  1. where is everyone gettin the news from that neil rejected a bigger deal from west ham, apparantly they offered him half his current wages (35k). personally i would take him on a free but no more than 30k a week.he is a better all round defender than hibbert and jacobsen ,can play CB and has played RM for Blackburn in the past.he is a good friend of cahill's which could sway things in our favour also and i'm sure hewould be a good addition to the squad
  2. he is an attacking midfielder with a fantastic shot on him, great passing ability and really creative.i would say he is most like lampard as a player but more skilful.he still hasn't reached his full potential but he is startin to impose himself on games more like the great players do. i watched him for italy vs macedonia a few months ago and he was outstanding (he scored two in a 2-1 win)
  3. i know its early to start talkin about what team we should put out against chelsea but i think moyes should seriously look at reverting back to cahill up front and big fell behind him. for me saha has been poor of late and wouldn't trouble terry and alex and rodwell is startin to come into his own in the middle of the park and i still think its a bit early for vaughan to start,my team would be: howard hibbert yobo lescott baines osman rodwell neville pienaar felliani cahill
  4. this lad is world class mate. he is without a doubt Italy's next big thing and has been linked with arsenal and man utd in the past. it would take at least £20 million for Roma to even consider sellin him as he is that good. so therefore that rules us out!
  5. i have'nt played fm since i was surgically removed from my computer 5 years ago and sent to fm addiction school where they slowly weened me off it and made me realise there was more to life than a football management game ha ha only jokin check the site out imoscouting its got some great reviews
  6. with moyes' new wengerish scouting network emerging over the past few months i thought i'd add a few suggestions myself of good youngsters who we would do well to sign and would be realistic targets: -john fleck-17, scottish 'wayne rooney' at rangers already in their first team, AM or 2nd striker and left footed -james mcCarthy-18, scottish CM plays for hamilton, just been voted SPL young player of the year i believe (£3 million) -anders randrup-20, RB for FC Brondby but can also play LB very attacking and apparantly the best Danish prospect since Dan Agger -alex tettey-23, box to box CM plays for Rosenborg, similar to essien but with more of an eye for goal.recent full norway international after changing his allegiances from ghana -cheick diabate-21, 6ft 3 in Mali striker raw talent but loaned to ajacco from bordeaux in the french league this season, played 27 scored 12 -robert lewandowski,20, polish striker 6ft 1 in, plays for lech poznan, compared to torres, played 45 scored 19 -piet velthuizen 22, dutch Gk at vitesse arnhem, voted dutch gk of the year solid prospect marcus berg 22, 6ft 1in swedish striker torres style, 33 goals in 55 games for FC groningen in the dutch league stats and info courtesy of imoscouting.com and wikipedia what do ya's reckon?
  7. i must admit lads gosling doesn't look like the greatest talent in the world and he often goes missing in games but what moyes see's in him is that priceless ability to pop up with something special and he seems to have the knack of bein in the right place when opportunities arise, similar to cahill. ok he needs to work on his all round game to justify being a regular starter but its times like these when he can get the chance to gain the experience of the prem. i think most people would be moanin at moyes if the lads were only gettin 5 mins here and there off the bench!
  8. would like both of these to be honest but don't think we could afford.i would say our budget for the summer would be about 15 million so only one of these would be an option.i would have -bentley (maybe around 8 million if we are lucky) -ledley (wouldn't pay more than 5 million though) -gibson/sean davis (as extra midfield cover both would be available on a free) -then lets just hope moyes can pull off a couple more freebies or loan signings to boost the numbers as i think we need cover at the back and up front aswell
  9. think wolves will struggle unless they spend (they have financial backing from steve morgan the guy who tried to buy liverpool a few years back) birmingham have a chance of stayin up if they improve their firepower lets get behind preston for the playoffs cos of the obviuos efc connection moyes and irvine but also another northwest away game by the way what a job irvine has done at preston, could be a potential future efc manager if moyes ever left
  10. not sure on him not a bad player but couldn't really see spurs sellin him anyway.harry redknapp said in the press a few weeks back that almost every one of his players has been linked with a move away from spurs, but he said he doesn't need to sell to buy unlike many other teams this summer. personally i thought pogrebnyak from zenit st petersburg was a much better prospect than pavlychenko last season and only missed out on the euro's with russia through injury.he was arshavin strike partner.don't know what he's been like this season however
  11. it must have took u a while to type that list up mate!!!!! lol
  12. hallam has finished his season playing the last two games for the u-18s and scoring in both.not bad for a 15 year old kid.could he be a new rooney? you can view the match reports on the official site
  13. p.s. this is what i think DM is looking for, i might be completely wrong, so sorry lol You know what i would like, a Veloso and Moutinho double swoop, £18m for both with increases based on CL, goals and appearances. My god i would need more boxers, think of this as a midfield....(i like it anyway ) with attacking fullbacks, very Inter (from a few seasons ago) ----------Arteta-----Veloso---------- ---------------Fellaini----------------- ---------Moutinho-------------------- --------------------Cahill------------- Then a team of: -------------------Howard------------------ --New RB----Lescott----Jagielka----Baines-- --------------------Veloso---------------------- ---------Fellaini-------------Arteta------------- -------------Moutinho-------------------------- -------------------------Cahill------------------ -----------------Yakubu------------------------ ---------------- OR-------------------- -------------------Howard---------------------- --New RB----Lescott-----Jagielka----Baines-- ----------Arteta-------Veloso------------------ -----------------Fellaini------------------------- -------Moutinho-------------------------------- -----------------------Cahill-------------------- ---------------Yakubu-------------------------- You like? sounds about right to me mate though not sure if we need veloso cos neville has been good this season and if rodwell carries on the way he is developing then he will be outsanding in that holding role.
  14. thanks for the info trueblue.lets 'hope' this lads a star for the future then.ypu can watch the goals from last years milk cup on the bbc website.hope scores some great goals!
  15. they could have kept him on for longer than they had him but they refused.that doesn't say much for the lad. i have thought he looked good in the past but don't think he can make it at the very top level
  16. PLAYERS OUT-[- castillo- too slow for prem. jacobsen-not had a chance but doubt he will be taken on again VDM-no explanation needed! valente-maybe employ him as a european scout kissock-can't see him getting kept on after not making it at accrington stanley! so we would be 5 players down by my reckoning but will we have the money for 5 new players. i think DM should look for a -solid attacking RB (m.richards) -A left sided midfielder (moutinho/jonas/s.hunt) -a young winger (s.sinclair) -another defensive midfielder (l.cattlemore) -and another striker (possibly jo if not k.doyle) think we should loan victor out for the season to the championship cos still think he can improve and hopefully vaughany can come back good cos he will be lika a new signing
  17. i believe DM would be looking at moutinho as more of a pienaar type playing on the left but drifting infield when possible as he has filled that role alot at sporting this season.i think we do need a natural winger to add a bit of flexibility to the squad but i think DM prefers to play with attacking full backs than have out and out wingers.
  18. For example, there's talk now of west ham, and the news reports have him rated at 8,5 million £... I mean, come on. If Everton couldn't get him for what, 15, 16M, is west hamBolton gonna get him for 8??? Who in here believes that??? i read somewhere that moutinho has only 12 months left on his contract in the summer maybe that is why the low price.can anyone confirm this or was it just paper talk!
  19. has anyone heard about this lad this year.he was part of the u-15s squad that won the milk cup last summer and he got rave reviews.thought he would have possibly played for the u-18s by now?
