  1. We as blues know. David Moyes is a man of principle... There is no way Kenwright or that would sack him, hes too well thought of, and to be fair, could he sack him, hes hardly helped him out the past two years regarding transfers.. If Moyes was ever to leave us, it would be int he summer, when he knows we then have time in pre season to look elsewhere, as Matt said BS

  2. With regards to CraigB's point, all I would say is that Felli is better deeper and Arteta is better higher up the pitch. Yes they can swap and if for whatever reason Felli goes forward, arteta can sit a little BUT in general it should be Arteta that should be breaking forward because he is better technically and generally he is better at drifting into space and creating openings. Felli scored against West Ham because he was moved forward by Moyes, not because he was 'rotating' with Arteta.

Yeah your right mate, point taken.

  3. Hmmm agree and disagree with a few points here.. yeah Mikky Sideways aint been too clever this season, we all know this, and no matter of deiscussing it, is going to change it.

I don't agree with this Felli business though, in terms of he shouldnt be crossing the halfway line and he isnt creative. The lad 90% of the time is so assured with the ball to his feet, and if he had stayed behind the halfway line this weekend, we wouldnt be sitting here, thinking thank fuck for his equaliser.

If you watch the game, it seems they inter change a lot during the match, Arteta tends to start the balls fromt he back, but felli does this also, and it seems at times when we go forward the same thing happens... I i dont know what his problem is at the moment, but it could be a little confidence, when he recieves the ball behind the halfways line or just over it, he seems to immediately look for the sideways pass. But have you noticed, as seen for the coleman goal v west ham away most recently, when he gets the ball midway into the opposition half he then starts going forward trying to pick a pass in which he did for cahill to cross to coleman... Ive rambled but still not come to a conclusion.

Someone just tell him to get his act together!!

  4. Sounds liek good business to me to be fair

Problem is hes a defender, is he a central defender? If so, these positions are hard to fill unless you have maximum experience, so you cant really see him playing for many years yet.

If he were a winger or that then obviously, they tend to be thrown in a little younger.

I still think good move. As someone mentioned earlier, get them in earlier, and hope they fulfil there big potential, rather than miss out and see the player grow to be a 10 - 20m world class defender.

On a slightly different tip, he's english but has lived in portugal for a large portion of his life, so i would think he has the english "rough" side of defending, coupled with the portuguese "cool" way of playing out of defence. Hmmm sounds interesting.

  5. It's monopoly board game tactics, get your houses built asap, get the money in steady and buy anything that your opponents could use to strengthen their position, every now and then join an auction, drive up the price for a lemon like the water works and let someone pay over the odds.

We have got the two browns, we have mortgaged bond street and park lane but we are now reliant on selling our get out of jail card in the hope of building one house. Only solution we have Is to land on free parking to pick up the big kitty in the middle (buy out)

    Sorry, got carried away there.

    brilliant! very good analysis man!

  6. 8mil for pienaar in January!!! 4mil tops ... Hence the reason Moyes mentioned if we do sell him in Jan then he would only have enough for a loan signing...

All these names being through out here is a bit laughable, as if we would sell 4 - 5 players in January!! Have you seen the Jan transfer window these days... As tight as a ducks arse!

  7. How fickle football fans are... I read one or two posts here and i read that article posted.

I remember a few years ago, cant remember which season now, its escaped my mind for the moment, 2005ish? and we found ourselves at the foot of the table, couldnt win a game, moyes was close to the sack judging by radio and newspaper colums, and guess what the usual shite came out from everton fans.. You guys really wind me up sometimes. Now i'm not going to revert to the same old moyes defence.. But looks what he's done inthe past, finance, league positions, europe etc... But when will we realise this is football, we arent the best team in the league and unfortunaltey teams go through periods like this, as mentioned if some of our half chances would have gone in, we wouldnt be talking about all this.

I'd liek to end on, politely telling the moyes must go and FUCKING OWEN COYLE to quietly sit in a corner and think about what you have just said... I'm sitting here now laughing, that people would sack moyes and bring coyle in... As mentioned also previously we are past the days of bringing under rated managers in to reform the team, in hope more than anything, because moyes done this when he took over, thats why one of our main players is on 70+ thousand a week..

Moyes is still our manager and will be for a while to come, and HE IS STILL THE RIGHT MAN FOR THE JOB.

  8. What!? Heitinga had a good, if not noticeable, game. Anyone else notice that once he was taken off, Blackpool started to push forward alot easier????

Thats because he was our defensive midfielder mate, of course if you take a DM off its gonna open the game up to the opposition. Moyes said that in his interview afterwards, that he went for it, by brining on Beckford ..

I just think Heitinga is way of the pace, he doesnt do anything to suggest to me that once Fellis back he deserves to start.

