Why Victor? Not only am i a fan of him, but if you were to see the matches he has played so far, he has looked like player capable of coming into our team and playing a big part. Really don't understand people who slate Anichbe. Why do you think Moyes has kept hold of him this long, he knows himself, Victor is capable of shining, and becoming a big player for us. This season is his season to show his doubters what he can do.

Sorry if i sound abrupt but i am a big fan of Vic and always have been, and i can't wait for him to knock it up another level so his doubters are proved wrong

Am going to sound harsh here but i think we all believe it at some point. He will never make it at everton, we might aswell get rid, instead of moving the poor lad round every season, giving him false hope he will make it at everton

They can do one if they are thinking they can get him for 12 million! Especially when players like milner, ashley young and co are priced at 20 million plus! although they are younger, Mikel has the quality to get into any top European team! I would be happy if Jags and Mikel stay, thats our main priority! Not bothered about Pienaar, sell him to Inter and get Landon!

No the tickets have seat numbers on, i bought mine the other week for my season ticket seat and it came with my seat number on it.

What i did notice though on the everton site is that half the stadium is greyed out, is this because there only opening half the ground? Because theres no way those seats have sold out, because i noticed it the day the tickets went on sale

I think one of the main reasons we can't let Jags go is the Lescott saga - we'd be very hard pressed to get in another top-class replacement a la Heitinga, and centre back is a bit like goalkeeper in that it takes time to get someone settled in the position who builds up an understanding with those around him. Lescott leaving badly unsettled our team because we basically had to field a totally knew CB pairing with Jags being out, and before John H settled in there. Now we've got Jags and Johnny H which I reckon is a pretty damn good looking CB pairing that had some time playing together before the end of last season, be a big blow to have to changing that round again.

 

Anyway, I thought Wenger had already signed one CB from Europe and was sniffing round a couple more, anyone know any news on that?

Yeah you would think that was a quality looking partnership. Only you have forgotten Distin, and he will start games centre half, i think mainly due to his height and strength, plus i think towards the end of the season, him and jags got it together. Moyes has plenty to think about in alot of positions which is great.

As for jags, i really hope he stays, i would be gutted if he left us!

For the people who buy full kits for there own football games etc like myself, i noticed you could probably keep the shorts from last year, although on the socks they have changed the efc an le coq logos round, but still i would use last years socks, me being skint, is the reason behind this, but now ive decided to also buy the everton training top, the one rodwell shows on everton direct along with the black shorts, just for a change...

Useless info probably, but thought i'd share it

Usually there is still the system that operated last season regarding loyalty points etc. For instance I went to 16 league away games last season, so when Blackburn tickets go on sale they will stipulate that first entitlemet will go to, say for example, season ticket holders with 8 or more away purchases from last season and so on. The next away game , Villa, it will probably be season ticket holders with 6 away purchases from last season plus the Blackburn from this season. That is what usually happens but as we know this is Everton.

I don't seem to go to our first away game of the season, dont ask why, but i never seem to, maybe its lack of funds etc around that time of year, but i was thinking. Who gets priority for first away games? because at the start all season ticket holders are on an even keel. How does it work? Apologies if im having a very dumb moment, and this question sounds ridiculous!

Im defintely going to buy it, it looks quite nice, still though, reminds me of a training top, but a big improvment on last seasons imo

I voted for It's actually alright and Hell Yes, because I don't think it's that bad of a kit and it looks decent on the players.

 

My reason for saying hell yes is that we've got a pretty good money deal with LCS, probably a lot better than some other clubs who might be with more recognised brands. So I say even if people don't like the kit, we are still Everton at the end of the day, and if it means having what some people consider a really bad shirt but at the same time the club is in a better financial position (even if it's not by much) then I say so be it.
