season. We are very active in a lot of things behind the scenes." Wyness also believes the high-spending that has taken place at a number of clubs during the summer is not the sign of a new dramatic trend in Premiership spending. He added: "It is going to be an exciting season and probably the most competitive season in the league's history. A lot of clubs have strengthened in different ways with new ownership. There has been an inflated value on some of the transfers. "I believe we have a value of a good player, what we consider a fair value, and we will not go above that. There is no doubt new stores of cash have made inflation happen. There has also been a rush of blood from new owners but I am sure things will settle back down." Source: http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/blue...w-arrivals.html This bold statement makes me wonder who else are in the pipeline.......hmmmmm.....
  8. We are Fcuked in this one again!!! sigh.,,,,,Hopefully DM has more players in mind to bring in ...Seems like he is looking for players who can multirole...players who can play in more than one position,.,,,even if alan smith is to come to us, i guess its because he can play as a striker and has experience playing in midfield(bad at it)........fingers crossed, more players please!

  10. Licker...hahaha nice article mate....kinda started liking the fella already!!.....time to throw him into the field whenever rooney or gerrald plays! and hold him back in a cage when our poor kilbane plays!
  11. Let's hope he has the skills and flairs of Manny...just how he dribbled in the Arsenal game!! Phew!! let's hope!!!
  12. Talking about Steven Piennar, he seems like a quality to me.... this is what i found on the net abt him "Pienaar comes of age Pienaar factfile South African international Date of birth: 17 March 1982 Previous club: Ajax Cape Town South African football is crying out for a new star. A golden generation, composed of the likes of Lucas Radebe, Doctor Khumalo and Mark Fish, have served Bafana Bafana gloriously. However, their time at the top of the international game is coming to an end. Now South Africa needs new talents to replace that ageing generation. One real hope for the future is Steven Pienaar. The young midfielder has been receiving rave reviews for his club side Ajax, so the BBC sent me to watch Ajax's Uefa Champions League encounter against Arsenal. I can confidently say that reports of Pienaar's quality have not been exaggerated. The 20 year old was superb against the English champions, running the midfield with a combination of intelligent positional play, tireless running and pinpoint passing. It was a bravura performance - and gets even better when one considers Pienaar was up against the man many people believe is the best midfielder in the world, Patrick Vieira. The English sporting press, which is notoriously difficult to please, was almost unanimous in its praise of the slight midfielder. And why not? Pienaar's vision and quality on the ball were major reasons why the Dutch side were able to take a point off Arsenal. None of this, of course, means Pienaar is suddenly one of the best players in the world. To deserve that accolade, a player must perform consistently at the very highest level for a number of years. Nevertheless, Tuesday's game gave strong indications that Pienaar has the talent to aim for such a status. After a disappointing World Cup in which Pienaar was part of the squad but did not play a game, it will surely not be long before the talented youngster is given a real run for Bafana Bafana as well. 13. Someone bought Reo Cocker for 7M... and we are getting Vogel for free eventhough he is full of experiences!! This is a good buisness i would say!! Good move moyes!!!
  14. Cardiff have turned down two bids from Everton for their highly-rated defender Chris Gunter, BBC Sport understands. The 17-year-old made his full international début for Wales in the friendly draw with New Zealand in May. Gunter was handed his début for the Bluebirds in a League Cup tie in August and went on to make 16 first-team appearances for the club. His performances for the Championship side have attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs. Gunter usually performs at right-back but has also filled in at left-back for the club because of injuries. The Newport-born youngster is rated highly by Cardiff manager Dave Jones and he was also recognised by the Football League when he was awarded their Apprentice of the Year last season. Jones is keen for the player to continue his development at Ninian Park. Chairman Peter Ridsdale has already turned down bids for some of their players, but with the club looking to finance their new stadium he has admitted he would be willing to sell at the right price Source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ton/6229236.stm
  15. That was a sublime finish indeed!! class!!! LOL
  16. Toon and Toffees in Queudrue quest Newcastle and Everton are chasing Fulham defender Franck Queudrue, according to the player's agent. The former Middlesbrough left-back is desperate to quit Craven Cottage after a bust-up with boss Lawrie Sanchez over his style of football and has already held informal talks with Newcastle, according to the Journal. The newspaper claims the Frenchman has his heart set on a return to the north-east, having left Boro last summer. Queudrue's agent Dominique Six said: "Newcastle and Everton regard Franck as a possible signing. "Some Premier League clubs are looking for a left-back and Franck could be a good choice. He's a professional and is under contract to Fulham. "But if an opportunity occurs, I will definitely study it." Source: http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...2474364,00.html Comments? Views?
  17. Welcome Phil! It was a sleek move ideed....there was no talk on papers/website of "Phil arrived at everton for medical"..."phil undergoing medical" and so on.It seems it was done some time back quietly. If this was the approach, i am sure we already have few more new player who could have done the medical but just awaiting for them to sign on the dotted lines..... Hoping for the best ....................................................................................................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
  18. But i suppose i saw a bit of flair and skills (apart from the tackle) eventhough he was on the field for only a few minutes! Let's hope he progress and do wonders!
  19. Phew when was the last time in the last 10 years or so we were able to say that?...Club in the right direction for sure!
  20. Or maybe he claimed that he wanted to sign for us and out of excitment EFC posted the article on the official site only to realise that he changed his mind and decided to sign for some other club????
  21. Damn!! i wish this article is not true!! lol
  22. READ THIS........ "Juan Roman Riquelme who is currently on a 5 month loan at boca juniors is likely to leave Villarreal this summer and return to Europe. His mother is fully recovered from her health and his ties with Villarreal are non-negotiable. His likely destination seems to be Everton who are willing to spend 8m on the player. Riquelme is not a player who likes to play for big big clubs and likes to be the big fish in the small pond and played against everton in the champions league. Heinze, Tevez and Maschareno have reported very good things about Everton and their team. Moyes is keeping very quiet but did say on a flight to shelbourne the other day that a big deal is very close. one that will put everton on the footballing map. " Source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A23622536 Who da fick wrote this article? sounds like a bitter red shite!
  23. I suppose they wrote the article to display to the public on a specific date but for whatever reason or because of mis-com or programming error that they could have accidently posted.... But i have a strong feeling that we have signed him the "EVERTON WAY".... lol
