  1. Capello is an idiot in my opinion, on the basis of what romey an others have said...

Warnock is going the world cup, ahead of baines who in my opinion is far better than warnock. He hardly attacks and he is hardly a brilliant defender either... Im just pissed off at the moment, so i won't bother writing stuff, that won't make sense given 20 minutes to reflect and calm down

  2. It sounds like Everton are really trying to walk to the ends of the earth for this kit, grand speeches, competitions and a marching parade into the store for the unveiling!? They are trying to get us excited about a polished turd basically. Trying to flog this (pink) dead horse by tarting up its unveiling is a joke.

The idea of people buying before they see it, is basically saying that our fans are soo passionate, that they will be willing to buy something without knowing where the money is going!? Joke.

If it is the pink kit, im worried for our dignity, honestly! The game of football is not just about the skill, but also a small percentage is the physcological impact oo the players. They say that kits can have a very slight advantage or disadvantage mentaly; teams in red tend to seem more 'aggressive and in you face' on the pitch, the colour blue suggests a 'calm, slow approach', tighter fitting shirts can make the players look more 'proud', whereas baggy shirts look 'lazy'.

Chelsea's kit compensates the colour with the fitting and detail. Our kit last season, wasn't fitted, looked shit and made our 'boys' look like 'girls' with their buil in bra's.

This pink kit (If real) will make our boys look like faggots and potential laughing stocks. like most, i won't be buying it (If you haven't guessed already)

    There's my rant :)

Ive gotta say im with you in all that you say there mate

It better not be that crap pink shirt we have all had the dis honour of viewing recently. Robert elstone said its visually stunning. He better be right, or i'll visually stun him haha!

  3. RobertElstone said -

"the kit is visually stunning and one of the most technically advanced shirts on the market today. Quite simply it is engineered for success"

With that in mind surely that pink disaster cant be the real deal, that, or Robert Elstone has lost the plot... Maybe a case for "Shuda gone to specsavers!"

  4. Its not a laughing matter this in my opinion, MOTD need to sort themselves out, if you look at the list actually some of our matches were decent games, ie Arsenal, Aston Villa, defintely a vendetta against us, because it happens season after season, and i remember watching once, and everton were on last and alan hansen said live on air, it was gary linekers fault. Hes a bell end him....

  5. As most will know as ive explained previously im a music producer and ive just completed a new remix and thought maybe one or two might like to check it out! Quite an emotional piece going on once the main melodies etc kick in, if you have time check it out and let me know what you think!

  6. if he helped us into the top 4, your return is made. If he could help the team achieve this in his 2-3 years, the return might even be a new player or two from the prize money, one of whom could be a replacement for him. I dont think he will slow down that much, i would sign him on a 4-5 year contract, his work rate wont disappate as quickly as his pace. His back-tracking is down to stamina more than speed, and that should last longer too.

Just a comparison - Pienaar is only 28, would you buy him for the money youre talking about? Other teams like Spurs (even Utd mentioned yesterday i think) are willing to.

sorry dude, this one is a no-brainer!

I havn't read any other replies below this one, as i believe your comments nail the matter on the head mate... Everything written there is what i also believe...

Plus, we know how he plays in our team, so thats gotta be a plus, i mean, say we bought some random winger and it didnt work out? At least we know that Landon fits right in, and has a general desire to succeed in our team

  7. I don't get there as often as I would like either, but it seems to have been a steady decline over a number of years.

Don't get me wrong, when in the mood the old lady can and does still rock, but it seems to need a spark or big occasion to get things going.

Yeah i tend to agree with that, and i think playing in europe the past few seasons may underline that slight decline, i think anyway, because, of the amount of Sunday games we have had. I hate Sunday matches, no one can be bothered at all! So hopefully this coming season, some more 3pm kick offs! and a better atmosphere all around, but as you saym, when its rocking, my word its rocking! :)

  8. Yeah a great result for our ladies... I watched the match myself and was really impressed by the quality of football at times, The game got stretched midway through the second half, and they all looked quite tired, arsenal seemed to have a lot of energy, but Everton ladies kept going, and dowie scored a brilliant goal to win the game, i cheered the goals and everything haha, brilliant, well done! :)

  9. Im gutted ive missed this thread, but yeah it has to go down as one of the best, to be fair there have been some good points made, but over the duration of the thread, im afraid, kenny, your points as others mentioned are flawed, i don't need to re rewrite the same flawss made, as half this board have already done it countless times... No dig at you, this is what makes the world what it is, differing opinions. But for the sake of our great club, what you actually propose is quite ludacrious ...

By the way some members replies have been hilarious, a great read, and has cured my boredom in work no ends!

  10. Ok, so this isnt strictly a rumour for us personally or anyone. But ive decided to put it in this thread, with the following link, suggesting Raul could be open to a move to a "top 6" club, we most defintely are a top 6 club, lower his wages... Would you take him?

Think i would, not sure why either!!

(Take out the backspace in the link were it says "story" an paste whoel link into your browser, for some reason it wont work properly :( )

  11. Stoke City 1 - 3 Everton

    Cahill 2 Pienaar 1

I think we will go 2-0 up at the break, theyll pull one back, then cahill will get his second around the 80 minute mark to seal the deal :)

Liverpool to lose 0-1 this weekend to Chelsea... Turn up the heat blue boys!!!