I gave my MOTM to Pienaar .. Looked dangerous until he had to go off. Always wanted the ball and made his passes worthwhile and also got into dangerous positions.

Thought Artetas play rapidly disintegrated as the game went on

  9. I am doing movember myself, with a few from work.. Fella in work is sorting it out like... Considering it usually takes me a decade to grow one hair, surprisingly not shaved for a couple of days and its coming along.. well.. not nicely, because i dont sort taches but as mentioned it for a valuable cause!

    Everyone get invloved!

  10. For fuck's sake lads, lay off the cheese before bedtime!

Haha made me laugh that Ian .. Incidentally i drink quite a bit of milk before bed and i usually have a dream when ive drunk it... Strange!

Its great having everton related dreams, especially when they either win or you are in the team...

Matt i did survive, not sure how i did though, considering i was in full view of every car bomb then an exploding building.. But all in all a quality dream!

Mike your dream with the rubber limbs is a good one, its like a dream when you need to shout to someone but nothing comes out, it as though your dream knows what you want to happen so completely cuts that out the scenario haha

  11. Not sure if this is int he right place, sure a mod can tell me ?

I had a dream last night about the game saturday .. Unfortunately we drew 1-1 , we scored first but Jones scored for them, literally in the dying minutes .. (Bet?) Although i hate betting against us to draw or lose, whats the point.

However my dream took a strange turn, as i got out the ground i walked up one of the streets, and to cut a long story short a car bomb went off... Everyone went wild and was running anyway they could, in the whole, around 3 -4 car bombs went off, then a building blew up, it was actually quite scary, but a brilliant dream (After the match!)

I was told today dreams mean something... So if we draw 1-1 tomorrow i am defintely walking in the opposite direction when i get out of the ground!!!

  12. Rooney-gate? Winners: Alex Ferguson, Gabriel Agbonlahor, Rooney/Stretford's Bank managers. Losers: Rooney, Stretford, Glazers, Rio Ferdinand. Gabby Agbonlahor gone way up in my estimation for his public comments on all this bloody nonsense, Ferdinand gone down (even lower!) for his enabling comments making this seem usual. 490,000 UK public servants to be made redundant, widespread wage, benefits and service cuts. How many local, ordinary United fans can actually afford to go and see Rooney in OT? And here's Rooney throwing his fucking toys out of his pram yet again to double his paltry wage from 90k to 180k. Poor him.

But, are any Everton fans actually surprised? I'm not. We know what he's like and now, I think, everyone else does too.

You absoloutly nailed it with this comment mate!! Seriously though, Utd fans, i bet you, didnt think he was capable of doing that to them ...

    what did agbonlahor say?

Yeah what did he say ???

  13. Not got a great feeling we can get a result against spurs now with alot of quality missing from midfield, hope im wrong though

That, and the fact they had a massive game for 80 mins 10 men in milan...

    Fingers crossed ...

Does anyone agree on this ...

If we play away eg spurs ... were you cant get to the game and its on tv ... that we actually do well even if it ends in a 2-1 loss that we totally dominated, but the fact we played better than the opposition away from home (bit like villa)makes other fans watching on sky think everton are a good team ... i always think that, if we get beat comprehensively, its the first thing in my head is, everyone around the uk thinks were a bunch of shite.. don't know why!

On a totally different subject - anyone like white beers? I go to Rigbys in liverpools town centre on my dinner most fridays.. i have just been there for 1hr 30 mins, slightly drunk, but white beers are the best!!

  14. Yesterday at the match i got a black eye :-(

This happened when cahill scored and everyone sitting round me went bezerk (As you do!) well my mate sits a few rows in front of me and i tried celebrating with him but got an almighty smack int he eye from some fellas elbow (Clear a big dunc fan) cos this was no ordinary elbow haha... Obviously never meant it, but now i look like i've been roughed up!

Got me thinking ... anyone had similar injuries or any injuries celebrating goals or celebrating wins even and have had a crack?

  15. Haha funny but so so true!!

Yeah we will beat these. Should have last season, with ease in fact, but we let them back in it with a shit goal... Are defence will be solid and if yak starts he will be on target (Again like last season) 2-0 blues

Cum on blues ... these are shiteeee!!

I got the scoreline right :D If only i had put £10.00 on it!!

  16. Haha i had to read that back to see if i was missing anything... Not the best chant ive ever heard...

Lets not be hard on the guy, first post, everyones welcome here even if there song chanting is a load of balls...

Theres a song i got told before by a kopite about liverpool fans, cant remember it, but its to the tune of amarillo, not one you would sing at the ground, but it was funny to hear, specially when a kopite was telling me it!
